Let me first say that I am not very picky about hair cut and usually it is fine with me. So I walked in and asked for any master. The good part was that I didn’t wait long. But the hair cut was made so untidy and in a hurry that it become even obvious to me. Hear near one of my ear was longer than near the other, on a side I saw steps, front was uneven. I would better go to Brooklyn and cut my hair for $ 10 in some cheap place than pay $ 20 for the very unprofessional work.

Great barbershop. Upon entering I was greeted by a very nice young looking girl who immediately set me up with a barber which I waited about 10 – 15 minutes for. Sports on the TV’s and EDM music playing through the speakers had put me in a good mood. Mike was the barber who cut my hair and I cannot complain at all. Very nice guy, started up conversation and had me in and out in no time. Left satisfied and will go there again for sure!

This is a barbershop and it is 2014, I don’t come here expecting excellent customer service, I come here to get a fantastic haircut, hear the barbers(whom all have their own customer base I presume) talk shit to each other while either rap music is playing or sports are on the many TV’s. The owner is a good guy as are the barbers, especially mike, he’s great. So, if you are looking for that old timey experience with your haircut, maybe try sports clip or the mall and see if that place lives up to its name.

I can honestly say I agree with almost all the other reviews. They can seem rude when you first walk in. But from my experience it’s cause there are younger men that work there 21 – 25 maybe. But the haircuts are done well. They deffinetly take there time and I was happy with my experience.

WORSTBARBERSHOPINNY. DONOTGOHERE!!! My usual barber(Angel) was on vacation and I really needed a cut. So I decided to try this place. My friend had recommended it and advised me to go to Johnny(guy that is usually wearing a hat, tattoos and has a chin strap.) But said everyone’s good if Johnny is booked. I walked in and sat down. The first barber there(johnny I think) asked if I wanted a cut from anyone? And I said sure. So I waited and waited and waited. Johnny had appointments which I understand, my previous barber did the same. So the only other barber working was Matt. He gives his customer a cut and sits down !!! Really? I thought he had an appointment or something. I end up waiting an hour when Johnny curses at Matt because there’s 3 other people sitting there for cuts. I end up in the seat with Matt he seems to be a nice guy starts a conversation. I was getting a skin tape up and wanted my beard shaped up and cut to a #2. So Matt gives me the cut. Starts off by bringing down my hair to the #4 I requested. Then he shapes the top part of the beard(part on the cheeks just a straight line) and then he takes the clothe off me. Done! I’m just confused to what he’s doing and he says $ 15. I’m just trying to comprehend what happen because I asked for a skin tape up with my beard shaped up but the only thing I got was a machine ran over my head and that’s it. Where’s the skin shape up part? Or the beard part? He didn’t even use a razor to box my forehead or shape up my beard. The part under my jaw was still there and he didn’t box the chin part so I tell him wtf is this? He says that’s what you wanted and I’m like«No its not you didn’t give me a skin tape up where’s the skin part and I asked for my beard to be shaped up. I waited an hour for a crap haircut that I could have done better at home?» So I was extremely pissed didn’t want to argue anymore handed him $ 15 and left. Never going to this place ever again.

I have been going to Armando since they opened on Richmond Ave near Casale Tile. He has been cutting my hair on the money for the last 13 years. When I come in there, he knows who I am and he knows what cut I get. If he is not there I don’t go to another chop shop or a different barber. It’s a barber shop and they do what barber shops do.

Great service. Most of these barber shops the guys are more concerned about their cell phone and lunch. Have had 3 great experiences here already

One of the few barber shops open 7 days a week. The few times that I have been here, there has been no wait. The barbers are pretty good, not excellent. You get your monies worth in this place.

We live on the island about a year and a half now, came from Brooklyn. I have two boys and we went to a couple of places for hair cuts and they did a bad job… plus the boys needed a barber not a hair salon! lol. so we went to whos next and the boys seen matty a few times and he does great hair cuts EVERYTME! Even when matty is booked up or busy when we walk in we sometimes go to whoever is avail. they always give them a great cut … plus my 10 and 8 yr old get to feel like the big boys … thats a plus for me being as my kids father is not around to take them for cuts ! Thanks Whos next for making my boys barber experience a great one. see you soon!

After going to different barbershops around the island, my friend recommended Who’s Next Barber Shop. He called his barber while I was standing there and had an appointment within the next twenty minutes. From the minute you walk into the location you get the feel of that community barbershop(Just like the movie). Everybody is talking, joking and having a good time. My barber there is Johnny Boy(Don’t let the name discourage you), he treats you like you are the only person in the world getting a haircut. Especially since this was my first time in the location, that feeling got me comfortable and I am not one who really enjoys going to get haircuts. This was years ago since that very first visit. The place is still the best barbershop on Staten Island. I travel from the city, to go to this barbershop because I couldn’t find anybody to match the talents of Johnny Boy. It doesn’t matter if you know the type of haircut you want, or just looking for a change. He is very good at understanding your head(If you have a cowlick), to what you are looking for in style. If you walk in, just ask for him and he will be glad to find a barber that could take care of you.
