Great place to eat, large portions. Ordered take out for a football game and had turkey club with sweet potato fries. Turkey wasn’t dry the way it usually comes. ‘Twas a feast!

I eat here all the time with my family. This is by far the best diner on Staten Island. Most of the time you’re greeted by the friendly owner, and then you get some of the freshest food. I will keep coming here all the time. If you have not tried this diner, I totally recommend it. You will not regret it! Also, try the fisherman salad. It is the best, freshest seafood you’ll find. Almost 5 star seafood restaurant quality!

Mostly enjoy anything I’ve tried here. Sometimes I avoid this place at typical eating hours. It’s too crowded, and parking is usually difficult, even at odder times. If you want a good meal and plenty to eat, this is your diner. Easily, the best one on the island.

My favorite diner on the Island… when George is there you can be guaranteed a good meal but when his son is running it the food is not the same quality. George is great !

No question, The best diner on Staten Island, excellent service, big portions of food, good prices, and fresh home cook taste. This is my favorite diner on Staten Island, and you can call your order from home and have the meal delivered. Andrew’s Diner is as good as it gets! «fuhgeddaboudit»

This is by far the best diner on Staten Island. I actually consider it more of a restaurant than a diner. My family & I have always had great service from breakfast to dinner. Their food is excellent, especially their broiled seafood combo with lobster and their seafood salad which is always fresh. Their fried calamari is out of this world. George & his sons Andrew & Guss, make us feel like family whenever we come in as well as Christine the hostess.

This is my family’s favorite diner. Ive gone here many times without a problem, it gets a little crowded during breakfast time, so please get a reservation! The parking lot is also a nightmare, you have maybe 25 spots, so you pretty much have to sit there and wait, unless you want to park on the street. The food is excellent though and so is the staff. You will always feel like your getting a good meal at Andrew’s Diner.

Let me tell you a story: I took my little sister here one day for lunch. She ordered veal parmesan. What came on the plate looked like it had just been unwrapped and microwaved. All that was on the plate was piece of meat covered in a sheet of cheese… you couldn’t even see if there was actually sauce. She wouldn’t eat it and I had to say something. The manager(or owner, not sure) came over and goes, «sweetie, have you ever had veal before?» We were both offended and shocked that he’d be so condescending. He cut into it, and the meat inside was bleached white. We’re both still not convinced that that best was 100% veal. My sister still couldn’t eat it, so she ordered a 5 $ grilled cheese after he continued to give her a hard time. Then, when the bill came they said they had to make us pay for the 20 $ veal parm my sister didn’t even touch. Worst diner experience I’ve ever had.

I have been to Staten Island exactly one time. I went here. This place is not a NJ diner because if is in a strip mall. That made me sad. The food was good. The owner and waitress were friendly. Forget about parking during peak times though.

Andrew, it’s over. First thing first, your wait staff is completely lacking server etiquette. A refresher course on hygienic food handling and hand washing would be in order before the department of health shuts you down. Waitresses are seen coughing in their hands, touching their nose, hair & hats, and adjusting the hem of their pants all while handling food/hot plates/condiments. Get it together! What an upset. They even kneel one leg onto the bench of a booth seat while talking to customers. I don’t even want to talk about the food because the service was such a turn off. I will not be returning and neither will anyone i know.

When it comes to diners, my go tos are Mike’s Place on Hylan, the Colonnade on Hylan, or Andrews. All depends where I am on the island and what time of the day it is. Andrews has some pretty good diner food though. Decent burgers but my favorite here is their greek chicken wrap with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, feta. so good. Their fries are yummy too! in a small stip mall so Parking here kind of sucks if you’re there during the day.
