My must go to place it’s a one stop weekly trip. Employees are everywhere and always helpful and friendly. Even had the manager David help me several times finding what I need. The pharmacy staff are absolutely the best they go out of there way to make sure my family has there medicine on time every month. Never complain when we call a lot. This store offers groceries I need, clothes and housegoods to keep my family up and ready everyday if they don’t have what I need they will order it and ship it free to the store in no time at all. Cassandra at the pharmacy has personally called me when I’m waiting on my medicine. I don’t shop anywhere else no need to. If you want a store that has everything for everyday life Walmart is the place to go. I’ve made more friends shopping and feel right at home. As a business owner I rate Walmart as the best place to shop and save money in a welcoming comfortable atmosphere that keeps you coming back like granny’s kitchen. Thanks to all the employees you all go above and beyond your job, my children even enjoy shopping with me keep up the good work you make a difference in Stillwater and all the family’s that shop there.

There is 2 walmarts in stillwater.. This one is the worst.. everytime I go here I end up having to leave to go to the other walmart on 6th street because they are never stocked on their items… If I stop a worker to ask for help they either have to go ask someone else or are just rude to me.

If you seem to unceasing fall defeated when faced with rejection, come to the Wal-Mart here on Perkins and try smiling at some of the employees(even the ones that look like managers!). You will UNQUESTIONABLY be met with a straight face and, chances are, they’ll turn the other way, too. It’s like free exposure therapy!

Visited on: multiple dates from 2012 to present This is the Walmart — and store of any kind, really — I frequent most, since it has everything I usually need(including groceries), is open 24 hours(as is the 6th Avenue Walmart), and is closer to my house than the 6th Avenue Walmart. However, this Walmart suffers from the same problems of overcrowding and general chaos as most Walmarts do. To make matters worse, because it’s so heavily used, it’s frequently out of stock on things I need, which can be really frustrating. If you’re a night owl, I recommend coming in late at night(like between 10PM and 6AM) to avoid the crowds.

What can I say — even those who’ve been to WalMarts before in other states will be amazed by the horrors one can see in this WalMart. From a gross produce section in which clouds of fruit flies hover unabated(see photo) to aisles so skinny that carts can’t pass each other, this WalMart is a masterclass in the existential crises that WalMarts have been known to foster. You’ll see it all; women yelling at their kids, toddlers abandoned in the aisles to scream at the tops of their lungs, hummus containers stored vertically so that the hummus leaks out and drips onto the food below, downtrodden men«vaping» by the soda machines. Yes, the Lovecraftian circus that some WalMarts only manage to tacitly suggest is in full display at this WalMart. After you manage to navigate the horribly-designed parking lot(in which stop signs are randomly distributed without rhyme or reason) and park your car, there will almost certainly be a man(or woman) smoking in a dilapidated chrysler minivan next to you. He’s not shopping at WalMart. Not today. He just has nowhere else to go. Your whole experience at this WalMart, while peppered with occasional good deals, will force you to re-examine every choice you’ve made in your life to this point; every choice which has led to your being in this WalMart. That being said, their fresh mozzarella is pretty cheap(something like $ 2.69, last time I checked), so I’m giving them two stars.

Should I review Walmart? Yeah why not. This is the old Walmart in town and it’s definitely not in as pristine condition as the newer, larger Walmart, but it is the one I frequent most often. It has pretty much everything a Walmart should have, which is everything. Unfortunately the isles are small in comparison to other Walmarts and the parking lot is a pain to navigate through. Otherwise, it’s just like the innumerable other Walmarts. However, this one has self checkout unlike the newer Walmart. I like the self checkout unless I have people in line in front of me with enough groceries to feed all of China twice over.

Okay, don’t laugh. Yes, I’m reviewing Wal-Mart. But not just any Wal-Mart — this store is the mother of all Wal-Marts. Gleaming, organized rows of merchandise that practically glow from the aisle amazed me this afternoon as I browsed through the store. I’m used to shopping at an unruly Target in ghetto Brooklyn, so coming here is the discount department store version of driving the autobahn versus potholed American highways. There are varieties of cosmetics and shower gels that aren’t even available at any of the Targets and Duane Reads that I’ve been to in New York. I told my surprised sister that she should appreciate how easily available all this stuff was — I would have to run around New York City for two days straight to have the equivalent of the shopping experience at this gigantic store. Grocery store, tire center, home improvement center — this Wal-Mart has it all! When I was a student at Oklahoma State, this used to be the most likely place to run into people you know outside of the student union, so I guess it’s sort of an unofficial student union in a way ;-) They say New York has it all, but I’d kill to have just one store like this one. Amazingly, this tiny town has two of these retail behemoths! People say Wal-Mart is evil and they kill small businesses — well, that may be true, but they also offer great merchandise at low prices in one convenient location. Their IT system is incredibly sophisticated & caters to customers’ wants & needs. For example, this Wal-Mart, taking note of the large international student population, offers frozen Indian meals. I’m sorry small businesses, my laid-off ass loves Wal-Mart!
