Menchie’s

Have been here twice. It’s a lot like Sweet Frog but has a lot more room. Less flavors than sweet frog. Good frozen yogurt. Only complaint is that it has a strange elementary school cafeteria type smell inside the building.

Downgrading my review due to three issues in less than a month. First was every other flavor out including core flavors during the work week. Second no FB update but closed. Third visit closed with a post it note saying they would be back 2 maybe 2:30 and they were not back. Disappointing. Only ice cream I know but would be nice to keep Menchies nearby.

I liked it here! A++ for menchie’s good customer service, ample parking and great ice cream and selection of toppings. You should go.

Menchie’s tops our list for favorite frozen yogurt shop, and our last visit yesterday compelled us to share on Unilocal.We arrived last Saturday during their one year anniversary celebration, and we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary yogurt and entertainment. Albeit, the entertainment was for children, we enjoyed watching happy children and their parents enjoying a beautiful day. Their friendly staff, clean shop, outstanding choices of frozen yogurt (consistently creamy), and most of all, home made waffle cone in a cup make Menchie’s our favorite frozen yogurt shop — sorry Sweet Frog. We met the owners, and not only are they very nice, their pride of ownership showed during their one year anniversary celebration. They are truly a gem in the Sterling and Dulles community, and we will continue to be a loyal customer, even if that means driving over 13 miles to get there from Fairfax.

Perfect place for a birthday party — they took care of EVERYTHING for us! Coordination was super easy via Facebook. They offer different packages so you can definitely find something economical (which is rare these days for childrens parties!). They also had two party facilitators who were great with the kids. Thanks for everything!

We’ve visited Menchies about half a dozen times now and love it (we’ve been a long time Sweet Frog fan).
It’s in a weird location but the frozen yogurt is some of the best I’ve ever had!
From the awesome flavors to the easily accessible toppings (adults will appreciate not having to reach under an incredibly low glass sneeze shield to awkwardly try to scoop out toppings.
This is going to sound bizzare but their disposable spoons are pretty awesome.

This place is often closed dirimg normL operating hours! I dont know why they can’t keep a schedule. I understand when there is bad weather, but I have been there on several occasions on good days and it’s closed!
They juat lost my business.

This is a busy shopping center and parking was a bit of challenge. One truck made their own parking spot which was rude but I don’t put past that I’m this area.
I have been to another location in Fairfax and the stores provide you with the same set up so no surprised there accept maybe current flavors available.
Be aware this is pay by ounces fro yogurt. The lighter the topping the more you can get for your dollar. My hubby never follows this rule and his always cost over $ 6.

Sorry, Menchie’s, I love you but I have to dole out a (hopefully temporary) star demotion.
There was a flavor that came out just as straight liquid last time I visited AND two other flavors were completely out.
Several of the toppings (mostly the pump-​action ones at the end) were also completely out.
It was like a game of «so what IS there?»

Usually come for my froyo fix. They close at 9:00pm got here at 8:50 & they were cleaning machines already all yogurt was melted or melting and not good. Closing at 9: does not mean walking out at that time.

FORGET Sweet Frog, Zingas, or any other frozen yogurt place out there. Menchie’s is WHERE IT’S ALL AT! Let’s start with, they provide tasting cups — brilliant! The flavors are very unique, and borderline genius! Oreo cookies, salted caramel pretzels, and even their simpler flavors like cheesecake and strawberry tastes amazing.
The toppings are categorized so you can easily skip out on the ones you don’t like. Plus, it’s all covered with lids to keep it fresh. The ambiance is very nice with music playing at all times. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I really enjoyed the selection here. Different than most of the other places I have been. Lots of different unique flavors. I have been to most of the other places, but this is the best in my opinion. Yogurt tasted great, great toppings, different flavors!

I have only been there once, but everyone loved it. Everything was clean, and the various flavors of yogurt were quite delicious. I agree with others that is is probably the best of the local frozen yogurt chains in NOVA.
It’s definitely worth a second trip, which I will be making thia afternoon!
