I have had 2 surgeries performed and each time the results were great and everything in my life resumed to normal. The staff is helpful and they handle insurance work properly and timely. I do not like being a repeat customer but when I need orthopedic care this is where I will go and recommend.

The staff is rude & unpleasant. You’ll wait for at least an hour after your scheduled appointment time, to only be seen for less than five minutes. If you have to get X-rays you’ll end up waiting again for about 45 mins to see the doctor. I’ve had them call on two different occasions to reschedule my appointment since the doctor wasn’t going to be in, and they wanted me to wait another few weeks for an appointment when I had already waited at least 6 weeks to begin with. The staff sent me with someone else’s prescription and then gave me attitude when I came back for mine. Dr. Giovinazzo is condescending and doesn’t take adequate notes to be able to know accurate progress in between appointments. I had him tell me I needed surgery, then that I didn’t, and then that I did again. Him flip flopping on his decisions in my treatment left me with zero confidence in his decision making. I’m so glad I left and found a great doctor because they’re the worst practice ever.

It’s been a week and I’m still angry. Waiting time to see the doctor: 4 hours. Horrific experience. I’ve been here 2 times over the past 4 years, and both times the wait was one of the longest on the planet. Why didn’t I leave? Possibly, because I and the injured human I was with were desperate. Dr. Giovinazzo, while seemingly capable and possibly well meaning, was indifferent to the seriousness of the injury at hand. Reducing the bad fracture that she had to a joke, he informed us that the joint will have to be replaced, and scheduled the surgery in TWO weeks. The surgeon that we went to the day after for a second opinion, saved it – no need for replacement. The staff in this waiting room is apathetic and slow. The space between chairs is too small leaving the people with crutches too little space to navigate freely. AWFUL place. Stay away if you have a serious injury.
