Standard local boutique olive oil and vinegar shop. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. You’re allowed to self-​help and sample everything they have. Keep the bottles, wash em, and when you return, you get $ 1 off your refill.

As we were walking down Main Street, the owner just happened to be sweeping up outside the door & said «Hello. How are you today?» Minnesota nice at its finest. So, we decided to go in as we love sampling olive oils & balsamics which is what we did; weather in a little cup or over a little piece of bread, she has such a mind boggling selection of flavors. The prices are reasonable & the atmosphere quaint. Keep up the good work.

I absolutely love this place! You can mix and match flavors they are great for cooking or on salads. I have all together quit using regular salad dressing. Also try sending them as gifts, everyone I have sent them to loves them.

As you’d expect, this place has a nice selection of oil and vinegar and, like most olive oil stores, free sampling of every kind. Why don’t liquor stores do this?
I agree with the reviewer who wrote that customer service at this store is basically nonexistent.
I went in all excited to find something new to cook with. I asked for recommendations… things that might be her favorites. She looked at me like I had just asked her to discuss the mating habits of the mediterranean wood mouse. I’m so sorry to bore you with my questions about olive oil, Miss Olive Oil Salesperson.
In the end, I got what I came for by asking my 8-​year-​old niece which one SHE liked; she closed her eyes, spun around three times, jumped up and down and pointed to the pumpkin seed. A little enthusiasm, that’s all I was after.
Protip:
When buying unusual or flavored oil that you might not use a lot of, ask for a small 4-​ounce sample bottle.

A great tasting experience, but need to go with a plan in mind really of what you want it for. I would suggest that they add some recipes of how you could use the mixtures because I would have bought more had I been able to come up with ideas for use. It’s fabulous to be able to taste all of them.

Absolutely love this place! My husband and I stop here every time we are in Stillwater to visit our family. We just were there yesterday and bought Tuscan herb, organic garlic oil, and strawberry balsamic! Can’t wait to use them at home :)

The staff was super helpful and attentive. The tastes are amazing. I live in Chicago, and I will visit Stillwater Olive Oil Company every time I’m back in town.
They have great spices to mix in with the olive oils too! They have lots of samples; try them out. Additionally, they will ship stuff for you right from the store.

Visiting the Stillwater Olive Oil Company is truly a unique experience…
When you walk in, you are instantly welcomed to try one of their unique olive oils. With numerous plates of bread available for dipping, one could keep busy sampling all afternoon.
If cornered to pick a favorite, I would go for their «chipotle oil»… It is light, smooth, and just slightly spicy.
Their products are slightly pricey but the ability to sample before you buy ensures consumer satisfaction. I would recommend the Stillwater Olive Oil Company to anyone that takes cooking seriously.
