Unilocal led me to this place when I was in the area. Looks like a decent size restaurant from the outside, but step in and it is a poorly laid out ice cream parlor with a few tables. I ordered the fried chicken thinking it would be fried pieces of chicken on the bone. Ended up being skinless, boneless chicken cutlets served on a plate with fries. Definitely felt like it was overpriced at $ 15 for three pieces, fries and a drink. Worse than the $ 5 fill up boxes at KFC.

I absolutely love the veggie burger here. It seems like its made there(not frozen). The expansion is nice and my kids love the games. There are newer options on the menu that are on my kids favorite list already. Owners are always nice.

So glad to see them expand. Enjoyed my double bacon cheeseburger and curly fries, then downed a large chocolate shake. With a bottle of water and tip, about $ 22. Could obviously gotten out of here for less than $ 15 if I wanted to. Prefer this over Five Guys.

Had excellent service and good food. We had a miscommunication when ordering but they were happy and quick to fix the mistake. Fries are standard but food was cooked to order so everything was hot when I got it. Good family hang out

Ordered for delivery which came 45 minutes late. Food looked faker than McDonald’s. Everything was cold, Shake was completely melted and soupy. Absolutely awful. So disappointed.

Worst chocolate malted I’ve ever had in my life. Watery, no flavor and minimal malt. Like drinking a glass of skim tasteless chocolate milk. So disappointed and $ 5.80? And the truly upsetting thing is that the manager who made it was proud… like he had made a masterpiece.

Stopped in a few times and think I am finally done with this place. Food is decent and the renovations are nice which is why I’m giving it 1 star. The wait for food takes forever and half the time they mess up your order. It’s ridiculously overpriced and pricing is never the same each time I’ve gone. I thought when they first opened that maybe they just needed to work out the ‘kinks’. Well it’s been a year and all the kinks are still there. The renovations spruced it up, but makes it so confusing on where to place your order, then pay. I like the old DairyInn way better! I wish they could bring it back, it’s not what it used to be.

Burgers expensive for what you get… tasteless. And the ice cream is also truly tasteless… such a disappointment

The food is good. That’s why they get 1 star. First time I ordered from here I waited 2 hrs for the food. I let this one slide because it was snowing. I ordered again at 6:20 pm and it’s 8pm right now and no sign of food. When I called 40 minutes ago they said it will be here in 20. Not cool. Will not order from here again. Terrible service. I do not recommend ordering delivery from here. Unless you want to wait forever.

They have gotten better! I hadn’t been back to Mrs. Fleming’s since the summer, but I finally popped in yesterday. The menu has new items on it and even provides healthy choices like grilled chicken and steamed vegetables. The dining room in the back has arcade machines, which makes the place more appealing to kids. Thursdays are kids’ night, where kids can get free ice cream with their meals and get awesome balloon animals(seriously, awesome. The guy can make a balloon man riding a motorcycle). It’s great that Robyn Fleming has put so much effort into making a family restaurant. She changed the menu, added new items, and made the restaurant more kid-friendly. Now they are open later and they deliver!

Top notch burger joint! The service here is always friendly, in fact i’d be happy to make friends with any of the staff i’ve encountered to date! This place is a cornerstone of the Springdale neighborhood, and a shining star for Stamford. Being a self-proclaimed foodie, it’s good to know that on the nights I want to keep it simple there’s a satisfying and easy option walking distance from one of my frequently overnighted abodes. Not the best place if you’re on a diet, but diets are stupid! I’m a sucker for a bacon cheeseburger and chili fries, and with as delicious as Dairy Inn makes them it’s very hard to find the discipline not to go their route more often. They have really good chili, acceptable for the tamer hearts when it comes to spice– though not lacking any flavor. They also have an insane ice cream menu, and make Springdale a very desirable little neighborhood where you can grab a milkshake with your date after walking up the street from the local movie theatre(State Theatre– also a great place) Good place obviously run by good people, and it really brings this part of Stamford together and helps make Springdale such a nice little neighborhood.

Not sure where the good reviews are coming from. Stopped in once a d ordering was so bad and slow I just left. Thought I would try again and went in for ice cream. I ordered a medium soft vanilla cone which was small and frankly pathetic looking. The cashier told me it was $ 3.72. Now that may not seem like a big deal but for what I got and the way it looked. It is bad! Now for that price you would at least think it was good but the quality was poor and it really had no flavor. The cashier even apologized to me as I left. Wouldn’t go back again and frankly don’t think they will be around too long

In a word: inconsistent. For the exact same order, a Philly Cheesesteak, I’ve variously received a sandwich with Cheez Whiz and cooked onions and a sandwich with cheddar and raw onions. I’ve paid $ 7.95, $ 8.50 and $ 9.25, depending on the day. Ice cream orders have been similarly afflicted with price fluctuations. That said, expect all ice cream orders(especially the Frosty) to be highly-priced. For those not willing to make the trip down to Dairy Queen, the Frosty is an acceptable alternative, though if you’ve got a family to feed, Summer Street is a cheaper option. With the demise of Jackie’s To Go, just a block away, I was hopeful that the Dairy Inn could take up some of the slack in the local fast food supply. Until they get their systems straight, though, I can’t recommend.

New sleak look but a very odd configuration that leads to crowding and uncomfortable waiting. The menu is ridiculously large and complicated. Seems like they opened way too early. A lot of the menu is not available, they don’t have the soft serve machine working or even fountain sodas. I ordered a double cheese burger with tomato, mayo and ketchup. After a 15 minute wait, I received a single with lettuce and tomato. They fixed it quickly, which meant the cheese was not melted and they forgot the tomato and ketchup. I have up and ate it as is. Great burgers, crappy bun. I will go back in a few weeks to see if they have worked out the kinks

Dairy Inn, you can do it! We are very happy you opened back up again, thank you! I am confident you will work out the kinks soon. Big menu, with standard fried food fare. The flurries are our go to, soft serve with cookie dough(or really any topping or candy you’d like), are the perfect summer treat. Plenty of places to sit inside, with a TV to keep up with the game. Friendly service, even when stressed with first week busy-ness. Give them a chance, they’ll pull it together.

Stopped in after dinner to try their ice cream, and bam! Got the«brownie delight» with soft serve vanilla. Delish and HUGE. It could definitely be shared between 2 – 3 people. So yummy.
