I originally had no intentions of wedding dress shopping since I planned to use my mother’s dress. But as the date gets closer I thought I should review all options, and that’s what led me to David’s bridal. I ultimately decided not to go with either dress I tried on, but I wanted to leave a 5 star review because Hazel made this awkward bride feel really comfortable. I felt she really listened to me, and didn’t attempt to put me in a dress that didn’t fit my preferences. Hazel answered all my questions and put me in two very beautiful dresses, which made my decision very difficult. If for any reason my mom’s dress doesn’t work out, I will be at David’s in a hot flash.

This location is so great! This was my second time here trying on dresses and I had Corri first visit and lily the second visit. Corri was so sweet and helpful when trying to find what I liked.
LILY was absolutely amazing, kind, and patient. I tried on so many dresses and she never made me feel rushed. With each gown she was so positive and made me feel beautiful in each bridal gown. She always kept sashes near by and would give me lots of input about what looks good and what would look even better.
After 15 dresses and 3 hours later, I found the dress I loved. I had my family there and she was so sweet and explained the symbolism behind all the veils and finally gave me the bell to ring and say «yes to my dress»! After a bad experience at another small local bridal boutique I am so happy I had lily to help me say yes to the dress.

This review is for bridesmaid dresses not wedding dresses.
Came here looking for a short Wisteria/​lavender bridesmaid dress. I was surprised at the low quality of their bridesmaid dresses. I tried on several different styles of dresses and they all struck me as cheaply made (the zippers were difficult to zip, generic material) I guess that must be true considering they are only in the $ 100-​$ 200 price range. It was difficult to find a flattering fit and most of the styles were boxy and outdated. I managed to find a dress that fit my needs and it was ready for pick up in a month. When it arrived, the store called every day harassing me to come pick it up within five days or else. Or else what? I got the dress and I’m ready for the wedding, but I would only recommend David’s Bridal in the future if you are really trying to budget on bridesmaid dress costs.

I’ll begin by saying that I had a very good overall experience.
I am getting married in December and I decided to stop into this store based on their reviews being better than other David’s bridal stores. As I walked in, I was unsure of where or how to start. I wasn’t quite greeted by the reception person (didn’t catch her name) so I began looking through the dresses. Being that this was my first visit, I didn’t know what the norm was and began picking dresses out of the racks. Eventually the reception person tells me I was not allowed to take dresses off the rack but could pull them out slightly to mark which I wanted to see. At this point she registered me while she answered several phone calls and didn’t seem to be the best multi tasker and even spelled my name incorrectly. After this, she asked me to wait for someone to help me, so I continued to look through the racks.
After a few minutes I was introduced to the associate, Hazel, who was going to help me try on dresses. She went through a checklist of questions to help determine the style of gown I was looking for. Hazel turned out to be extremely helpful and accommodating, she really helped ease me through the process and went as far as styling my hair to help me envision how the dress and veil would all look together.
Unfortunately, after a couple of hours and a few dresses, I didn’t walk out with the dress of my dreams but also didn’t feel pressured to purchase something I wasn’t completely satisfied with. I did feel that Hazel really wanted to help my find the right dress and have made an appointment with her to return and find a dress I am completely satisfied with.
I look forward to writing a follow up review after my next visit.

I purchased my dress here on Saturday. Im beyond happy with my purchase. Hazel M. helped me and was wonderful! Really helpful and knowledgeable. I fell in love with the first dress she showed me. I tried a couple more but the first one was the one. She took the information i gave her and nailed it. I can’t express how greatfull and Happy i am. Even thought she had multiple people she was helping she always made my friend and i feel like the center of attention :).

Karina did a fantastic job at helping me choose my wedding dress, I am very grateful that I found her. I had gone to other places and they didn’t work with me, I kept asking for a petite dress and all they gave me was regular length. (That means $ 400 in alterations) When I went in to the store the first thing I told her was I need a petite size. She was very sweet and understanding. She went beyond the call of duty and found me the perfect fitting dress, within my budget with minimal alterations required! She also found me the perfect accessories and made suggestions on shoes. She had great ideas for my wedding party favors. I know she only works part time but if you are looking for the perfect consultant make your appointment and ask for her.

Corri was extremely helpful and picked out the perfect dress for my wedding day. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered in every way. I recommend her for anyone looking to find their perfect dress. Thanks, Corri!

Amanda is the BEST one here! It’s a shame she isn’t a stylist anymore (moved to a management position), but it’s awesome for her! When I initially came here to look at dresses Amanda helped me and she was perfect! She is very honest (which I loved… I hate wasting time) and will make you look good in anything… I don’t know how she does it. I even tried on the same dresses at my next appt. with someone else and they didn’t look as good. I will be going to my alterations appt. soon, but so far Helen (the seamstress) is super nice & friendly. Hopefully she can make my dress look even better. ;)

I picked up my dress yesterday after Helen altered it. The dress turned out incredible and I am so grateful for Helen’s service! She did a fantastic job!

I would have given it a five only if the undergarments i bought was not the ones costumers were trying on, and they were not in perfect shape and if i buy it full price i don’t think it is fair for the costumer. I was able to exchange one but the other they didn’t have any.
BUT…
My five stars goes to great costumer service and careful attention to detail by helen on taking care of my alterations. She made me fit like a glove on the beautiful dress i picked for our short planned church wedding.
Hazel and sunshine (manager) were very helpful and attentive considering that i was not the only costumer that day. It would have been busier but they managed to find the perfect dress for me and also the matching earrings.
Just a tip: if u have the time before going to davids, be ready. Alterations have a rush fee so plan ahead. Before purchasing maybe u can find or buy undergarments u feel comfortable on the dress then come back and refit for alterations.
I absolutely had no time so i felt like it was so quick, though i still love my dress.
Pick a day that is not too busy, coz they get rattled too like us when coping with stress.
And the preservation kit is a good idea but is just way too much for my budget.
If I would have been in my situation again i will still go to david’s bridal because it does have almost all you need and they will make it work for you!

Honestly I was very hesitant about going in because a friend of mine didn’t have a great experience but me and my mom went anyway I had an apt with Corri and she was amazing! She listened to everything I was looking for in a dress and what I didn’t want, she was great at making me feel beautiful in every dress, and after two dresses I was sold! My time here was great! Corri didn’t even care when I asked her to re try the same dresses on again! Even when her shift was done I was so disappointed because I hadn’t decided on the dress yet that she stayed with me anyway and helped me find the perfect one! I couldn’t have had a better experience and a wonderful time here! Without her input and honesty I don’t know that I would have found the dress of my dreams! Thank you so much!
Ryan who is a a manager I believe there is also awesome! He always greets me by my name and is always so attentive! I have had some scheduling issues with my final fitting and he is so great at working with my schedule and making sure he can do everything he can to make my experience there perfect! Honestly the whole staff is great and always give there honest opinion! I am so glad I went in that day! All my bridesmaid got their dresses and the mother of the bride and groom so thank you so much!
