I’ve drove by here for weeks wanting to stop but have been unable to. well I was FINALLY able to and do regret having not stopped sooner this place just became my new favorite bbq locally. everything I had was excellent mike even went out of his way for my order to try things. brisket was PERFECT ribs PERFECT pulled pork PERFECT I’m not even done finishing my plate and looking forward to going back. i really hope this place sticks around don’t hesitate give it a try they are tottaly dedicated to making perfect food. and everything is local and fresh made no over commericalized products here. thanks for a perfect lunch guys!

This place is fantastic. I hope it sticks around! I know that many deli’s in this town have come and gone, but this is the place I want to stick around for a long time! I just had the beef Brisket and WHOA… delicious.
The prices are also great as I feel like I got amazing value for my $. Try the Ribs, Pulled Pork and the Brisket plates. Nice place, quality service and I will be telling other people about it.

This is the real thing! I have been to smokehouses all over the US and I can’t recommend this enough. They have both take-​away and a few small tables. They have, mostly, smoked meat sandwiches and platters. But they also have in-​house smoked bacon — IMO the regular bacon is better than the pepper bacon. I keep a bacon diary and this rates up with the best. Pastrami is great — not Katz;s but close. Go there if you like smoke and brine — you will not be disappointed.

I have to start this review with a disclaimer. This is my sister-in-law’s operation. However, even to kin, I am not so generous that I would bother writing a Unilocal review for just any place. I finally was able to get up to Stamford to taste the offerings and oh my goodness, I had hands down the best reuben I have ever had in my life. Katz’s Deli doesn’t even compare. The pastrami they smoke in-​house, the rye bread is local and soft and delicious, they make their own Russian dressing, the cheese is perfectly melted… it is heavenly. After my first bite, I could not stop. Get there and order a reuben with a double side of mac n’ cheese.

took food home & was pleasantly surprised. everything was really good. especially the pulled pork. which was not a bit dry. & the sauces were not too sweet. overall an excellent 1st impression
