Great courts, I have used for more than 10 years. Lit in evening. Great solid brick wall backboard where 6+ folks can hit. Unable to reserve courts unless affiliated with Stanford, and no parking except pay parking, so best to bike over and use during off-hours. Like having a drop-in club without the cost.

great place to play since it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of campus, and noticeably quieter here. the pros: +lighting! very important during the winter when we have less daylight hours +free parking — be careful of the few spaces that are marked permit only 24/7, otherwise most of the spaces are free after 4pm +bathrooms — right by the parking lot, in front of the tennis courts. no showers though. +well-maintained courts, no noticeable cracks or damaged nets. +court separation by way of partial fencing, so that balls won’t automatically roll onto an adjacent court the cons: –you must be a stanford student or faculty in order to reserve a tennis court(or know someone who is) –at peak hours, or when courts are full, finding a parking space can be tricky

I really felt like being a first reviewer of something… anything… I knew something about. Stanford West Campus Tennis Courts was my best shot. I mean, who else would review tennis courts on Unilocal?Talia G., that’s who. Two months ago. Talia beat me to describing the 8 well-kept courts, the wall for solo hitting, the online court reservation system(Stanford ID required). All I can add is a parking tip: There are some metered parking spaces, and beware of the ones that are reserved 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. They do ticket, at least during the school year.

These are hands down the most well-kept courts I’ve ever had the pleasure to play on. I believe that there are 8 courts and two half-courts with a wall for solo hitting. Courts are available for reservation only, so reserve online here: From my one experience here, the reservation system seemed to work pretty well. The only downside: Court rules state that you can only reserve for one hour per day and no private lessons are allowed.
