I really like the food., but only three stars for the service and experience. Buffet is good, but has become pricey lately. If you are looking for Kerala cuisine for a change, try this place. I have never tried their Pizzas though.

On the way back from vet stopped for a takeaway. I love Indian food. Asked for Butter Chicken. Told it was not available which I thought rather odd if they have a chef on premises. I was told they had chicken tikka masala. Fair enough. A staple in London where they say it was invented especially for the western market. I was absolutely clear that I do not like food cooked Pakistani style because they use alot of green and red chili paste. I said I did not want it hot. I was assured no problem. Well, that is exactly what I got. My mouth and palette are numb because of the heat. In talking to an employee I was told they cook South Indian style. So, as soon as I realized my food was not what I wanted or even close to the description on the menu,(chicken tikka cooked in tomato cream sauce) I researched the style. South Indian has so many variants. Then I realized the restaurant was, in fact, Kerala style. I read that because of the abundance of coconuts that this is a big part of cooking. There was no coconut flavor. Once again even in Kerala style there are variants. Vegetarian vs meat and even Muslim vs Christian have differences according to Wikipedia. Now, their chicken curry actually states it is Kerala style, but not the masala. There was nothing further I could have done to avoid the meal I was served. I love Indian food that is mild in heat but rich in layers and spices such as cumin, coriander, tomatoes, garlic, yogurt, coconut. I want to taste the main ingredient. If I want to numb my mouth I can suck on a jalapeño or take a spoon of red or green chili and not even waste my money on an ingredient such as lamb or chicken. Just my opinion and I’ll continue on my search for the complex Indian food I’m used to.

Today I was craving Kerala dishes and helped a place to get it. This place had dosa and idli and some other delicacies that I knew would hit the spot for breakfast. At 845am I called the store and the gentlemen said yah we are open come on by. I drove from the galleria and arrived there at 10am — when the guy said today we are closed for maintenance but we have some snacks? Why didn’t you say that when I called on the phone??? And one dude called the other guy to let me know. The place looked like a hole in the wall but my experience has taught me those are the best type. Well I guess I’ll never find out as I don’t plan on going back. Now I need to find some Kerala food somewhere.

We had buffet one Saturday afternoon and we’re not impressed. There was one tandoori chicken remaining on the buffet table. Even after we requested for more, they didn’t add any more. After U.S. Other people came in and even then. They didn’t add any more chicken. They have an average beef fry and the rest of the items are barely acceptable. I will pass in any future opportunities I may get to eat there.

This place is amazing. If you like cusine from kerala, india. this place is the best in the united states representing this very unique cusine. The people running this is place are very down to earth and they should be charging a lot more. They dont even ask for tip! Amazing place. It is very informal and the dinning area is just the basics. however the food is amazingly good if you are a kerala cusine foodie

There’s no negative stars so I had to give it one star. I went here last Thursday which I think was the 26 of June since we were in this part of town. We were starving so my parents and I went in here for lunch and dined in. From the moment we sat down I noticed the floors were dirty and I spotted two baby roaches and both were alive although one seemed sorta half dead. I wanted to leave but my parents did not want to be rude so we ate lunch there. The food was okay but I couldn’t concentrate because I noticed more baby roaches around the places. By the time I left I counted five baby roaches. The table next to us had not been cleaned either and it had a dirty coffee cup with crumbs on the table. I think this place can be a great restaurant if it was a bit more cleanly. I would come back if the place had no bugs.

This place is located in a rather run down strip mall. The food was ok but they didnt even have menu’s and were very disorganized. Everything was dirty and ice machine was broken. Way better places around the area then this one.

Saw this place passing by on shift and decided to give it a try and turned out to be really good. Came in to a day they were serving South Indian buffet and the spread was simple with a chicken, beef, fish, soup and two veggie curries with a few yogurt options. All of them were delicious although my coworker got freaked out by the bones in the chicken. Other than that it’s a good hole in the wall

I really like this place for Carry out. I recently tried Chicken Tikka Pizza. It tastes really good. The owner of this pizza place(Saaki — I hope i spelled it right) is a really nice guy. This place has parking but not best place for having dinner. As I mentioned earlier, really good take out place. I would like to write more after my future visits.

DONOTEATHERE! Extremely disgusted with the food! The man at the counter was very nice, but food was disgusting. I ordered dinner to go and was quite surprised when the man asked if I wanted it «heated up»??? He. Then brought out a package of porata in a frozen pack and asked if I would like it instead of the naan I ordered because he couldn’t find the naan. ??? He finally found the naan(a frozen store bought package) handed it to me and said it needed to be reheated in the microwave!!! Got home to find an ice cold clump of «peppered chicken». I decided to give it a shot after heating it up. Absolutely horrible-chicken tasted old, dry, and had a chemical aftertaste. Ive eaten at several Indian restuarants in the area and this is by far the WORST!

Authentic south indian, kerala, food. Biriyani is pretty good. They are now remodeling and will start adding pizza(?) to the menu. Probably got the idea from Bombay Pizza :-) They are friendly, and very helpful. Recommend you try. Don’t expect fancy ambiance, but they are very friendly and helpful and food is really good.

Being a Mangalorean, this is the closest that I get to Mangalore food. The coconut-onion chutney ‘chamandi’ is very good. Its a small place with only 4 tables. Staff is friendly. Can get quite crowded on weekends. So better go early. My favorites — Fruit Salad and Avial.

I’m usually not this picky with these kind of whole-in-the-wall type of place… in fact, it’s what attracted me to it in the first place… but the«restaurant» part of this business is terrible… either that or I came in on a really bad day. The flavors were… ok, good… quite tasty actually… but the chicken(and other meats) in the«chicken curry» dish was disgusting. Full of bones(big and little tiny bits and pieces) and fat. I had to slowly chew out the bad chunks on almost every spoonful. That’s very unpleasant. Maybe the catering gets all the good meats while the restaurant gets the leftovers. Who knows. As for the location, there is absolutely nothing charming about it, which makes it very interesting. Man running the business was extremely nice and courteous, and perhaps he would have taken my food back or replaced it, but it was family style serving and I didn’t want to make the rest of my table uncomfortable(they didn’t mind… that much), and we were all running late. You might want to ask about additional charges(taxes and/or credit card«fees») before ordering. I ended up paying $ 8.50 for a $ 6.99ish dish.

This is not meant to be a dine-in restaurant; it is a catering service owned by Mysore Thampy and Sebastian Pala that let’s you eat-in or take out. My brother-in-law and I went in for lunch(on a recommendation on a friend) and chatted up one of the owners Mysore Thampy. He recommended a Kerala fish curry thali(I think he made all that up — it was not on the menu) and then supplemented it with beef dry curry and chicken curry. If you are looking for one time meal these supplements are unnecessary as the thali is already too much. However, I am glad I had them because the beef curry was divine(with dry roasted cocunut strips and curry leaves — umm!). The thali had a huge mound of some kerala variety of thick rice(tasty) and a fanstastic plantain dish(like an Indian subji, not fried plantain) and mouth watering avial(mixed vegetable with yogurt). Thampy brought in a jug of yogurt kaddhi to pour on rice, but we also had that as an apéritif after diluting it with water(on advice from the owner). Thampy also gave us a wonderful wet chutney(I think from Karnataka) and also a semolina noodle desert — all complimentary. All in all it was several people’s meal and to my doctors’ disappointment I ate it all. I will be working out a lot in the next few weeks. The food was so good my brother-in-law and I didn’t talk a word throughout the whole meal and I forgot to take even a picture. Food: five stars.

Food is great! But the restaurant is not even decent. I mean it looks more like a classroom than a restaurant. In other words, take out will be perfect, this is definitely not a dine in place.

This place is AWESOME! Very economical. They don’t have the best looking dining area but I read that they do great take-out and catering business. I’m completely enjoying my butter chicken on this cold night.

hands down the best Indian food I have ever had! Spicy, full of flavor, always pipping hot and great, friendly service! These guys do a lot of catering as well, so if you are looking to throw a party and need some delicious food, this is the place to go to.

Amazing food like no other Indian food. The ingredients/spices used in Kerala are different to the rest of India. Sri Lankan food is closer to Kerala food than the typical Indian food we all know and love. One of the unique and distinguishing spices is a fruit called Garcinia gummi-gutta(syn. G. cambogia, G. quaesita) is a subtropical species of Garcinia native to Indonesia also commonly known as Gambooge, Brindleberry, Brindall berry, Malabar Tamarind, Kodumpuli(Malayalam/Kerala), or Goraka(Sri Lanka). If you have not had food from Kerala before, then start with the Kerala Fish Curry. This will introduce you to the flavor of Garcinia. The move on to the beef fry and all the other standard vegetable curries. Another noteworthy difference to the typical Indian food is the use of Coconut milk in cooking dishes which gives all the food a rich creamy flavor/texture. This is the quintessential hole in the wall… They have a few tables but most people do take-out. Food is bought by the pound in plastics containers. Some of the dishes are spicy. It is a different kind of spicy that the typical India food… the spicy or «hot» nature of the food coming from fresh ground black pepper and the use of roasted red chilly powder. Enjoy.

Ordered from them several times to go for party platters. They are one of the few choices available in the area for South Indian Food and have most of the traditional dishes. Not a place to sit in, but good for on the go. Alot of the items taste adequate enough, same as would be home cooked(nothing special or secret). The Beef ularthu is good. I have to give special mention to both the meat and fish cutlets which were the best and is there is no comparison from other local places.
