This is my first experience at a sit down Vietnamese restaurant so I don’t have anything to compare it to. That said, I loved the Tom Yum with chicken. The service was friendly and my food was served quickly. The prices were very reasonable. I had spring rolls and Tom Yum for $ 7.63. I will recommend this place to others and I will return again.

Horrible experience, went there for the first time cause I saw the good reviews on Unilocal but their service sucks. I called ahead to place my order. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes so I went 30 minutes later to give them 10 extra minutes & my food was still not ready, 45 minutes later I’m still waiting for my food that I called ahead for. Also asked them for their Iced Coffee with milk & they didn’t even fill it up to the top, I asked the girl to fill it up & all she did was pretend to put more coffee & just added more ice. Went I got to my office they didn’t even give me the right soup I ordered. Again horrible experience, horrible service & the soup was horrible. Won’t waste my time or money there ever again.

I love this place my kids and I try to eat here at least once a week! It’s family owned and they are such nice people. They know what we want as soon as we walk in… lol the A1 egg rolls are to die for and shrimp in a blanket. Very reasonable prices and a lot of food that is homemade and fresh!

Food was ok, nothing really special. Coconut shrimp was more bread then shrimp. The best thing I had was Thai Tea with boba

Unilocal challenge 2015255⁄365 Nursing the hubsters tooth ache we needed something soft to fill his belly. At the corner of Knott and Katella in the Daiso shopping sits this tiny place offering Phở, rice dishes and vermicelli bowls. Menu displays pictures of every dish so there are no surprises. Chicken vermicelli with veggies was typical. Nothing taste exploding in your mouth, but ut was still good. Huge portion of warm vermicelli, lots of charbroiled chicken and a few veggies snuggled neatly in a large bowl. Table top fish sauce and Hoison sauce complements the dish nicely. The Phở was was just okay according to my patient. The brisket was hard and skimpy. Luckily I don’t ever finish my food so he was able to add more vermicelli and chicken to his brooth. Iced coffee was good but sucked down in a flash. Good news, it was super cheap…2 dinners, egg rolls and iced coffee set us back at about $ 20.00. It was not the best food but not the worse, just somewhere in between. #738

I have never been let down at this place. It’s a mom and pop place so you know the food is going to be amazing and the price is great. I bring all my for ends and family.

2nd time here. Ordered the chicken hot plate and it was tremendously tasty. Food arrived extremely quickly and i was caught off guard, sadly looking like a phone dependent person. Price was very good and i completly enjoyed every single bite of my plate. Definitely recomend for anyone in the area looking for good Vietnamese and Thai cuisine. Great flavor!

Good food at a reasonable price. Mom and Pop place. I always get the Phở, but they have plenty of other items. Another good thing they have is «pictures» on their menu’s so you know what the food looks like.

I have been exposed to a lot of very authentic Vietnamese and Thai food, and this place is more than decent. I live in north oc, westminster and garden grove are about 20 minutes away, so I’m very happy to have found this place.

Just moved to new home couple blocks from this place, so with hungry stomach on early Saturday morning, decided to try phở since it is now the closest place I can get phở. Ah, what a disappointment. Definitely one of the worst phở I have ever tasted. No flavor in the soup. Sub-par meats. Ok noodles, but that is about it. There are so many good vietnamese restaurants around here, so this place I probably will not come back…

This is my favorite go-to spot after a long day of work or school. I’m on the boring side… Chicken phở with egg rolls, every time, without fail. Their chicken phở is pretty standard, nothing that really makes it stick out as better than everything else. HOWEVER. Their egg and spring rolls are to DIE for. And their service is always wonderful! The woman who is usually always the service is the sweetest woman ever. Definitely recommend this place :)

I am sorry for my rating, but it was the one of worst Phở I’ve ever had. Broth had no flavor at all, noodles were not al dente. I ordered Seafood Phở and only things I got were 3 rings of squid, 3 shrimps, 2 fish balls and 4 imitation crabs. I can’t believe they charged this for $ 8!!! After I had this, I just couldn’t get the horrible no flavor taste of broth out of my mouth. Maybe, it was too much MSG… yikes!

The spring rolls were awsome. Everything else was horrible. The padthai was disgusting the sauce was ketchup. The padseew was cut wrong and the sauce was horrible. Stay far far away from this place.

I’ve been almost every store in the 4 corners of this area & never noticed there was a Thai place. On a whim I picked up a order to go. ~ Off the bat there was a communication barrier. I felt like spring rolls & asked what was the most popular. The cashier shrugged & said she did not know. Then I asked what she preferred. Again, I got a shrug. She said, «2 per order… pork…shrimp.» I was a few sentences later of «who’s on 1st» that I realized she was telling me I could get 1 pork &1 shrimp. The sesame sauce that comes with it is amazing!!! The spring rolls were so-so. The pork looked like beef & tasted like neither meat. The shrimp one had 1 shrimp in the entire roll. Maybe no one orders them… that’s why she couldn’t suggest a popular one! ~ Grilled chicken w egg roll on rice is good but lacking in chicken. The egg roll was tasty & crisp. ~ Grilled pork on vermichelli was solid OK but nothing spectacular according to the hubs. Might be back but why… when Thai Nakorn is so close by?!

The GF and I decided on a simple dinner after a work out and after doing some quick and necessary shopping(had to get dog food). We got the Tom Yum with chicken and the spring rolls with tofu. I wasn’t real impressed by the spring rolls(maybe I just like meat), but the Tom Yum was good. After chasing the soup around the chimney, I found it just right(though it did get me questioning). Pardon my following little rant, but I am not clear what the deal is with the chimney for the soup. I know it makes a good place for the flame to go, but it makes it so difficult to serve. You have to chase the good stuff around the canal and the spoon never seems to fit. Argh. OK… Am back. I enjoyed and will probably return. Price was reasonable and the food was good. Worth a try.
