Staten Island Ophthalmology

Staten Island Ophthalmology is an outstanding practice! The entire staff, from entrance to examination, are exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming. This office is the only medical facility I have ever visited where they actually schedule efficiently and the wait is very short, if at all. They obviously take the patients schedule into consideration which is practically non-​existent at other doctor’s offices. I have had cataract surgery for both eyes. The entire experiences were nothing short of perfect! Their Somerset Eye Institute is an excellent facility as well. Clearly Dr. Kung and his staff put great care and thought into their patient’s care and needs. I am delighted to wholeheartedly recommend and compliment Staten Island Opthalmology!

The office and waiting rooms are impeccably clean and well kept. It’s an actual office building, not out of a «home» which is so common in Staten Island.
Everyone is so friendly, the receptionists, to Dr’s assistants to the Dr’s themselves.
I went in for a vision test as well as had my eyes dilated to check up on the health of my eyes. Every step was explained to me. Before my visit was over the Dr. left plenty of time for me to ask about any questions or concerns I had.
