Dan Lestz and Sue Venegoni are pompous jerks. Extremely cheap, won’t fix things at your house and will interrogate you when their 100 year old (not well cared for) house starts falling apart. They communicate horribly, they pass their cost of doing business onto you (such as routine cleaning between tenants), they’re very quick to jump on you for little things, they have zero trust in their tenants, and they are decieving. We were showed a different house than we were actually able to rent and the house we got had dirty unfinished wood floors, a leaky basement, bath tub, and fireplace. When our bathtub was leaking so bad the water was dripping through our kitchen ceiling Dan told us it was because we werent closing the shower curtain when we showered, which was not the case. When the leak continued neither Dan nor his professional plumber could find the leak. After they left i decided to take a look for myself and to my surprise, i found it! The drain needed resealed :)
Our house was on a busy road and we were not given blinds however we were told that if we installed blinds they would become the property of the landlords. We were told we had washer and dryer hook ups though the electrical outlets were not safe and to properly ventilate the dryer it would have cost over $ 100. With regards to our washer and dryer we were told numerous times «tenants usually leave these items behind»… Translation «we would like to have your stuff for free to appear more appealing to future tenants». The icing on the cake was the frequent bicycle rides past the house with complete and total rubbernecking at the windows… In addition to the times they actually stopped to snoop through the windows. Don’t rent from these two.
