This subway sucks. And although it is probably the closest subway store to my house, I’ll go to a subway further away to avoid this place. ALOT of problems with this place. then basically 1 day, I told the owner this place sucks and I can’t come here any more lol. This place has been open for a long time. Way back in the day, when I was a teen, I went to a baseball game with a friend, and the ticket stub had a coupon for a free sub at subway. Me and my friend walked all the way here, and they wouldn’t accept it. This place is extremely cheap. Another time I came here with a friend, and we were ordering the $ 5 foot long sandwhiches. So I ordered mine, a BLT which was under the $ 5 menu. My friend ordered the same thing, but he wasn’t really paying attention when the guy purposely asked him with an accented voice«you want the BMT right?» so my friend says yes, not fully understanding the guy. the guy then charges my friend $ 8 instead of $ 5, for virtually the same sandwhich as mine, because he ordered a «BMT» which wasn’t on the $ 5 menu instead of a «BLT». The guy then refused to change the price. I ordered a 6 inch sandwhich for like $ 4 one time, and asked if I can add just a little bit of a topping that didn’t come custom with the sandwhich, and the guy tells me it will cost $ 1.50. $ 1.50 to add 1 topping to a $ 4 sandwhich? that’s almost a 50% increase for 1 tiny topping. The final thing came when I came here with my gf. I ordered a $ 5 foot long sandwhich that had a few toppings in it. My gf, all she wanted, was bread with lettuce and grilled chicken in it. That’s it, no cheese, no other toppings, nothing else, the sandwhich was virtually empty compared to my sandwhich which costed $ 5. So I askd the manager if she can order a $ 5 foot long, and just minus every topping out of it, and add chicken. The guy wouldn’t let us do this. So basically I had to pay $ 8, for a piece of bread with lettuce and a few pieces of grilled chicken in it. so we get the sandwhich, we get home, and realize the guy literally barely put any grilled chicken at all in it. So now the sandwhich is a piece of bread and lettuce. I went back to the store and demanded to return this sandwhich. I paid for the whole order on credit card, and the guy didn’t know how to refund just the 1 sandwhich so he wound up giving me a cash refund for just this 1 sandwhich. Bottom line: this place is very cheap, and grimey.

Probably the worst Subway on the island. The employees and the manager here are just plain incompetent. As far as I can tell the manager, his wife and son are the only employees here. They all have very thick Indian accents, which is fine since both of my parents are immigrants as well, but it just adds to the confusion of placing an order at this place. Earlier today it took the lady a solid 5 minutes of looking for the bread I wanted only to tell me that they didn’t have any. But they did, the other employee overheard her and was able to get the bread in 4 seconds. The rest of the sandwich making process wasn’t much better. I ordered a subway melt, which is Ham, Bacon, Turkey and a melted cheese. She forgot the cheese. The other sandwich was a meatball marinara, as I was paying the cashier(also manager) picked up the bag my sandwiches were in and held them up vertically. You can’t do that with a meatball sub, everything gets crushed down to one side because you know… gravity. The last time I was there I had the pleasure of witnessing an interaction between the manager and another customer. The customer wanted a turkey, ham and pastrami sandwich. The fact that this is not a subway pre-designed sandwich confused both the manager and the sandwich maker. The manager kept telling him that this is not a real sandwich and that it would cost an extra $ 6 to put pastrami on the sandwich. Finally the guy gave up and seceded to the managers will. During that same visit a foreign elderly man walked into the store and said the following: «My wife make order. 2 egg roll, sweet and sour chicken, and …» before he can finish the manager burst out in some very racist things about Chinese people and kept repeating«I make subway sandwiches, I’m Indian. Do I look chinese?». There is a Chinese place right next door, that’s all he had to say. Not go into a 3 minute speech about race. The sandwiches weren’t bad though. Same quality as other Subways, you just have to watch them closely so the don’t mess something up.
