This is a restaurant that me and my family visit about once a year. We come here because of the scenery but the food has always been great. The prices are reasonable and the service is good. The one thing we like is to walk on the beach area they have after we eat our kids love that.

Always great food but very crowded on weekends during the summer. I live on Kent Island so I go there mainly in the winter.

VEGETARIANS: They fry everything(meat, fries, onion rings, tuna app, etc) in the same fryer… so a large portion of the menu is not viable. I had high hopes for this place due to it’s location and other great reviews. Our experience didn’t start off great and ended up being meh. We made a reservation and specified that we needed to sit outside due to bringing our dogs. When we arrived they said no one wrote down that we needed to sit outside and they had just given our table away. The repeated phrase was, «We can’t guarantee anything.» The food was mediocre. The drinks were mediocre at best. The staff was not super friendly. We wanted to experience the tiki bar and on the website there’s no indication that you can’t bring your dogs and in fact dogs are supposed to be allowed on the beach. We were stopped well before the tiki bar saying, «Kids make dogs nervous.»(our dogs love kids). And we barred from even seeing the beach. So overall it just wasn’t a great experience. Very disappointing.

great view, good food. the only gripe i had was that they didn’t have a crab boil type platter, that came with a variety of seafood items. pretty much all seafood was a la cart, especially the blue crabs.

Restaraunt is good. Food inside is Good. Dirty Daves tiki bar outside is HORRIBLE. The bartenders are rude and very ignorant. You cannot get waited on unless you are one of there«friends». They ignore you and pretend like you don’t exist. The view is the only good part about the entire beach. STAY inside!

This restaurant is fantastic!!! The location is a great place to enjoy a really fun getaway with the family! You have to check out he super fun beach set up with a Tiki Bar. Alex and staff go out of their way to give top notch service at the bar! The Brick Oven Pizza is a rare find! One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!!! You get the best of seafood, pizza and tons of fun!!! Thank you Alex and staff for a wonderful experience!!!

Stopped off for a nice dinner on way back from beach. Dinner was excellent — ocean scallops were broiled perfectly and fish and chips were«the best my wife has ever had.» Fun atmosphere with water view Worth going a few miles off the rt 50. Definitely plan to return.

Go for the view, not the food! Shrimp salad had zero flavor, fish tacos and cheeseburgers were much of the same. Too pricey for bad tasting food.

This place is really nice, crabs were ok! Not that flavor I was looking– I’ll stick to cooking my own crabs– especially since your paying a pretty penny here! Service was great and the tiki bar outside on the beach was cool– the view is always awesome(it gets an extra star for the view only) It can get crowded on the weekends so try to make reservations!

Great location with a beach, hammocks, tiki bar, and delicious food! Was very busy on Saturday night and the bar outside got a little messy, and the wait for a drink was a little longer than we would’ve liked. But I’m excited to go back and spend the day there on another sunny day! Reasonable prices too.

So for starters we went to Kentmorr tonight around 7:30pm. Our waiter didn’t explain specials or tell us about the sides. I asked for the crab feast and was told they dont sell it after 7pm. My friend asked if they would accomadate her getting an order of fried shrimp along with her entrée and they told her no. I ordered the snow crab legs with potato salad and a caesar salad. Once we ordered we had to ask for a basket of bread as we were never served any like the other tables. The potato salad had too much mayo and egg. Also, my caesar salad was nothing but old lettuce, cheese and a lot of dressing no croutons. Will not be back as the waiter should have paid attention to these things.

Great food at reasonable prices! We liked the pizza but don’t miss the crab cakes. And if you like coconut at all, you’ve gotta have the coconut bomb cake! Also, the entire staff was quite friendly and accommodating. We’ll be coming back!

This is one of the best Maryland-style seafood restaurants I’ve tried in the Baltimore-WD area. Their choice of seafood is pretty impressive and their crab cakes are great as well. The best part? IT is all rather affordable compared to other restaurants in the style. It also had a pretty good vacation mood, thanks to be being about 15 minute drive from all the other crab places of the area and having a nice terrace with a view on the Chesapeake bay. Would definitely recommend.

This is an amazing restaurant on the dock! We’ve been to this place four time and reserved a table outside each time so we could bring our dog and he loved it too! After the waiter/waitress takes your order, if you order crabs, another employee will come to your table and cover the entire thing in brown construction paper for easy cleanup. The pricing is well suited for the amount of food provided. I ordered my regular, fish and chips. It comes with three large pieces of breaded cod on a bed of fries, a ramekin of coleslaw and a lemon wedge. It never fails to disappoint! My parents usually order a bucket of medium size crabs and the crabcakes, both of which I recommend as well. The desert is cheap considering the large portion sizes. We usually get the peach cobbler and it is the best I’ve had thus far. There is also a beach behind the restuarant with a tikibar and sometimes live music!(Beach is not dog friendly).

I really love this place. I wish I had gone sooner. If only it were a little bigger… but it does make you feel like your on an island far away from home. Decent drink prices by tikki bar and the food is delicious. Live music, games. It really is a fun weekend activity to do in a group for a last minute/or planned getaway because it’s so close to home.(I live in Olney MD btw. Can’t wait for summer 2016!

Is it a beach? Kid friendly? Bar? We went on weekday midday so it wasn’t too crowded. I would not want to be there if it was especially with the kids and the beach and alcohol flowing. It was nice to hang out with some friends and have a play date there but they don’t have much food for kids. And it’s kind of gross trying to eat pizza with wet children and sunscreen and sand. Definitely overpriced but you don’t come for the food, you come for the cool hammocks and so you can have a beer and the kids can waddle in the water. They would be awesome if they had a life guard because of all things that could go wrong when you have a few drinks and forget you are at the beach with your kids oh wait where are my kids?! Lol. Just kidding I didn’t drink.

Fantastic!!! I was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of MD(in Marion Station, 5 miles north of Crisfield) and I moved to Baltimore for college in 2001. It took years for me to find quality, meaty Maryland crabs that compared to my hometown crabs. Visiting this gem today for the first time(at the advisement of a dear friend who was bred in Grasonville) left me pleasantly surprised(and full). We took a sporadic day trip from Baltimore because we were craving hot fat crabs. Little did we know that we were headed to this restaurant, which sits on the water, has a private beach, a tiki-bar, and visiting steel drum band. The parking lot was full and the nearby streets made it difficult to find parking. I see why now. We had to wait for seating, but not too long. We enjoyed waiting for our personal phone call while snacking on hot fries on the beach. Soon after we were seated, we ordered 2 Dozen medium crabs, soft shell crab sandwiches and hushpuppies. Everything was exceptional. The mediums were closer to large and very sweet and meaty. I was impressed. My husband enjoyed his first-time ever softshell crab sandwich(with BACON!) The hushpuppies appetizer included at least 12 hushpuppies. Very good. We were stuffed but had to sample their ice cream. That was great too! We couldn’t go wrong. We ended he afternoon dancing to the visiting steel drum band on the beach, as we saw the bay bridge in the background. This was a great day trip to a great hidden gem on(in my opinion) the better side of the bay bridge.

Overpriced for the food you get. I felt that they could have given me ALOT more… I mean… $ 24 for two cluster of crab legs? Anne seafood offers me more than that on a Thursday night! Crab mac & cheese was tastey. Crab dip was tastey. But everything else… I wouldn’t really recommend. Desserts are boring… just cake and icecream. The tiki bar they have that serves cold drinks… all the drinks come out in liquid form. Which makes me wonder… where is the slushy? The beach is fine and they play music and have chairs and games. Good place. Downside to all of this if you can’t bring your own drinks so you are at the mercy of their tiki bar for drinks. At least water is free!

Had a lovely dinner last night with my fiancé celebrating his birthday sitting outside with view of boats and water. Having lived here in MD for 3 years now, crab cakes were truly best I’ve had with delectable lump crab, not shredded meat and lightly seasoned as to not mask the flavor of the crab. From the hostesses to or server everyone so nice, funny and helpful and brought out a piece of dessert with Happy Birthday written on the plate. Thank you for making his and my evening special. We will be back.

Had an incredible experience here yesterday afternoon for the AYCE crabs and corn for $ 30/person. It was drizzly outside all day Saturday, so I assume most people just wanted to stay indoors. Except for one accident on the Beltway which we were able to navigate around, our drive all the way from NoVA was smooth sailing. Paid $ 6 toll to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge but only needed to do that on the way there and not the return. Before leaving I called around to several crab houses and was a little surprised that many of them did not do it on Saturdays. Kentmorr was the 1st one we called that did, but was a little skeptical when the lady that picked up said«until they run out». I asked, when do they«usually» run out, and said they should be good until about 7pm. Just in case, I looked around for a Plan B and found The Jetty was also doing AYCE crabs for $ 25. So we were set, and off we went. Once you arrive to Kent Island, you have to drive South even more essentially traversing half the Island. When you finally arrive, it feels like it’s tucked away behind a small neighborhood and interestingly enough behind a small grass air field for small planes. Parking for the restaurant liked very limited but saw lots of other cars parking on the side of the road. We were lucky to get a spot right on front of the restaurant. We were seated in the covered patio which was really nice and spacious. We ordered a small kids meal for $ 5 with grilled chicken, fries, and juice. It looked kind of insubstantial even for a kid but our little girl didn’t eat much anyway so no big deal. Our waitress was great making sure we weren’t wanting for more crabs or drinks. It wasn’t really crowded so I suspect that is why we didn’t have to wait a long time between crabs reloads. They really dump on a lot of seasoning on which can be quite salty, but my trick was to pick out all the meat off several crabs then eat all the meat all at once. That kept me from having to lick my salty fingers all the time. The medium sized male crabs were really meaty so I was able to grow quite a pile of crab meat before eating the fruit of my labor. There is a two hour limit but we didn’t quite get to that point because the kids weren’t cooperating anymore. We thought the experience here was better than our experience at Harris years before. We will definitely be back here the next time we do ayce crabs.
