A example of great tasting food. They have a variety to choose from and big dinning area and small outside one. It does get busy usually round both breakfast and dinner time so be prepared.

Nice little whole in the wall burger spot. They have a lot on the menu. I got a pastrami and fries combo. Good pastrami sandwich and fries were pretty good as well. I got it to go and they filled my bag up half way full of fries. Love it when they dont chince on the fries! I will be back to try a burger sometime.

This is a staple for anyone attending Rancho Alamitos High School. It’s in perfect walking distance to go after school just to dine out with your friends. The food is okay. I remember their burgers being pretty cheap back in the day. I do also remember my science teacher ordering a Spaghetti, and most definitely not liking it(he barely touched his plate). I came here to study sometimes to prep for Calculus, which I still ended up getting a C in. Thank you Howard Nguyen for your private tutoring expertise.

I been coming here all my childhood I love the food, but really prices keep going higher and food quality going lower I used to get enough food to feed like actually two people now there food seems to get smaller and the taste is different this was once my favorite place to eat now I’ll be looking forward to eating somewhere else.

I come here a lot because they have a bomb chocolate banana shake, but really how many times do I have to say it. I asked 2 times for a chocolate banana shake and I got a plain vanilla. Not even banana. I don’t really appreciate spending almost $ 5 that’s not going to come out to what I want. If you are gonna order anything from this restaurant, make sure they understand you or walk in. Grr.

prices keep going up and quality keeps going down. prices still reasonable but other places better quality so go to other places. old potato. soured expired gravy. taste is off. maybe other location is better. hard to understand accents sometimes of some of the workers but they get mad at you and act like you are dumb when you have trouble understanding them… 2 stars because the fries are still good… in the general sense, i think its pretty cool what greek americans have done with these burgers and diner places throughout socal. i think there should like a kcet pbs documentary talking with the families and stuff. it should be a cool part of california history. apparently this location used to be a mcdonalds.

My family and i have been coming here for years. The chicken quesadilla is delicious(I usually order it plain without all of their onions and cilantro)! Prices are all pretty fair. One of my favorite things to get is a breakfast burrito with both bacon and sausage. Pretty darn delicious and also pretty huge. Customer service is ok. They usually recognize my family so they’re pretty nice to us. The BEST food there though is hands down their Broasted chicken dinner. The chicken is just do delicious and it comes with either Mashed or a baked potato, a salad, a soup and a small piece of bread. When we order this, it is usually enough for both my mom, dad and me . Burgers are O.K. and the french fries are also O.K. We usually get their zucchini fries though, they’re pretty good with some of their ranch but sometimes can be a little greasy. Be aware though that they are packed on the weekends in the mornings!

Food has always been pretty good here and the pricing is decent considering the food and quality, etc. However, the CUSTOMERSERVICEHERESUCKS. So disappointed because my family has been coming here for a couple years now, but recently the service has become HORRIBLE. I work in a restaurant myself, so I know tips can be life for waitresses/waiters, but honestly why would I want to tip someone who has no consideration of my experience at Harry’s? Stick to the typical burger specials, etc… Their mexican food is actually worse than a Del Taco type restaurant, their chicken was fried in old grease so it came out dark brown and oily tasting, overall everything here is just«OK». If you like those thin patty burger combos you get at every corner burger joint around town… this place will deliver!

So we had an Entertainment coupon for a BOGO burger good at any of their three locations. We had one expiring at the end of this year, and a new one in our new book. We went to the location on Beach first, and they informed me that it was only for a burger. I am aware, but it does say equal or lesser value. So, I ended up getting my husband a bacon burger and I got myself a regular burger. I asked for an order of fries(to split) and a large drink. She informed me that she had a better deal for me. Buy a burger and a large drink, get a burger free. Okay… same deal I suppose? She gave me my coupon back. The order came, but no fries. Oh well. We didn’t really need them anyways but that was not the point. So, we decided to give this location a shot. I got it to go. I brought up the coupon when the cashier stared at it, and sighed, and was trying to motion someone to come over. «I haaaatteeee thhheeesssee!!!» she whined like a kid while waiting for help. Um, okay, but your business offered them so it isn’t really my problem. A girl came over and I got the same response. «Um, this is only good for a burger.» I am well aware, so I asked if I could pay the difference. It makes sense. It says BOGO hamburger, but I am not sure why it says of equal or lesser value if it’s JUST for the regular hamburgers only. They allowed me to order my husband’s with bacon, after repeating what he did not want on it three times. I added avocado on mine and repeated what I did not want on it twice. I ordered two small fries as well. I did not get a number. I do not know if this is normal with to go orders or if it was my luck continuing. Finally someone called out, «Two burgers, two fries!» and I got it. I guess anyone could have gone and taken it. After all of that the burger was mediocre. The other location it at least it tasted really good still. This one, not so much. I will come back and try some other items and maybe go to the other location for a burger again, unless I feel like dealing with this interesting crew and see if the burger tastes better. If I use my other coupon I will plan on a hamburger which is just fine and I will get my usual speech when I go to add my husband’s bacon.

One of the best local diners/cafes around! 5 stars based on that category. This is just good old diner food so don’t expect anything fancy. Food is made fresh when you order, so expect a bit of a wait. Their $ 6.99 steak & eggs has to be one of the best deals around(rib eye steak, 3 eggs, hash browns, and toast)! They’re super busy on weekend mornings, so be prepared to wait to find parking or long waits in the drive thru. They do everything they can to speed things up though, one of them will go through the drive thru taking orders or help direct parking. Again, the food is worth the wait! Big kudos to them for shutting down at 1pm on Thanksgiving to give free food to the community. Love that they give back!

I have just enjoyed a FREE eight item Thanksgiving dinner courtesy of this fine café. They even le me take it to go –as the place was pretty packed as you could imagine. The dinner was fantastic — all of it… could barley finish but I managed! Thank you Harry’s and all that made this possible for everyone that needed reminder of what this season is about.

This place is right near Rancho and a lot of my friends like to come here. I would describe it as your typical burger joint that has breakfast items as well. Oh boy though, their breakfast burritos are disappointing! I don’t mind crunchy bacon but these were over done. The hash browns were just as crunchy as the bacon… The burgers are average, something you can get at any other place. I can see why people like it though. If they can’t cook a decent burrito, I would rule out any of the breakfast items.

Good place to have breakfast I like it very good food exactly as ordered, for good price, I give it four stars because the service is not the best, cashiers needed more customer service Saturday I went to breakfast, and a cashier serving customers but the other was busy chatting with coworkers while we waited after a long wait was decided to meet us, She attended a hurry to continue talking, I ordered decaf coffee and gave me regularly. the wait for the food was a considerable time very delicious and made me forget the wait to order keep coming.

Honest Review! About 20 years this place was once a McDonald’s, when all of a sudden it was closed down. I would come to this location after school back in 94, and many people that worked there went to rancho. The place is now Harrys and has a great combination of different styles of food, the place has excellent customer service and Spanish is not needed to get what you want. I always order the steak sandwich with onion rings which tends to hit the right spot. Love coming here.

I don’t think the term Omnomnom gets used enough. I stopped by here after finding out my favorite breakfast place closed. I tried the Harry’s Specialty omelette which includes a little bit of everything, veggies, cheese, sliced sausage and do yourself a favor and get the home style fries! dont get the usual hash browns. The home style fries really aren’t fries at all, but instead red potatoes, grilled onions and seasoned well. these are awesome you need to have them. During busy hours there can be a line of cars and the parking lot is full, but its for a good reason. The food is good! Stop by and give it a try, its worth it! Omnomnomnom

I love coming here with my Greek friend. They always are friendly, and the portions are large. The menu is huge, and anything you can think of is on it. They have 4 locations, and this one is close by. The manager just sat down with us, and started a conversation with my Greek friend. He was mindful to include me in the conversation although a lot of Greek words were mixed in. I will return to this location.

Harry’s Café is where you want to go if you’re hungry, limited in funds, and enjoy comfort food. The portions are large, the food is tasty, and the service very nice. I love their burgers, breakfasts, and Greek Chicken. It’s is rare that I am able to eat all they give me – not because of the quality(which is good) but because of the huge portions(at Harry’s, size does matter!) Yesterday, my wife and I split a breakfast of steak, three eggs, toast, and hash browns, pancakes plus coffee for a great price. Where else can you find such a deal? They have renovated the booths and décor plus now take credit/debit cards. As long as I am alive, Harry’s will be the place I want to go when I am craving American fare at a fair price!
