This place is located inland in a quiet spot that want to noisy from traffic. The rooms seemed recently renovated, the decorations were colourful. The place was clean. Check-in was quick & the staff was nice. No complaints.

The hotel has been renovated nicely. However there are several areas that need improvement. We had a handicapped room with a roll in shower. However there was no shelf or area to put soap on. Also the sinks all have very sharp corners. The room is advertised as a king but only has a queen size bed which is much too high. The common are is nice and the breakfast was very good. However the tables are too small. You can bearly get two plates and cups on the table. On the plus side the staff was very courteous and the facility was in excellent shape.

Took a family vacation to St. Simons Island. The first thing we noticed when we got to the hotel was that the outside was well kept, looked clean, and was in a good area. When we got inside that was a different story. The building was doing some internal renovations so there was the smell of sawdust the first day we were there. The other things we noticed was that our room was a bit small and the door to the restroom wouldnt close all the way other than that they left the fridge open so we had access to all the breakfast foods such as milk and yogurt all day/night as well as oatmeal and cereal. One of the best things about this place was that we had access to The Club which was a gym across the street which has a heated outdoor pool, 2 rooms for weight lifting, basketball courts, classes and the whole 9 yards. The hotel was in a good location and was driving distance to the beach, grocery store as well as the gym. Overall I thought this place was good to stay at. The biggest thing that kept me from giving this hotel 4 stars was that this place was under construction. The bad: small room, door in bathroom was hard to close, there was major construction in the building while we were there. The good: the breakfast was good! The service was very responsive, the location was in a good area, they let us into a nice gym with classes(i.e. zumba, yoga, spin class). The beach was 10 minutes away.

A bit hard to find because of the sign regulations on St. Simons Island. Small sign with small writing. Arrived and front desk was very helpful and fast in our checkin process. Got into room and found a very small room. The room was barely updated with bad craftsmanship of the bathroom fixtures and the room didn’t smell fresh. I immediately turned on the A/C to help get rid of smell. The beds were made nicely with fresh sheets and pillows with no evidence of foreign things. The TV remote was spotty at best because it was controlling a Comcast cable box.(If I could Unilocal Comcast, it would be a negative 5 stars) Not sure why a hotel of this size doesn’t have satellite TV with HD channels. The bed itself was very firm which a lot people like but I was expecting more of a plush bed. The breakfast is ok. Nothing to get too excited about. The hotel charged us more than what was quoted. We are trying to rectify that now as we speak. The back door is insecure as you didn’t need a key card to get into bundling which isn’t very safe. Just pull the door and voila, you are in the back way. The price is more than what I was expecting in a hotel on St. Simons Island. Should be better.

Stayed one night, checked out and went to another hotel. The location is great, the prices are reasonable, the room is super clean, but the beds are rock hard. The staff was friendly and didn’t charge us for the 2nd night. Apparently they will be remodeling soon. It’s a shame the beds are so uncomfy because otherwise this is a nice spot. There were a few other quirks– outlet by the bed was almost impossible to reach(had to push the bed around), and the bathroom door had 2 positions: open or closed. If you leave it cracked, it slowly swings back on you. Could have just been a problem with our particular room. I wouldn’t recommend this place until they fix the bed situation.

Not very happy with our stay so far. No fridge in the room. Warm pool. Bathroom smells funny. Ice machine was broken. And that was just in the first 6 hours of our stay!

It’s your typical holiday inn express; clean, good rooms, good a/c, free breakfast, nice little pool outside to cool off at after baking at the beach; and the people who work here are very nice.

Nicely remodeled island accomodations. We enjoyed our brief stay, and would stay there again!
