My work brings me to Stamford often. Senses is okay for a quick bite but the food you get really depends on your luck. I tried the lamb special today and was very disappointed. It was a pretty good chunk of meat but was rare on the inside.(I can do red. But not when there is blood red oozing out) When I asked if they could cook it a little more, I got a overcooked on the outside still red on the inside. Given it was a special, I didn’t know how much it was until I saw a bill for $ 36. The waitress does love to talk and today seemed to be the only one. So it took me some time to get her attention. I have tried the caesar salad on other occasions and it has been good. Pretty difficult to mess up a salad but mom said I should always try to say something nice. Also, they normally have more than one person on staff. Would recommend that you just take a trip into town. Summer street is a stones throw away and has some pretty good options like Bartacos and Barcelona.

Hotel bar with limited menu but bartender was great and a great choice of beers. Clean opens straight into large lobby so you can get a small football team in here.

If I could zero stars I would because the service was the worst I have ever seen of an establishment. I waited 30 minutes for WATER. I then had to ask for my order to be taken another 5 minutes later. Finally 1 hour and 10 mins went by, before I got my salad. I repeat, a salad. The hotel is upscale, so I was very surprised that the restaurant reflected so poorly.

Senses is in the Hilton Hotel. It’s a hotel bar/restaurant. It is very busy when the hotel is full. There isn’t anything to walk to in the area, so if you don’t feel like taking the shuttle or driving the bar is great. The bartender Liza recommended places to eat at in Stamford. She even wanted to know after the fact how we thought the places were. Overall the food is good, but expensive because it’s in a hotel.

Senses is a good place to get dinner if you don’t want to leave the Hilton. Their shrimp scampi has a generous serving of shrimp and the pasta is cooked perfectly al dente. They also make fairly good steaks. Of course, since this restaurant is located within the hotel, one can expect the prices to be a bit higher than usual but it is also very convenient. I would recommend Senses because the food is overall pretty good and for the convenience factor. The environment is also very casual and lounge-like and the service was great.

A convenient restaurant located inside the Hilton in Stamford. The food is okay, definitely a better alternative to fast food. They have a decent dinner menu with plenty of variety. Quick and prompt service.

Great friendly waitstaff. Fair food, not bad not spectacular. Decent convenient food if staying at the hotel. interesting open floor plan. I enjoyed the seating and looking out over the lobby.
