I am grateful that this cinema is in Stanwood, because it’s so convenient. But I have to be honest and say that I’m always disappointed when I go. The carpet is filthy, the walls are dirty and the paint is so bad. The seating is horrible and very uncomfortable. It’s hard to sit in those seats for an entire movie. I bought a large bottled water and one box of Junior mints and paid nine dollars. The bathrooms in this building stink so bad. They are in such disrepair that I hate using them. I know it cost money to remodel, but paint is cheap and how about just cleaning the carpets. I really wish they would fix up this theater because I love the restaurants in the building and I love the convenience of this theater.

So this is a small town movie theater… the building that it is in is really cute. The inside has huge murals on the wall and the restaurants are made to feel like they are in an «outdoor» setting. Really cute how it is all put together. But as far as the theater itself goes… the tickets are fairly priced. They show current releases and the quality of the movies is good. The seats and interior of the theaters need updating though. The backs of the 2 seats in front of us fell off just by being touched. The fabric on the walls is cut really poorly to fit the lights. But, considering that this is a small town, local movie theater, they probably don’t make a lot at the end of the day, and the interior doesn’t bother me enough to stop going to movies there. It’s a great venue for dinner and a movie!

Seats are severely outdated and often in need of repair. Private theater, so leave your AMC and Regal gift cards at home. Good local restaurants right across from theater entrance, so convenient date location for dinner & movie.

My family and I have been trying to make a huge effort to spend our time and money locally. Being islanders, Camano, we understand the importance of keeping whatever local businesses we have left(which isn’t many) successful. My children and I had picked out a movie and found that we could NOT purchase tickets for this cinema on Fandango which was really a shame, however, we still hopped in the car and went to the cinema hoping to catch a good movie and play a little bit in the arcade after our movie ended. Turns out they also don’t have 3D capabilities. REALLY?! Oh well, we chose the only kid friendly movie they had playing at the time which wasn’t our first or even second choice but Journey 2 did end up being a really fun movie! We arrived just in time to catch the movie, the lights in the cinema were already dimmed. When we left the cinema I noticed my son ended up with a huge wad of gum stuck to the rear of his new pants. Doesn’t anyone clean between movies? Guess not! We then head to the arcade to get in a little air hockey. This had been our ritual since moving to Camano. Armed with several one dollar bills and a fair amount of quarters, I notice walking in that several of the machines are out of order. We put our 50 cents into the air hockey table only to have it come on and turn back off. Broken but with no «Out of Order» sign like so many of the other machines. We then go and spend the rest of our quarters on the few machines that are working and head to the change machine for more quarters. It, too, is OUTOFORDER! We head to the concession stand for change only to have them tell us they aren’t giving out change and that we need to ask at the nearby Mexican restaurant, Amigos, which is packed with dinner patrons. At this point both my children as well as myself are frustrated and decide to head home fully disappointed. I don’t know who is responsible for the upkeep of this quaint little place but whomever it is should be fired because at the rate they are going it won’t survive much longer. I also find it sad that not only is the cinema and arcade severely neglected but they also have no problem inconveniencing the other businesses around them. We won’t be back anytime soon.

Go if for no other reason than to catch the wall murals by local artist Jack Gunter. Buy your ticket early, then sit down for dinner or a drink beforehand in the ‘outdoor’ seatings of one of the restaurants and enjoy some people watching. If you’re a local, you will likely run into someone to chat it up with.

This is an adorable small-town cinema with an outstanding atmosphere. The interior has cobblestone floors and looks like you are outside when you walk in. There are a few outstanding restaurants that add to the atmosphere, complete with«outdoor» seating. This is a hidden little gem.

Good location, nice atmosphere in area around cinema. Theater insides(floors, chairs) are filthy, ensure you arrive before the lights dim or your likely to sit in something. Needs upgrading to at least one 3D theater.
