White Castle

Ah White Castle… The one food so bad for you it’s good. The one food I can only have a few times of year with adequate space in between to let my stomach recuperate. But enough about my issues. This White Castle is well a White Castle good service good food. The only reason I didn’t give five stars to this place is basically the fact that it’s fast food delicious evil fast food and let’s face it these chains need updating with all of the other fast food chains doing extensive rebranding I think White Castle needs to step up

I’m giving this White Castle 4 stars because their staff is always polite and accommodating! I couldn’t believe how positive this one girl in the drive thru was a few weeks ago when I drove in to grab some chicken rings.
I was in a bad mood that day and she made my day after I realized «if her state of mind can be this positive working the drive thru at White Castle then I really have no excuse to be mad today!» The parking lot/​drive thru is a bit tight to get into but nothing some decent maneuvering can’t help.
Today I went again and the manager was very friendly as well as having a great personality. The food is still going to be the same White Castle at other locations but that’s not the point. It’s how friendly their staff has been each time I have went to the drive thru. Not much for eating inside there but grabbing a quick bite before work is convenient at this location and they have great customer service.
This may not seem like a big deal to some but for a fast food joint this is epic. Especially when you compare it to the shitbags that work at the other White Castle on Hylan Boulevard. What a dumpy set of miserable people that work there. It’s such an interesting contrast to the Forest Ave location. All fast food places can take a lesson from this White Castle’s staff, they have the right idea.

I am sorry I was very disappointed with my experience at this shop. Although the layout isn’t their fault to an extent. The mangers must have been really desperate to open the chain store at this location. How the city approve a drive though that’s accessed through a parking lot which is very tight already to get into? Come to think of why don’t you just take the drive through out? Or move over to another lot? Their bathrooms were dirty and wasn’t clean. I ended up getting out and going into the ladies room to use the bathroom (seriously!) The cashiers were helpless. All too busy with the drive through and not caring about the walk-​in (i was waiting to long so I decided to park and go in). She took the order and messed it up also. Jalapeños came back regular and not even spicy at all! Top it off I asked for water. She gave me a large fountain cup and filled it up from the fountain. Serious? I said sorry I want a bottle. She said they don’t have it. I wanted my money back. She offered me more burgers and didn’t do the refund. I was still thirsty. Said I quit drinking soda and sugared drinks for 3 years now. The happy meal for the kids included a boxed Apple juice. You wanna know they did have that either! The burgers were horrible! Soggy and wet. She made them and serviced them and served me like I seriously shouldn’t have came to their shop. I won’t come back! I will drink the distance to a better castle even though this was around the corner. I am disappointed seriously! Call the district manager please!

Great mini sliders! Always tastes better in store than the frozen ones from supermarket — mainly the bread (the ones from super market all have this wrinkled surface… for whatever reason, not fluffy :((((().

Like this place and it’s clean better then the one that used to be in bay st ate here couple of times not disappointed at all.

I’m not really a huge fan of White Castle but this might be the worst White Castle I ever been. I waited in line because there was only one cash air and he was handling the drive though as well. After finally getting the food my friend told me that the bun alittile wet I think that crazy to have a wet bun in a fast food restaurant makes no sense and make the other White Castle look so bad it’s a big no no to me !

So I pitched in with some coworkers to buy a bunch of these sliders. They came in sets of 20 or you can buy what’s called a briefcase and get 100. We ended up buying two 20 set boxes off cheese and non cheese sliders and some french fries. I was warned that there would be some aftermath in the restroom if you ate enough of them. The taste was pretty good, it reminded me of a McDonalds cheeseburger but slightly more greasy. I honestly don’t see what the hype is about White Castle but if I ever wanted to sober up after a night of drinking it would more than likely be here.

lawdhammercy, if it isn’t radiance of the Big Apple that kidnaps me from the west side, it’s gonna be these White Castle burgers.

White castle always gets love and hate lol from it’s customers!!! If you crave it shut up and eat it, and pay the price, but stop trashing the place

Gotta love «belly bombers»! One hint, dont come here hungry as the wait time is long. Come BEFORE you get hungry because the food will come just in time for you to snack in the car ride home.

I have long heard of White Castle but never had one since there aren’t any in California. So of course when I went to visit New York on a trip, I had to try it out and see what all the hype was about. I had to admit it wasn’t really a fair experience when I tried it though. We brought it fresh on our way and didn’t eat it until a few hours later after it being microwaved.
I had their Jalapeño Cheeseburger. It was good. Yummy. It’s got a special flavor to it, but nothing that I would go crazy about. Perhaps b/​c it wasn’t fresh??? Also, it had way too much ketchup that I wasn’t too fond about for sucha little burger, I was barely able to get pass the sourness from the ketchup.
Anyhow, I’m willing to give White Castle burgers another try and make sure I’ll eat them fresh-​made next time.
