I lowered my rating of this place not because of the quality of the food and coffee. I want to say the food, acai bowls, and coffee are definitely great quality however, the service is very slow at times. I’ve gone in a few times and only one person is working, I feel there should be a minimum of 2 people. I’ve also gone a few times with friends and experienced they’re either out of a particular ingredient(such as crêpe batter or acai) or the machines aren’t working(crêpe machine) but we weren’t told until after we paid. The staff was accommodating however it was still an inconvenience. Like I said, I really enjoy this place and will continue to go back but I do feel that there are some drawbacks.

Very cute café– always wanted to find a place like this on the island. Came here on a Sunday afternoon with a group of 5, and it was very quiet with nice music. Friends got the Sunnyside Acai bowl. Lots of fresh fruits. I had the café au lait, medium was fair priced and good portion. Would definitely recommend and be back!

Great coffee and atmosphere! All menu items are named after things Staten Island, super cute idea. Had a soy latte which was perfect. Plan to come back in the near future!

Anyways my co-worker told me about this place that makes smoothies and I was like yea lets go! Truthfully I never had a smoothie. I know sad right. I enter the establishment and it reminded me of a city(manhattan) café with people sitting with their labtops and drinking their lattes. My friend order her smoothie and I order mine. The guy who did my smoothie was super cool and even ask how our day was going. Since, my smoothie«The st. george» was a new item and he never made it before. His name is Nick and I told him that I trust him and I know it will come good. He took his time and my smoothie came out goooooood and trust me I am one picky vegan. My smoothie contains coconut milk, rolled oats, bananas, dates and chia seeds. Tips 1. The parking ummmmm. Its on a busy avenue. Most likely will have to pay for the street meter. You will have better luck in the mornings or evenings. 2. Bus transportation. The s48 leaves you next the stop. Its right across the street from planet fitness. 3. When you check-in you get 10% off your order. Thank you Unilocal! 4. Dont come if youre in a rush. Nick takes his time doing his orders. 5. Enjoy!

I’m not one for writing reviews but the drinks I received were inexcusable. I ordered a large iced chai latte and I literally received a large cup of milk. This was my first time going and I sorely disappointed. My girlfriend ordered an iced green tea latte and hers was mostly milk as well. Little to no flavor for both drinks. I regret not tasting to the drink while we were still at the store. 1OUT5STARSFORCHARGINGME10DOLLARSFOR2CUPSOFMILK.

New go to place for coffee and relaxation on the weekends. I came here with a friend who returned from overseas to catch up. We both got a mug of the seasonal drip with coconut milk. I ventured and chewed down in a James Bond grilled cheese and my friend a blueberry muffin. The food and coffee were great, the location and atmosphere are relaxing which make you almost forget you’re on Forest Avenue. Super friendly staff, Hey Nick! Looking forward to my next visit.

Little gem in Staten Island. We ordered the Greek crêpe, vanilla latte and matcha. Matcha was one of the best I’ve had. They use higher quality matcha and blend it just right. Crêpe was simple but very tasty and the lighting is

My new coffee spot! The coffee is delicious, both hot and iced. I’m a big fan of iced coffee, this is one of the best I have had in a while! Breakfast sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and are delicious. Most of the baked goods are made daily on premises, yum! Coffee, sandwiches & crepes are made to order so there is a wait, but it is well worth it! Best of luck to Fab Cup!

The day after Thanksgiving we were looking for a place that was somewhat healthy. Fab Cup definitely fit the bill. This is a coffee and tea shop but they also serve Shakes, Acai Bowls, Crepes and baked goods. What first caught my eye months ago was the mural on the side of the building. It has been open just under a year and is quite a pleasant addition to the chain coffee shops around the island. The shakes are named after different areas of Staten Island like St. George, Clove Lake, Verrazano and Sunnyside just to name a few. For a light lunch I went with the Richmond Acai Shake. It was a delicious combination of Acai, almond milk, coconut, pineapple, and chia seeds. My wife had an Iced Green Tea. We then split a crêpe filled with ham, swiss and spinach. Since it was our lunch we went with a savory crêpe but they also have plenty of sweet options. There is also a nice selection of baked goods for something to pick up and go. Certainly a stop if your in the area.

Fab Cup does have fab design and ambience and I give it high marks for that. Staten Island is sorely lacking in such comfortable, non-chain coffee shops that you can hang out in. But having gone maybe half a dozen times over the course of as many months, I finally have to admit that the coffee just really isn’t that good. I drink my coffee black, and like strong, robust coffee.(Not burnt, like you-know-who chain down the street, just flavorful.) I have yet to find that at Fab Cup. I’ve tried the standard brew, pour over, Americano, and cold brew. All were either weak or downright bitter(strangely — the cold brew, which I love for chocolatey smoothness, was the most bitter of all.) I was hoping the baristas were on their way to figuring things out if I’d just be patient, but it doesn’t seem so. Maybe the drinks with milk and sugar are more palatable to people who like coffee as a desserty drink. My 3 stars are an average of good vibe and nice staff with very meh coffee. One piece of concrete advice I could offer: switch out the wide-mouthed, cappuccino style mugs for all in-house orders except actual cappuccino. They look very cool, yes, but they make coffee get cold so incredibly fast that unless you guzzle your drink, you’re quickly left with tepid, sour mud.

We stopped in yesterday for a cold brew I’m obsessed since I make my own and a Caramel ice coffee and I was super happy we did. The people behind the counter Nick and Lisa were so nice and knowledgable about coffee. We had a great conversation! They had great coffee from Toby Estate which you don’t see on the island. They have a variety of really great food. This great coffee shop is straight out of BK and perfectly placed here for us islanders you must take advantage of this gift! The vibe in this shop is awesome comfy, cozy and great music, the décor is beautiful! I will def be back !! Good job to the owners staff that put this place together so I don’t have to go to BK for great coffee!

Whether it’s the coffee or the smoothies, this is a wonderful place to unwind in a neighborhood that needs a few more such places. The atmosphere is laid back, artsy in the way cafes of Manhattan tend to be. I was fortunate enough to have their pura vida sandwich(ciabatta, egg white omelet, guac, turkey, with banana peppers) for breakfast and though it might sound like a bit much for the first meal of the day, it was both powerful and pleasant. It’s slightly less cool than beans and leaves(a tenths of a mile away for those of you who don’t know) it is a solid alternative and charming in its own way.

Good cappuccino and a cozy, inviting coffee house feel. Nice to be able to support an Indie business! I didn’t try them but the chocolate chip brownies got two thumbs up from my 6yr olds! I’ll definitely be back and looking forward to sampling more of their food offerings and of course, more coffeeeee!
