This place is way overpriced. I ordered a large milkshake for $ 8 and it was watered down. The steak sandwich was decent for $ 9 but you have to order a minimum of $ 20 which is outrageous. I gave the delivery driver a $ 4 tip because he was fast but other than that this place is a big waste. I called the owner to tell him my experience but I was hung up on. I wasn’t even looking for a handout.

The food was VERY greasy. The presentation was nice, they got my order exactly right, but everything was dripping in oil and/or butter. Needs improving. Not exactly cheap either.

They have great sandwiches, you can never go wrong with The Gladiator! Must try out their cereal milkshakes, delicious! My absolutely favorite dish is the sweet potato fries with the maple syrup and fluff!!!

Love to get takeout from this place. They delivered with the knight rider car! The food is always delicious, fresh and hot. Never had a bad meal. I live in Rossville and they deliver all the way to me. Food is perfect.

The bubble head girl can’t get an order right I will not go back to this place. People when you order take out pay attention to these kids working there and get your order right I get home and I am stuck with something I didn’t order…

The delivery is fantastic — fast, friendly, and kind. The food always gets there hot. I’ve found that the service at the restaurant can be hit or miss but the delivery always hits the bull’s eye.

Went here with the family and coleslaw came with my meal. I love coleslaw except I took one bite and literally had to spit it out it was spoiled! I wish I did a smell test first. When I alerted the waitress to the problem she just said«ok» and shrugged her shoulders no apology and I didn’t even see them go to the fridge to check their coleslaw. And according to the owner they don’t serve coleslaw I know what I ate and I know where I got it it was served in a small plastic cup usually used for condiments

The food is maybe a notch up from diner-grade and it’s wildly over priced. I ordered onion rings to go with my meal and was charged $ 4.99. The reason that I ordered the inion rings is because the curly fries they serve normally are generally cooked to the point of being weaponized. For $ 4.99 I received exactly 10 onion rings. Yup. .50 cents a ring. I thought tht this must have been an oversight that they would be eager to rectify but nope — the girl on the phone said that onion rings are .50 cents a piece. I asked to speak to a manager but apparently, none were to be found and she took my number, saying someone would be back to me tomorrow. I knew this would be my last contact with Lunchbox. No one ever called, only confirming that their food is overpriced for what it is, and what it is isn’t much. I am in the industry. I know how cheap onions are. If their onion rings were made from Maui onions and fried in unicorn tears by Auguste Escoffier himself, they wouldn’t begin to approach 50 cents a piece. At the end of the day, it’s overpriced diner food with bro names attached to it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Very nice décor, great atmosphere an most of all great customer service. Kids chicken tenders where so good my son ordered a side of wing hot sauce to dip in, weird but it went very well with it. There milk shakes are nice thick an perfect. I usually grab a chicken sandwich with frys an onions rings. which all where very good. I had there wrap before as well as there sweet potato frys which was mouth watering. There name suits them well my kids really love coming here they enjoy the lunch boxes everywhere and all the graffiti. Definitely a cool lunch spot :)

If ur going to eat here, make sure u bring ur fat hat! Or at least not on ANY kind of diet. Food is good, don’t get me wrong. but diabetes is in your future if you eat here often. The tater tot tower is my favorite, the wings in my opinion aren’t the best thing on the menu. The sandwiches are very good. My friend did the hot wing challenge and won and I witnessed the entire thing, they use ghost pepper oil I believe. And after u all eat the wings in the given time, you have to wait 10 minutes to drink the milk waiting right in front of you. Overall I don’t recommend doing the challenge but the sandwiches are where it’s at!

Great Place! Fresh and Creative Classic Comfort Food. Love the energy and vibe of this place — the menu and the dining hall. Everything tastes delicious! If you’re on a diet though… Lunchbox will definitely put your willpower to the test.

Called here today to put in a simple lunch order. Two hot dogs with meat sause and chesse with the hook-up. Got a call back«clarifying the order» and what shows up was hot dogs with chopped up tomatoes eww!!! So I callback just to let her know an error was made. The girl who picked up the phone around 2pm today was so rude. Blamed me for her mistake. Then when I asked to speak to a manager said there is no manager that they manage themselves??? Then when I asked her name she slammed down the phone on me. I used to order from here once or twice a week but after today I never will again!!! Where do you get chopped up tomatoes from meat sause?

This place is right around the block from my house but I have never been back. The music is too loud, the seats and tables are terribly uncomfortable and the menu is awful! Everything is fried and heavy and overpriced.

Def a gem on Staten Island. Very unique and delicious. Nicely decorated and cozy atmosphere! Tator tot tower was amazing! And so were the mini sloppy joes! The fried cheese balls were eh, I wouldn’t get them again. We were so full from the appetizers that we couldn’t even get up to our sandwiches that we ordered. Which we ate at home later lol and it was still delish. Would’ve been better fresh lol . Def will come back and def do recommend!

Awesome desserts and appetizers! Terrible everything else especially service. Recommend ordering the tater tot tower or the Mac n cheese balls, red velvet milkshakes can be good one time and terrible the other.

The inside has a unique look to the place. The staff are pretty cool and helpful. I had ordered for take out and had one of the orders mixed up, but we didn’t realize it till I got home. We called them right away and they were very accommodating in fixing the mistake. It very kind of them to deliver the good that they had mistakenly done… thank you guys!!! The food is good. It’s comfort food… we had a groupon so we tried it. We need to try their shakes that everyone keeps talking abour, especially I love shakes.

Nice modern touch for sandwiches and sides. All different size Heros and great selection of sides. Tator tots are my fave. The wings are really good. Cool ambiance. They deliver. They have a few crazy challenges. I think it’s a little overpriced but not too bad. I like this spot and when you take it to go food comes in a cardboard lunch box.

Stopped by for lunch with a grp of 3. Inside there’s picnic tables, plenty of seating for a casual meal. The wait staff was great, just wish we enjoyed our meal more. We ordered the tater tot tower, it was way too cheesy for us. Their 50⁄50 wings on the other hand I were great, very flavorful & the sauce was perfect! We tried 2 sandwiches. The Terminator & Wise Guy. Liked them both, but wasn’t as impressed as I thought I would be. Most likely would return to try our their other menu items. Think we chose wrong the first time around. Staff was great, & very welcoming.

What a ripoff. I ordered a regular Raging Cajun salad. It cost $ 12 dollars. It had 4 small pieces of shrimp, two baby tomatoes, and about 2oz of cheap greens. The dressing was the size of a small ketchup holder. They have the audacity to charge for an extra, equally disappointing sized pack. There were 4 of the thinnest strip of avocado. All in all the ingredients together cost just over a buck. Roughly a 15% cost of goods sold, my COO would only dream of such numbers. Mind you industry standard optimal COGS is 25−30% Those plates are looking a little light there. There was nothing special about this salad. The shrimp was old and reheated and the Cajun sauce was watered down bottled stuff. I take food seriously and here I am left hungry and pissed off by a restaurant that thinks it can get away with cutting two baby tomatoes in half and calling it a substantial ingredient. Along with an eighth of a small avocado, 4 size 40 shrimp, and Aquafina dressing came a hell of a lot of olives. I’ll give them that much. I dislike olives but I ate them because they were the most plentiful ingredient in the dish and had absolutely no taste. If you like that, you’ll love this salad. The only thing raging and Cajun about this salad should be someone from New Orleans taking offense to this dish’s nomenclature. I’m giving this place 1 star instead of 2 because after eating all the subpar food I had to buy dinner somewhere else after to satisfy a still lingering hunger.

I must give them props for naming their sandwiches after superhero: Captain America and Ironman! My friend and I ordered the Gladiator sandwich and the Dare Devil wrap with tater tots on the side. My sandwich was extremely messy due to the dressing, but it taste really good! However, I wish they given me more vegetables with my sandwich. The Dare Devil wrap also taste really good and who doesn’t love tater tots?

Great place for quick lunch. Urban décor with bright yellow metal plate tables, plenty of seats inside and outside, lots of parking on side streets. Lunch box collection on the shelves is fun to look at while waiting for your order! Sandwiches, wraps, soups, salads, house specials — pretty good array of choices. Their regular fries are da bomb! Freshly made, crisp on outside and perfectly cooked on inside. Gimme that ketchup! I am not sharing those. Yum.
