Bigshow’s Burgers

Horrible establishment. Burger was undercooked, and had to send it back. The waitress was rude, and never came to ask for refills. The place smells like a dumpster and there are flies everywhere. You’re better off going to the McDonald’s down the road.

This «restaurant» is a nightmare. As soon as you walk in the door, you can smell how filthy it is. I have never left this place satisfied. The first time I visited, we went specifically for wings. After ordering drinks, we were told that they were out of wings, so we left. Not a big deal, but disappointing. Deciding to give them another shot, I visited again with a party of 4. After seating ourselves, we waited for over 5 minutes to place our drink orders and request menus. Another 5 minutes before we got our drinks (sodas and waters, nothing fancy) and ordered our food. We overheard our server tell another party that there was a 30 minute wait for food, so we decided to order an appetizer. This was the last time we saw our server for over 45 minutes. No drink refills, no appetizer, and no apologies. Our appetizer finally came out at the exact same time as our meal, again with no apologies, just food thrown onto the table and our server was gone again. The burger was okay at best. The bun was cold and as hard as a rock. Even if this place did have the best food in the ‘boro, I would not be back. I’d much rather spend my money at Gnat’s, or even Gata’s.

The waitress never came back around for refills. After waiting 10 minutes with an empty drink, I finally went to the bar & asked her for a refill. She said to hold on a sec & kept on messing with the cash drawer. Then answered the phone. Finally after a few more minutes of being ignored, I asked another server for a refill. Then waited another 10 minutes for our ticket. There was only one other table there so not sure why she was too busy to check on us. The place was basically empty (I can see why.) After we got home, my husband & I both are sick. Wondering if we have food poisoning. Will never be back. The other location near Magic Mushroom was way better but they shut it down. I’m betting this location will follow shortly.

New location means everything has changed! What used to be a great hamburger joint is now just another bar with bar-​quality food. Too bad. Used to be one of the Boro’s best. Don’t waste your time money here.

Alumni burger may just be one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, real talk! Two grilled cheese sandwiches for the buns with bacon, sauce, pickles and 100% All American beef. Very unhealthy but its worth it haha. Looks a lot better more of a full var experience on the inside compared to the former Does Primos.

This place is really disappointing now, burger was greasy, cold and small. They had 2 locations, the one by hospital closed and hear this one is going to also. I can see why. Management is terrible.

The location across from the football stadium is extremely enjoyable. I had amazing burger and great service. The bar staff actually had a very wide knowledge of their drinks and beer which is rare in Statesboro. Coming here again as soon as I can.

Great location with amazing burgers. Big Shows was clean with a friendly staff. Didn’t have any issues with my meal, but I did think it was a little over-​priced. The bar staff was well-​trained and had quick service. I would totally go back.

Just recovering from the bad attitude the waiter had because One of the burgers wasn’t done right we can help it don’t eat here Because they sell frozen burgers extremely high price all I can say is I’m never coming back well considering our server had half a brain cell

Closed this location. Now only available at their bar Restraunt on 200 Lanier Drive. Hate to see it go since I don’t like the bar atmosphere.

Was a little worried at first based in the size of the place. It is buried in the middle of a shopping center surrounded by doctors offices. But after I bit into the «Little Show» hamburger I knew I had found it. I added pimento cheese and sirracha ketchup to make this burger perfect! This is defiantly a stop I will make again.

Review is for location on Lanier. I had a really dumb server which definitely hampered the experience. What really surprised me about this place is that my server said I couldn’t order my burger cooked a certain way because they were already in a frozen cooked state. I ordered the Garden Burger (or some similarly named item) «spring mix» is included in the description but it didn’t specifically say it was lettuce so I thought I’d double check this with my server. She told me it was some type of vinaigrette dressing but lo and behold when I got my burger it had spring mix lettuce on it. I don’t have a problem with lettuce but at this point I realized the level of intelligence I was dealing with… the burger tasted… okay…same goes for the fries. Another person at my table ordered his burger with no pickles and of course got pickles. The interior of the restaurant isn’t particularly inviting and I didn’t feel like I was eating anywhere special but it did look clean. On the other hand, if you like girls in low cut shirts and don’t mind paying good money for a less than mediocre burger this is the place for you. Other places to consider if you have a burger craving: Gnat’s Landing (they will cook it medium!) or Cook Out (will have a smokey flavor and cheap as mess).

This place was recommended by 40 East Grill (where I truly enjoy their food). What a disappointment! I ordered a veggie burger w sautéed onions, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado and horseradish mayo w sweet potato fries. It was quickly served but completely wrong-​no onions, no mayo and the burger was cold! However the sweet potato fries were delicious.

Great place for a quick burger! Great food and service! Took the family and had a great time. Service with a smile! Love it!

Awesome. Portion sizes were large, burgers full of flavor and juicy! We will be back!

I agree with first review, the hamburgers taste great, sauces are out of this world, but the portion size of hamburgers are small. Not very big. Also, need to add more to side items.
