I approached him about a focus problem I had my whole life. I had explained that it took me 4+ hours a night to do my homework during my elementary school days. I was telling him that I was not performing to my abilities. He asked me how many Regents exams I’d passed, and he literally laughed in my face when I explained that I was a college graduate in a graduate program. Apparently, he doesn’t think it would be possible to have a neurodevelopmental disorder if you can get that far in school. However, I went to another neuropsychologist and got an interesting diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder, and this attributed to my focus problems(which were confirmed though testing). Had I listened to this disgraceful quack, I would be struggling. A real doctor helped me get the proper coaching and treatment. Dr. Weiss is a true disgrace to medicine, and I would never recommend him for anything.
