Never had a bad meal. Service outstanding, food consistent in freshness, and quality. This is the place we come to for our family get togethers. I doubt you will be disappointed, give it a try. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I think people would not believe my review. The last meal I had and two other family members was the salmon. In my opinion, the best way to tell if a restaurant is doing it right is the fish. Fresh, and cooked right. If a restaurant take the time to purchase good quality fish then that tells me they take the time to look for quality everywhere.

No it wasn’t I appreciate the reply but I’m not a bad person just about business. I’ve been here a few times and picked up alot. You can only order Chinese and pizza so much. We’ve repeatedly tried. To the point we didn’t even wanna go but family invited us and we didn’t wanna turn Them down or suggest another place. But it’s fine trust me I’ve spent enough there. But honestly it’s a nice looking place. But that girl with blonde hair in pony tail was very nice but not all there. God bless her. and I haven’t too many things there usually burger pasta etc. But all not worth the prices. Please change the menu up a Lil I’d love to keep going. …

Can’t believe I haven’t come here sooner! Before I get into the food, the atmosphere is great, extremely CLEAN and I love the MUSIC! Their menu left me indecisive for a while (which is always a good sign) but I went with the escarole and beans with some grated parm sprinkled on top which was fabulous! And the dessert was amazing!!! Needless to say, I’ll be back!

The happy hour from 4 – 7 weekdays is a must with an Interesting group of regular patrons and a great team of bartenders.
Food choices are plentiful, from great steaks to delicious Italian and my favorite, the seafood choices. The red zuppa di mussels are the absolute best anywhere. There’s always an interesting selection of specials running the gamut from Italian to seafood of various kinds.
Saving the best for last, this is the place to go for pizza, best clam pie on the island hands down!
Come on by and say hi to Mark, Jeannie, Lisa and Ayana and the rest of the staff. Hope to see you here soon, I’ll be the guy at the end of the bar…

Ordered the burger which is $ 13.50 with fries.
Small cosctco like patty, stale piece of bacon and the worst part, a 5cent wonderbread bun.
come on? Charge me, all that money and serve me a burger below a diner standard?
Place looks really nice. Food left much to be desired.

Honestly, I haven’t been here in a good 20 years and I went last night with my family. I ordered baby back ribs tasted horrible the waitress tells me it’s there own sauce it takes like it came from a dollar store I swear. Asparagus and Sangria was good. I think they are only good for pizza. Waitress too much wanting to go home telling us clams would take 30min meanwhile didn’t. Who says that to customers? Like if you don’t want to be there go home. My husband said the food made him constipated will be the first and last time going there. Don’t waste your money! Go to Real Madrid for what your going to pay you will get a lot more for your money. This is for the Roadhouse

Went on Friday nite at 7:05 for a quick meal we ordered two appetizers and two pizzas at 7:40 the small pizza came out still no appetizers at 7:50 we were served the two appetizers at 7:58 the other pizza came out cold I always thought that appetizers were first. We asked for check only to hear waitress lie and say the large cheese pie was 18.00 instêd of 13.00 needless to say will never go back food was not good at all

This place is just awful. First, I got the wrong salad which was swimming in dressing. Secondly, my partner and I had the specials; eggplant rollatini and prime rib which were both bad. The eggplant was cold and the pasta that came with it had a bad jar sauce taste. The prime rib was mostly fat and inedible. The servers are sweet but too young and inexperienced. It gets two stars because the martinis were good; although a twist of lemon was actually a wedge. Maybe the pizza is good. I’ll never know since I will not go back.

While the food is great, the way they have the party room set up is atrocious. It is off the dining room and every time the doors to the party room is open you are blasted with extremely loud music. We asked our waitress if it were possible to keep the door closed and she looked afraid to ask. I understand we are not paying as much as a party, but we are still paying patrons. Will definitely never return and would not recommended this restaurant to anyone. They need to rethink the layout and somehow separate parties from guests who are eating.

Pretty basic, nothing special. Their clam pie tastes like its canned. Also a bit dry. Also had a chicken dish, again nothing special. Wouldn’t go back. Plenty of better Italian restaurants around.

It was ok. I think u expected more that’s why I left disappointed the pizza did not taste like it had fresh sauce but commercial prepared. The broccoli salad was good I hope it was just a bad night I will try it again.

My family and friends went to the Roadhouse after my son’s 8th grade graduation at Wagner College. Atmosphere is great, food was very good but our server seemed a little overwhelmed. Of the 10 seated, 2 had to send their plates back because it wasn’t what they ordered, and one of the two sent it back a third time when they got it wrong again.
All in all though, I’d go back again — their hot pepper, shitake mushroom and sausage pizza is outrageous!

We stopped at The Road House to avoid traffic during rush hour and we were surprised at the quality of food. We ordered a white pie it was perfect. The atmosphere was nice and the entire place was very clean. The waitress was attentive prompt. Overall great experience.

Came here for a surprise 60th birthday party and we all had a great time in their private party room upstairs. Clam pie was awesome! Even my husband, who’s not a fish eater loved it. Great flavor and crispy crust! We were given a platter of antipasto served on top of lettuce and no bread, strange., my pasta with vodka sauce was dry, but the bite i stole from my husbands dish was good. My veal was ok… maybe just need to try other items on the menu. Nothing was bad, but just ok… Except the clam pie! That was excellent!

I celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday. It was a small group but the manager still have us the back room which is very large and had a fireplace which he put on for ambiance. The food was great. the service was great. We had a fantastic time, especially my mom!

Beautiful Italian American restaurant with history behind it. Food here is great! You can tell the ingredients are of high quality and the owner cares about his business. Been here few times and the food is always delicious and consistent. Nice selection of seafood and steaks. The place has a nice bar area with TVs and cozy fireplaces which is great during the cold winter months. I also like that it has its own parking but during the weekends it gets busy. Overall, Road House is a great spot if you would like get dinner or come here for the games.
