Miller House Bed and Breakfast Inn

My mother and I took a trip to Staunton and stayed at this B&B for one night on our visit.
This B&B is an amazing beautiful 10,000 sq. foot Victorian Mansion right in downtown Staunton! We stayed in Chamber 1. The room was large and spacious with a king sized canopy-​style wooden bed and it’s own private bathroom (shower).
The house boasts a beautiful wooden hand-​carved winding staircase which greets you just a few steps from the front entrance.
The owners of the home, Pam and Ray were warm and hospitable. They had tea at 4 pm and a tray of freshly baked cookies sat out throughout the evening for snacking. There was nothing we needed that they hadn’t thought of. Even toiletries like an extra toothbrush, soaps, and a sewing kit were left in our bathroom for our convenience. There are no televisions in the bedrooms, which were not a problem for us.
This house is in a perfect location. Two blocks from downtown Staunton (where all the antique stores, restaurants, shopping is) and right down the street from Woodrow Wilson’s birthplace.
Everything about this B&B was wonderful and the breakfast was no exception! We were greeted by Pam and lead into the dining room where the table was set with the most beautiful china. The first course was poached pair nestled in a warm oatmeal crisp. The second course was an egg and cheese soufflé, bacon, and a cinnamon raisin scone. We were also served juice with our coffee. We were offered more bacon but couldn’t finish another bite.
This B&B is a true gem and I can’t wait to stay here again soon!
