The prepared food here is very good and always fresh.
The staff is always friendly.
They also have a lot of specialty Italian items that you probably can’t find anywhere else.

I have nothing bad to say about Little Italy. I work around the corner and started to go there a few months ago. I find myself getting lunch there 3 or more times a week. They have great lunch specials (which I will be ordering their AMAZING cheeseburger today). They have fast, friendly service and you’re always greeted with a smile. If you work in the area, I would highly suggest ordering from here! You could pick up, or have it delivered, which is a HUGE convenience. My only suggestion, which will not hinder their score, is to add an online ordering option. I find it’s easier to just order quickly with a few clicks of the mouse, rather than calling.

Went in to buy a sandwich. $ 9! Took fresh bread to the counter. The deli guy pulled some old loaf out of a box below the counter. Then he charged me for a pound of olive salad that actually was much less. I only regret that I didn’t refuse to pay.

Ordered from Little Italy Gourmet numerous times for large catering orders over the holiday season. Hero were good, sides that came with them (POTATO, MACARONI & COLE SLAW SALAD) didn’t enjoy them. Get the rice balls and potato croquettes. Called to make an order for New Years but I was rudely spoken to over the phone after the women who took my order didn’t understand what I was ordering. Extremely offended and I will take my business elsewhere.

probably the best deli on Staten Island. they have all the usual «Italian «specialties. there fresh mozzerella is delicious. cold cuts are always fresh. daily lunch menu as well as assortment of pannins. running late or just don’t want to cook there is a big selection of heat and eat food. a full service butcher is avaiabl. Best Italian deli in all of New Dorp (if not all of Staten Island) cold cuts are always fresh, prepared foods are all homemade and delicious (my fav are the rice balls and potato croquettes) and the fresh mozz is always delish as well. Great place to get a sandwhich or even pick up some grocery items (besides the deli they have a full service butcher) oh and if running short on time their homemade sauces are amazing!

I LOVE this place and am so grateful they’re around the corner from me. This is the type of place where you go on Sunday mornings and they know everyone. If they don’t have what you ask for, they’ll spend time recommending a similar or even better product. The guys behind the counter are so helpful. Their prosciutto bread is AWESOME and somehow always seems like it’s coming fresh out of the oven. I try and try and try to not eat it all in the first few hours I have it, but it’s near impossible! Their fresh mozzarella is also great. I often buy pizza dough there and they give you enough for two pizzas. I only wish that they’d stay open until 8pm. Most people who work in the city can’t get there by 7:00 when they close.

Hands down Best Fresh Mozzarella on the Island! Pricey but worth it. Just oozes creaminess! They should teach every other joint on SI how to make it because they are the only ones who do it right!

I patronize Little Italy Gourmet pretty much every time I take a trip to Staten Island. It’s a great little Italian mart serving and selling all the necessities without the hype and crowding of Pastosa.
When it comes to the food I’m especially a fan of their Sicilian rice balls as well as their freshly fried «egg rolls» packed with delicious Italian fixings. Last New Year’s I catered American and chicken cutlet heroes and was not disappointed in the product, even though it was a tad overpriced.

While the service is lackluster, I truly enjoy shopping at this little place and highly recommend it to any Italiano or otherwise living on the North or South shore.

Beautifully decorated with an array of products to select from. It is a great neighborhood store to run and grab something quick. My regular purchases from here are the fresh mozzarella, the large Sicilian rice balls and their pizza dough. Cold cuts are always fresh, but have you waiting a bit. The breads are worth a try as well. Hope this store is around for a long time.

This place is pretty good there cold cuts are always fresh, there salads raviolis and eggplant rolinitine are awesome. I could have that everyday. There prices aren’t bad either. I deff recommend this place!

Just catered from them this past weekend. Food was delish. Ordered Chicken Martino which is dipped in parmesan cheese in a lemon sauce, that was excellent. Eggplant Rolitin was great and their Steak Pizzaoili was yummo. Thanks for such good food. We will be using them again. Eating the left overs right now while I write this review. :)

mmm I was lured in here by the freshly baked «proscuitto rolls» on the front counter. And yes… it tasted as good as it smelled. Perfect combo of crunchy and not so crunchy (on the inside) little meat bits and cheese rolled up in a good somewhat doughy bread. Much enjoyed. Will smell you out again my little diet ruiner.
I’ve also had very excellent chicken parm from this Island Italian Specialty Store as they call themselves. They have an extensive catering menu, different daily menus, free delivery, panini specials, full line of cold cuts, hot and cold food prepared daily, homemade mozzerella and various imported Italian goodies.
