I attended and participated in planning a corporate event at Main Event for about 45 – 50 people. Overall, the space is large, clean, and modern. The meeting room we were in was a bit cramped, and we ended up opening up the airwall so we wouldn’t feel so claustrophobic. The walls of the meeting room were also was a bit of an issue because of the lack of access to power outlets, however the staff was accommodating in bringing out extension cords and power strips to fix the power situation. They also provided multiple cables for us to plug in laptops to the wall monitor. The monitor’s picture wasn’t great as there were small lines running through one portion of it, but it worked for a few hours of PowerPoint. For food and beverages, we had breakfast, a morning coffee break and snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, and an open bar, and all of the food and drinks were received very well by our group. Breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, fruit, potatoes, delicious cheesy potatoes, sausage, bacon, yogurt, croissants and muffins. The eggs were the crowd favorite. For lunch, we had fajitas and quesadillas, and by far, the favorite was the creamy queso blanco to dip your chips or top your fajitas. The afternoon snack featured pretzels, hummus, popcorn and candy, but the star of the show was the fresh baked cookies. We all enjoyed having something to snack on during drinks and video games. We bowled for an hour, and then played laser tag as a group. The bowling lanes are nicer than any I’ve ever been to because there are comfortable padded benches and tables to relax and mingle while waiting for your turn. The shoes were clean, and there were plenty of balls in different weights and different sized finger holes. After that, it was time for laser tag, which I think our group enjoyed most of all the activities. Many adults had never done it before, and it’s a lot of fun to shoot your coworkers. To wrap up the event, we played pool or explored the arcade. There were plenty of arcade games to keep adults entertained like Pacman, large scale Connect 4, many racing games, basketball and football throwing games, and of course, Skeeball. I didn’t notice any pinball, which I think would be a nice addition. Games ranged in price from about $.75 to $ 1.75 per play. I enjoyed our event here, and would definitely consider having another corporate event here, or coming to hang out with friends.

This place sucks. They don’t even have a climbing wall. The games cost 1.75?!? R u effin kidding me! Get bent. Stood in line for 15 min to pay and then you have to get back in line to sign up for laser tag but the next three sessions are full. Oh and the line was because they had one person at the register. And the food is crazy expensive and not great with very small portions. Weak.

Okay, I decided to come here to kill some time waiting for a movie to start next door, and I had a wonderful time with my wife. They didn’t have a huge game room but it had a good variety. The games were more recent than Dave and Busters and then there were some that I only saw here. I always avoided this place because of the negative reviews but I’m glad I came yesterday. Can’t comment on the bowling, laser tag, or pool. Overall, I had fun and that’s all I cared about. Will definitely return.

Just celebrated my stepdaughters 10th birthday here. First of all I had Great Service !!! Our party host was Cindy and Kaitlyn !!! They were absolutely amazing !!! We had 20 plus kids and 20 adults !!! Cindy and Kaitlyn did a fantastic job helping with all the kids organized and the flow of the party upbeat !!! The food was fantastic and exceeded my expectations !!! Was prepared fast and served hot and fresh !!! We had one of the larger party rooms and had a nice TV with Texans game on for the adults. Plenty of privacy for our party !!! I will definitely be back . Thank you Cindy, Kaitlyn and the entire staff for making my daughter party so memorable and awesome !!! David Cole

Horrible. The security which was an off duty fort bend officer kicked me out in the middle of playing their arcades. I understand this since they were closing but other people stayed since they just simply ignored him. So this tells me to simply ignore the security next time and never to go back. Dave and Busters is better and friendlier. This place simply does not want you there.

Good family fun at decent prices, but unfortunately a bit dangerous. There was recently a shootout here, so be warned. It also gets pretty crowded here on the weekends so try to come during the week if possible. Other than that I love that it has bowling, laser tag, arcade games and a rope course all under one roof. Good location too.

I went to main event for the first time last night. My friends and I met here for a fun date nite. When we arrived, we were greeted by three nice officers as we walked in. We head toward the bar to get food. When my husband and I tried to sit down to order, one of the waitresses(in a not so nice way) told us that the tables weren’t ready. The tables looked clean but she said she needed to sweep. We waited near by for her to finish cleaning the floors. After sitting, we ordered and our food was brought out. After that our waitress never returned to the table, not even after our friends had joined us. As we were sitting in the bar area, we heard a loud bang and someone yelling. We looked over and it was two of the bartenders arguing with each other. Managers hurried over to keep them from fighting. By this time, I was over the bar and ready to move on. We finally got our waitress’ attention, paid, and went to the bowling area. At the bowling alley, no one came over to ask if we wanted food or drinks. One of my friends actually had to go find a waitress in the area to help us. The waitress came and took our food and drink orders. My friends got their food and drinks and the waitress brought out the wine glasses. I looked at the wine glass and noticed there was lipstick stains around the rim. After about 50 minutes, I still had not received my bottle of wine. The waitress finally came and said they were out of Moscato, so I ordered Chardonnay. She came back and said they were out of wine. I decided to go to the bar and ask if they had any wine. The waitress said yes and that my waitress would have to come get it. That was the last straw, so I asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to the Manager Mark and told him about my situation. He didn’t seem interested in solving the problem at all. I told him about the long wait for the wine and the dirty wine glasses. He said he would bring over the bottle of wine and more wine glasses, but he didn’t. Instead, he sent over someone else from his staff with two wet wine glasses with water and debris floating around in it. Wow! We did laser tag after bowling. The employees told us to unplug the vest, put them on with the gun facing forward, and that was it. They didn’t tell us how to shoot or anything else. We went and played a few games in the arcade and after that, we went to cash in our tickets but there was no one there. How is the prize area closed at 1 am when Main Event closes at 2 am? This was over all a not so good experience. Every department is lacking. This place needs a few workshops on CUSTOMERSERVICE!

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday here over the weekend. The party was a hit, everyone had a great time. The negatives are: 1. For parties with 15 kids or more, there should be 2 party hostesses — 1 to gather bowling shoes and 1 to help with adding names to bowling, etc. 2. I didn’t like that we only had 45 minutes at a private table — we needed more time for setup, eating, singing happy birthday, etc. 3. The package clearly says that the birthday kid gets a $ 15 arcade card — but they tried to cheat me out of it. I literally had to have each card swiped to find the $ 15 which wasn’t included. The manager gave it to me, though, to honor the advertisement. 4. Laser tag is supposed to last 15 minutes, however, the kids were in there for 10 minutes — with other people from other parties — and many of the kids guns didn’t work. Pros: 1. Great venue with lots of fun options for the kids.

We went on a Wednesday night and it was so calm and great customer service from the bar. If you want to go and hang out for drinks this is the place to try. Many activities to do, lots of TV’s and good music. Tho the place is targeted for kids and teens, on their school nights are the days for adults to come and enjoy without all the kiddos running around! I wasn’t a big fan of the street tacos, but the drinks were good.

A little pricey but for what they offer not a bad deal I guess. Had fun with friends playing pacman, arm wrestling game, and a bunch of other cool things. Lot of people there for atmosphere and friendly staff.

The place is surely fun but it can be petty expensive also. This location has, bowling, laser tag, skywalk, arcade games, bar, like 50 TVs on sports channels and more. All that fun in one building should not disappoint any child but it’s not very easy to hold my attention span especially while thinking of the prices.

I gave my daughter’s birthday party here, and it was a hit. The party packages are great, and you get your money’s worth. We got the package that included pizza, bowling, and a fun card. There was never a dull moment for the kids. There is something for everyone to do at this place, till it worked out for my male guest to play pool, while the kiddos bowled, and the moms chatted. The food is pretty good here, so it’s great for a date. I must admit after a certain hour on the weekend, it turns into a teenager spot, and I like to avoid that crowd. It’s easy to find, and there is a lot of parking available. They always run specials, like $ 9.95 for 3 activities on a Monday! The Main Event is nice, pay a visit!

Need a better system on Monday. More help and better customer service. The kids running this place don’t even give a shit about the customer or even care to smile. The one in San Antonio was way better. Motivate your staff a little better.

Kids like this place? Me personally I think it is over priced and it does not have enough things for younger children. I purchased 4 $ 17.95 fun passes for children ages 10, 11, 4 and one for myself. Spending close to $ 80. My 4 year old was told he was too short to do almost all the activities so that was a total waste of $ 17.95 and since he could not participate I couldn’t either. I feel like they should cater to all ages and maybe offer a $ 10 game card included for small kids with the special. The arcade games are VERY expensive. 1.50+ per game. Dave and buster and chuck e cheese beats this any day more for your money. I would never consider a party at this place. Parents think twice if you have children under 5.

The District Manager reached out to me and was very eager to have an opportunity to have me revisit. However, my schedule for the end of the school year was too busy. Thankfully, my son’s middle school ochestra visited Main Event for their end of year celebration. I schooled him on taking notes about his experience. He returned home with an exuberant desire to go back. He reported that they did not have to wait very long for their food or drinks and the staff was very very nice and patient with all of the kids. Thank you Main Event for making my child’s experience memorable.

Came here to watch the game with my husband. I have to say. .having been to many establishments that show sports games, especially the fate of your own home team continuing in the finals… was incredibly disappointed. Not ONCE… have I ever had the business just simply shut the TV’s off. We were in the last 5 min of the game and CUT! Unreal! To me that just speaks volumes of bad management… we spent about $ 60…coming expecting to watch the game. Not good business ATALL. All establishments I have been to, no matter what time they close. .as a courtesy will stay open ONLY for the current paying customers until done. On another note. .Jermaine was a great waiter. .food was good.

Celebrated my daughters birthday and we had a blast. Cindy was our hostess during the experience and she was more than helpful. Even after our party was over she sought me out just to make sure I was having a great time. Apparently the laser tag equipment wasn’t functioning properly cause there was no way I came in last place the way I was knocking off everybody.(Silent Sniper) And oh, can’t go wrong with a bar right? The drinks aren’t that expensive but they aren’t strong either so I just played it safe and ordered a beer. Why chance it?

This place is terrible. Worst service ever. Stick with Dave and Busters. Or go to Katy location. Bad food, bad service, they need to hire some people that are not totally lazy. Spin dip tastes like dog meat.
