A restaurant that you have to visit. The staff is as phenomenal as the food. The pizza is also incredible a must try! Enjoy!!!

Very good but very expensive. They have a good buffalo slice. The parking lot is also about the size of my driveway. If they had a better parking id probably go more often.

Small space but very, very friendly. Their specialty pies are to die for! Nothing beats their grandma or honey dijon slices. Never did sit down, but I know they offer it. Their gelato is also much better than I expected for what appears to be a typical pizzeria. Would recommend to anyone.

In a hurry I stopped in to grab a rice ball and opted to heat it at home. My sons were out and I was looking forward to a nice quiet dinner; arugula salad… glass of red. Wow was I surprised when I cut it in half to find a very tight ball of YELLOW rice. SAFFRON?(NOTWHITERICE W TOMATOSAUCE) An extremely unflavored rice ball even though there was a teaspoon of meat and peas. WAIT… there were no peas! For $ 5 for this little surprise I expect some gooey delishness and what I received was a Mexican cooks version of a rice ball. Somebody send in an Italian Gramdma to teach you how to make a Rice Ball with or without meat! That would be Napolitan or Sicilian. 1 star is for the rice ball… not their pizza which is way overpriced.

I tried going to ‘The Square’ next door, but couldn’t find any parking spots. I parked in the open lot in front of Mona Lisa… Only to find out that my car will be towed unless I’m a customer of Mona Lisa. So like a normal person, I got pizza from both The Square and Mona Lisa… I have to say, Mona Lisa is pretty gross. Either share your parking spots with the good pizza place next door or change your recipe.

OVERPRICEDGARBAGE I called for a large cheese pie and a can of coke and the lady on the phone said the price real quickly and it sounded like $ 18 and then she hung up, I called back and asked how much was the order she said $ 18.75 I said for what a large pie ridiculous place ripping you off what ever happened to $ 1.50 slices it’s not that expensive to make pizza

Pretty decent pizzeria. Granda slices, are awesome. Also love the chichen on garlic knot bread and Brooklyn slice. Minus 1 star for not accepting debit/credit cards. Much better than The Square which is almost next door.

Why yes, this IS the best pizza I’ve had.(specialty slices) Get the Gold Medal. If you’re in the area, make room for a slice.

Pizza is good the employees don’t do the right thing though, you go in there late before they close ur starving they say there closed and can’t ring you up but have pizzia and rather throw it out. They like to tow cars in there lot cause there’s a pizzia place right next door.

I was expecting a lot from this place, after all it was rated 1 of the 10 best pizzerias on staten island by the staten island advance. For my first foray to any new restaurant i always get something easy. a basic menu item that if they don’t do well says a lot about what to expect overall. I called and ordered a ½ cheese, ½ meatball pie for pickup. When I got there the counter person insisted I ordered a pepperoni pie. I do not eat pepperoni. We went back and forth several times about this before he gave in and told the pizza maker to make me a new pie. So now i had to wait for something that was supposed to be ready for me… strike 1. When they gave me the pie a full half hour after my initial order time I expected them to put a menu on the box… Nope, they put a flier for a dance club on the box instead. At my age I have 0 interest in clubs so this was wasted on me and felt like poor business strategy unless they also own the club but not using the effort to promote return business will only hurt them in the long run and is a contributing factor to why I will not go there again… strike 2. Then I got home and opened the box. 1 look at the pie and I knew it wasn’t going to be good because it looked manufactured. The bread part of the pie was rubbery, The cheese only half looked like every mediocre pizza I have ever eaten and tasted that was too. The meatball half was more of the same only with mediocre meatballs on top. And I swear to you that I am in no way exaggerating or being anything less than honest when I say it tasted like domino’s… strike 3. To give you a better idea of what is really going on there just look at the pizza competition plaques on the walls. If you can read italian you will see that the biggest ones are for participation. Basically they are given to anyone who pays an entrance fee. Maybe their specialty pies are better, They certainly look nice in the deli case they have turned into a display case.(itself not a good sign BTW) and some are mona lisa creations I have not seen elsewhere but my personal rule is that if a place can’t make a good basic menu item then it isn’t a good place to eat. As a guy brought up on the best staten island has to offer… denino’s, brothers, jimmy max, and Lee’s just to name a few I feel I know a bit about what makes a good pizza and this ain’t it. sorry mona lisa but I have to be honest. Now the only question I have is «Who do they know at the Staten Island Advance?» This place sucks. anyone giving this place a good review must be part of the staff there or related to the owners because I have gone to pizzerias owned by people who clearly are not italian who have an all illegal alien staff that make better pizza than this. I would rather eat papa Johns and I hate papa johns

This place has a lot of potential, but just misses the mark in just enough places to be mediocre. To start with the positive, I love the menu. They have all the standards, as well as a few of the more obscure Sicilian recipes, and a great creative side as well. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and they have some wonderful pairings. They also have a lot of their specialties already available in the case do they can be ordered by the slice and served quickly. To me, the biggest downside is the crust. There’s way too much of it in some cases, and even when it’s thin, the crust is bready. I felt more like I was eating bread than pizza dough. Also a big turn-off for me was the L&B pie. Besides the crust being too thick, the sauce, while delicious in its own way, lacked the slight sweetness known for the L&B. Combine all this with the high prices, and I have to look elsewhere for my pizza. I want to like this place, I really do, I’d like to try them later on and see if they’ve fixed any of these bugs.

I knew I was going to be in the area, so I did a little Unilocal homework. I wanted to find a really good pizza spot. This place has some of the best pizza I’ve had in my life. No joke! I got a really delicious slice with mushrooms, sundried tomato, parmassan cheese, and TRUFFLE oil! OMG! To die for! The cheese calzone was also a little piece of heaven. The workers there are so sweet. Especially Nicole. She was so nice and very attentive — not what you are used to at a pizza joint. I was tempted to order another pie on my way out to take back home with me to Jersey :) I don’t know if I’ll ever need to go back to Staten Island, but if I do… I’ll be sure to make a pit stop here!

Best on Staten Island. I’ve had a lot of pizza in my day, and for SI this is as good as it gets. All ingredients are *noticeably* fresh and the crusts are crispy. Margherita pie is awesome, lots of options, prompt delivery, friendly workers.

This is an adorable pizza place. It is nestled in the town of Annadale, across from the bank. They have every kind of slice you could want– Grandma, Grandpa, Bbq chicken, L&B style, Oreganata, etc. They were also the first place on the island to have Buffalo Chicken Pizza YEARS ago, and its still the best when you buy it here. I ve had it at several other places, but they all make it too too hot. Ask for some blue cheese on the side and the staff will happily oblige you. They also have THEBEST fountain Coke. I dont know why, but its sooo sweet, I even order one when Im getting home delivery! Lol! Love this place. Def recommend.(the plain pie is also great, but once you get in there and see all the different varieties, you wont go plain. Lol!

Great tasting pizza! They offer a lot of unique varieties of pizza. The oreganato and the grandpa slices are insane! The unique slices are so good that I often find myself going there and picking up the different stuff as opposed to simply getting a plain pie. I’m from Brooklyn and this place is far better than most of the places I’ve been to in my native borough.
