Came here last night for my friends birthday. I do not understand why this place has two stars. in my opinion it’s better than Darna and Clouds. The bartenders, security guards, and servers/hostess were extremely friendly and attentive. The music selection was also really nice, they had a variety of music playing(persian, arabic, punjabi, rap, house, etc). The food was delicious and reasonably priced(got their baja burger). The ambiance was lively and clean and the décor was very modern. Overall, it was a wonderful and fun night. I will definitely be back!

Came here on a recommendation of a friend on a Saturday night and gotto say this looks like it could be in NY or LA something. The interior is really nicely decorated and creates a very kool atmosphere, definitely wasn’t expecting that in that area so bravo. Got there pretty early but it was really busy so by a certain time not everyone was getting in so I would suggest getting there early unless you have a table reserved. Didn’t stay until close(2am I think), but the service was really good. A couple times there was a little bit of a longer wait but overall good service. So basically ambiance and atmosphere very good, music very good, service very good, hookah good, drinks very good, food good. Overall very good 5

Went here on a Saturday night with friends from NYC. I got a 20% service charge because I ordered 4 drinks from David N. There was no sign that says there would be a service charge. We paid per drink(we would buy 1 – 2 per charge) and I’m pretty sure they put a service charge on every single charge. My friends didn’t realize that they were getting an automatic service charge and double-tipped, which is fine if it was amazing service. There was only 4 of us. Obviously, not a big party and they refused to give us a hookah on the spot we were standing at but the people standing around us all had hookahs. The bartenders kept telling us they can only give us a hookah if we were standing to the right of the bar, understandable. But at least 5 people to the left of the bar had hookahs. So we flagged down another employee and asked how we can get a hookah. His reply was, give me $ 20 cash and you can have the hookah in my hand. We didn’t even know what flavor it was. We simply settled, stayed and bought the hookah, because there aren’t any other places we could go at 1 am. Would I bring friends there again? No. Would I go there again when invited? No. Plus, I fight broke out right before they closed, it simply exudes such a lowly vibe after that. Sadly, this place could’ve gotten a lot of business from us.

This place is a piece of crap. The entire place was EMPTY but the two of us were told we could not sit because EVERYSINGLEEMPTYCOUCH was reserved… We we supposed to be ok with smoking hookah in the bar which was completely full with all the idiots that decided to actually stay at this dump. I hope they close. I wish I could give zero stars.

Too tight of a place small area. Poor service in serving hookah. Went for New Years and it was terrible.

I feel like I should’ve been bought dinner or at least a drink after the frisking and pat down I got upon arrival. It’s serious. Worse than a TSA agent. They literally grab all your dirty no-no spots, repeatedly. Yet no inspections for ladies… I feel like knowing this if anyone wanted to bring contraband into the club they’d just hand it to their lady. Do better.

Kinda a dump. Dirty couches, we came in, the whole place was practically empty, but we were told we could not sit because every unoccupied seat/table was reserved. Now, I only saw one reserved sign in the entire place, but I guess somehow the rest were reserved too. They need to figure something else out, restaurants reserve tables because they have the space to serve both walk-ins and reservations, this is a pretty tiny place, they don’t have the space.

I live in Sterling, and there aren’t many places you can go to enjoy hiphop music and dance. It’s a great spot if you don’t want to drive all the way to DC. Hooka lasted the whole night. Not a big fan of the crowd though, which is why I didn’t give this place 5 stars. Dance floor is a little small, and people are always bumping into you. Would easily return for another fun night. Didn’t try the food, but it looked appealing.

How do they have so many stars? Its ridiculously pricey and you are forced to pay a tip. Music is OK and once your in good luck finding a place to sit. A Hookah bar should always have spots to sit. Staff can be unprofessional and rude. I rather make a trip to DC… Get it together

Went with my wife and a friend and another friend joined us eventually, cool place. A little upset because I wanted a drink that was on the menu but the server said that the blender was broken and that they couldn’t make it. And also was a little upset because we were the 1st group there for maybe an hour and then people started to come and we would have to move because they’d have to reserve it for others that will eventually come. Like what the hell!!! We got there 1st before anyone. Like we should be respected and MIST should be happy they have our business. So anyways, if we wanted to stay eventually they’d have us move to a tall table BUT NOOOOooo Chairs!!! Like is that how u treat your guest & your business, Then before we left i looked over at those tall tables and there was 2 ladies that have some tall chairs that go alone with that tall table. Unbelievable. Anyways I was gunna give you all 2 stars but my friends, my wife & I had a good time before all that crap. So thank you before all that other stuff went down. Oh and 1st time doing Hookah ever, wish it could’ve been a better experience over all. :/

Security guard was very rude!!! He had he’s legs up on the rail saying people couldn’t get in. What security guard put his leg up in front of a customer. So unprofessional! They need to hire professional security guards that knows how to do there job. They let people who he knew in but not people who have been waiting. He said he had to check with some guy to make sure it was okay for people to get in but yet that guy was dancing and not doing his job. I hope they hire some professional workers!

Did you ever meet hookah place without hookah tips? That’s the place. Kabobs are really really good. Prices $ 14 – 20 each. Added a star just for those. Hookah is horrible. Looks cheap. No natural coals. No tips(they said they were out of it that day though, but for me it’s just another sign of carelessness of hookah staff) And worst part. 20% gratitude is included. And after including it, they bring you the receipt to write in tips. The place is really pricey, and they want 40% above in tips. If you want to put such prices, raise a level of staff at least. And buy some normal hookahs, not that cheap crap.

Awesome night club feel without having to metro to DC! The music is great, the atmosphere is hip, the hookahs are awesome, the drinks are strong, and the staff is attentive! There appears to be only one server, but she is all over the place catering to the tables and making sure everyone is tended to. I didn’t try any food since they ran out of hummus(which I was really in the mood for), but the menu is very enticing. Note to self: try the Baja Burger when you have a bigger appetite. Honestly, this isn’t really my scene, but I’m having a lot of fun(yes, I’m still here) and will definitely make another trip!

Horrible bar with ridiculous policies. They have the most unruly patrons that constantly have cops frequenting their parking lots. I waited for service for 15 minutes when the place was EMPTY and after hearing their outrages prices went across the street to another local lakeside bar with friendlier staff and better deals

Credit card fraud alert! I had a fun night and went home after paying our bill using my credit card. When I happened to check my credit card account a few days later, I was shocked to see that Mist had charged me ~$ 111 instead of what I had authorized($ 56). Mistakes can happen but Mist’s apparent lack of effort to fix the problem is the reason for this 1-star review. I called Mist thinking it was just a mistake and Mist would apologize and fix the incorrect charge. However, after several calls with the manager(Tomeem) and 1 week later, the money was still not credited back to my account. The worst part was that Tomeem falsely claimed that I had«broken» a hookah which was the reason why Mist had over-charged me. What complete and utter BS! At this point, I was fed up and called my bank who saw a copy of my receipt($ 56) and quickly credited me the difference. Shame on you Mist. Although you were fantastic(good hookah, crowd, music and wait staff), this sort of behavior(wrongly charging credit cards and then not fixing your mistake) is unacceptable. I would advise fellow Unilocalers to check their credit card activity to verify how much they get charged by Mist.

My husband and I went on a Saturday early(9:30pm) to order some appetizers and drinks. The staff was very accommodating and our waiter Nick took good care of us. The food was very good, the seating comfortable and the DJ spun a great mix of club music. Even though we were much older than the typical crowd here I was very happy to find a club/restaurant like this in the middle of Sterling. Definitely a place we want to return to on our next date night.

By far the most inviting hookah lounge restaurant I’ve ever visited. Not only are the people so welcoming, they really go out of their ways to show you a good time and have you leave with a great experience. Hookah? Endless possibilities and on point. Food? Delicious. Music? Some of the top DJ’s spin here all the time. You really can’t go wrong with a spot like this.

You know that feeling of excitement you get deep in your bones when your favorite restaurant or bar opens up a new location? As a hookah connoisseur, I have been looking for that favorite place to bring that ‘excitement’ back. Hookah bars keep opening their doors but it’s always the same dead air in the room, people smoking their hookahs and a sub-par food menu with a handful of appetizers. I want a REAL place! Mist does just that. The food choices are endless, a full menu comprised of, kabob platters, wraps and burgers. Your choice of appetizers, if your feeling kind of American you can settle for some ehhh! buffalo wings. If you want more of a kick to your selection there is a wide variety of international appetizers to choose from. If you have been to a nice and cozy NYC style rooftop lounge, you know the kind of place you want to tell your friends about, this is it. The ambiance is striking and the décor takes you to a posh upscale lounge in the heart of the city. The staff and bartenders are very nice, expect to wait just a bit longer on weekends for your drink because the place has more foot traffic. Other than that I will definately be going back to mist on a regular. Ohhh one more thing I forgot, the Hookah is priceless!!!
