I have a very severe phobia of dentists in general and hearing that I needed a root canal just tripled my fear. I was a complete wreck. From the moment I called to schedule the appointment, I was treated with such kindness from the secretary Annie. So sweet and understanding. I asked her so many questions and not once did she seem annoyed or in a rush to get me off the phone. I was even worse when I got there on the day of my appointment. I was pretty much in tears, I was so afraid. I honestly cannot put into words what a compassionate, kind gentleman Dr. Mirman was. He assured me that everything was going to be fine and he gave me the most comforting smile. Throughout the procedure he asked me over and over if I was ok and If I was feeling any pain and if I did, I was to raise my hand and he would stop immediately. The procedure from start to finish was COMPLETLEYPAINLESS! He made me feel so comfortable and was just so kind. He made me feel like I was family and not a patient. I apologized to him when we were done because I knew my nerves got the best of me and he told me there was no reason to apologize and that I did great. What an amazing dentist but most of all, what an amazing person. I have never experienced such incredible bedside manner from a doctor in my entire life. He truly is the Best of the Best

Although I waited longer in the chair than I would have liked, I still have to give 5 stars. I wanted to be sure i was healing properly before i submitted my review. It was my first root canal so i was apprehensive. The procedure took some time but i FELTNOPAIN. I also got to plug in a good set of headphones into my iphone and enjoy some of my own music.(They also will provide a music player). The music offsets the sound of the drilling which is a comfort in itself. The doc and the entire staff were friendly and lighthearted about the whole process. It would be fine with me if ii never got another root canal, but if i did, Dr Mirman’s office is where I would go…

I’ve been to Dr. Mirman for two root canals so far. As much as I like Dr. Mirman and think he is a very nice man, hopefully I won’t need to come back anytime soon! Haha! Every time I had a nice experience. They let me listen to my music during the procedures which was nice rather than hearing drilling in your head. Everyone in this office is very nice and professional; living on Staten Island has made me become used to rude receptionists. I never felt a thing during the root canal or afterwards. Even the injection is just a little pinch. I recommend him 100% if you’re looking for an excellent Endo!

Just left Dr Mirman’s office. I was referred to him by my general dentist for a root canal. I am a Dental Hygienist & even though I am in the field, I was still terrified for this experience! I do agree with the other reviews that there was a little bit of a wait time, but being in the field, I know that endo is an emergency practice(which means other Dr’s send patients over all day long & they are put into the schedule). So grab a magazine, watch tv, or play on your cell like any other day! As far as the procedure– absolutely QUICKANDPAINLESS! I was offered headphones to wear during the procedure so I didn’t have to hear any of the noises… and the assistant Kara was fantastic! she rubbed my arms during the injections & comforted me– we had a few laughs that im such a big baby… They make a great team! Check out was very simple, and the girls at the front desk thoroughly explained to me what I would be experiencing the next few days– I was handed my prescription & left… Quick, easy, painless, friendly faces & personalities– not much more to ask for! I would highly recommend Dr Mirman to any of my own patients that I treat!

My dentist referred me to this office, and I was not very pleased. Though the procedure went well and was painless, I have never experienced quite the wait like this before. I was called two and a half hours AFTER my scheduled appointment, and while my mouth was being numbed, I was left alone to lay down in the room for OVER an hour. At one point, I thought they forgot about me. I even heard the doctor laughing and talking in the next room. I know my mouth was completely numb after 20 mins so I don’t get why I waited an hour. I even feared the numbness would wear off! What was a fifteen minute procedure, took three hours in the office. The endodontist came and did the procedure, and I couldn’t help but think I could have been in and out within an hour. When I came out, there were three other patients waiting, and it seemed as though they had scheduled two patients an hour?! The procedure takes nearly an hour with all the waiting time. So basically, they were wasting everyone’s time, and everyone was going in two hours later than their scheduled time. Highly frustrated. Office, get your administrative duties together. Go elsewhere, if you want to save your time!
