Let’s be honest, I dislike Golden Corral. I am also not a fan of buffets. However, visiting family and my nephew and mother both wanted to go here for dinner. I sucked it up and went.
This is a newer location and I was surprised that the place was pretty neat and the servers were on top of removing plates, bringing new silverware and drinks. The buffet itself was well-​stocked.
Some food items were great, other things weren’t to my liking, but I knew going in this wasn’t my «thing». It wasn’t a bad meal, it was just ok.

Smallest GC I’ve ever seen. Limited selections. Fried chicken was tough, meat loaf was terrible. Shrimp was good, as were all the vegetables. Service? They fill your tea glass, everything else you do yourself. Scary looking Cleopatra makeup on one cashier. Not impressed.

The food here always tastes great! And the service today was on point I must say… The only issue I have is that they don’t keep the floors and chairs very clean… This had been the 4th time I have eaten here and on every visit I have tried sitting in different areas of this place and is still the same issue… I would give it a higher rating if the floors were a little cleaner!

This was my first time ever to a Golden Corral buffet. I was skeptical at first because I thought it might be as bad as Ryan’s, but to my surprise it was much better than I expected. The price for dinner was less than most buffets I’ve been to. The food was hot and fresh. Meats, steamed veggies and sweet potatoes were good. High turnover, so fresher food. Good southern style food. Not too salty or greasy. Food cooked just right. Good service.
My only cons were that it is noisy and there could be better desserts and fruits. Overall, it was good and I would go there again.
