Caveat Emptor… Kevin friendly-​absolutely. However, in my opinion that’s where his professional proficiencies end. (Kevin-​Sound Pest Solutions)
We discussed the eradication of rodents in my crawlspace, and assessing & blocking their entry points. (He established a price.) We agreed. He then laid poison; but he was unable to find any rodent entry points into the crawlspace… Really! It’s important to note that he did not alter his original price.
Within 24 hr.‘s I had another professional assess the project… they found seven separate entry points of the rodents into my crawlspace. Hmmmm!
Kevin’s response to the above findings, «I am very good at what I do but even the best are not 100%.» (Really Kevin… seven separate entry points!)

Kevin’s been out to my apartment in two seperate occasions. (Two different apartments). Each time the results are great. It’s quick and efficient: he is super friendly and the most inexpensive pest control I’ve found. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

I needed a pest control company to deal with my carpenter ant situation and wanted to find a smaller, locally owned business so I went to Unilocal.I found Sound Pest Management to be just what I was looking for and since he also had great reviews I knew Kevin was the person I wanted for the job. He was very informative, friendly and came out the same day! He checked out the inside, outside and underneath (crawl space) of my home to find out where the ants were nesting. He also determined that I have a rodent problem under my house and gave me advice for keeping them at bay. I will continue to use Sound Pest Management every 3 months to keep my pests away!

I discovered Sound Pest through a Groupon. I was planning to have them check out some ants, but before I could do that we had a flood in our basement and found a bunch a creepy crawlies behind a rotted wall.
It turns out they were moisture-​seeking termites. I didn’t even know such a thing existed! Kevin, the owner, came out and took care of the problem.
Kevin is great — he is that mix of knowledgeable and friendly you hope for when you have services around the home and — if you’re like me– don’t know too much. He explained clearly what was going on, showed me the termites’ «gallery», explained how the treatment would work in an easy to understand way.
His prices seem very reasonable. I haven’t had a lot of pest work done — I used my Groupon to cover this visit, it was less than $ 150 to have him check out my basement, treat, and he even came by twice! He said it would be about the same for the ants. I thought it would be much more than that!
He also talked to me about the ants I originally planned to call about, and allayed my concerns that they might be doing damage during the winter. I’ll be having him out in Spring to catch any ants that try to vacation here this year!
He’s a local guy, born and raised. Give him a call if you have critters! I’m a fan!
