The place was packed and i got friendly, quick service and a delicious breakfast. I ordered the lonestar — i think — and they substituted meat for a medley of veggies for me. Their pancakes were scrumptious as well. Also the location is beautiful — treat yourself and go!

Small place, service was okay(she never brought back the hot sauce I requested and hubby had to get up to get his own syrup). Pancakes were fabulous. Hubby wasn’t crazy about corn beef hash. I got the Mexican breakfast bowl — I have had better, but this one was a solid 4 out of 5. Good for a quick breakfast if you are in the area(I wouldn’t go out of my way to stop there unless we were nearby), bathrooms clean.

Really fresh food. Got one of Gary’s bowls, really good. Pancakes are light and fluffy, yum.

Nice place. I am tempted not to say to many good things because I want to keep it for myself, but I must divulge. I had the ‘Lonely American’ — it is called this because the American comes with sausage and bacon whereas the Lonely comes with sausage OR bacon. I chose crispy bacon with scrambled eggs and home fries. It came with a choice of toast or pancakes. Well, I could not resist the pancakes since it is part of the restaurant’s name. Unlike other places that give you ‘scrambled’ eggs that resemble an empty omelet, these were fat and fluffy like the kind your Mom makes. They tasted fresh. The home fries were delicious and lightly seasoned and not overwhelmed by onions. The bacon could have been a little crispier but it also had flavor and was meaty. The pancakes were just awesome. Could have had a little better brand of syrup to go with the awesomeness but overall it was good. My husband had the meat lovers breakfast bowl that could have used a little gravy on top for a binder but he still enjoyed it because of the good flavor of the mix. The place is very small but if there is a wait, it will be worth it.

This place did not disappoint! Great food! Had the pancakes, fried pickles, fresh onion rings and cheeseburger with an egg! Don’t know who Granny is but her food was awesome!

Was so disappointed. They charge for every little thing. 25 cents for a glass of water, then they didn’t even put chips or a pickle on my plate with my sandwich. Not worth the time or money. Would never go back.

This place is phenomenal. Our server Jessica was the best. The pancakes were really good and my favorite part is they actually know how to make good crispy scrapple. That’s a rarity. Atmosphere was friendly and open. Seating is kinda limited but no one ever made us feel rushed. Definitely going back.

Breakfast: taste just like home. Fluffy pancakes and French toast. Healthy options available as well. I tried the egg white omelette, which was delicious. The place also offered us great black coffee with free refills. Service: the people were friendly and very attentive. We felt very welcomed. Extras: can enjoy breakfast and watch the morning news. Very clean. Location: Main Street as cool to wonder around afterwards. Try the antique stores afterwards and check out the small historical cemetery.

My new favorite!!! I love love love this place!!! The food is yummy and made to order. The waitresses are always courteous & efficient. The food is always excellent the portion sizes are perfect also. The environment is very cozy clean and welcoming. Granny’s has become an almost every day thing for me now. It’s just what Stephens City needed and I hope they never leave.
