Wave Pool and Grill Store

I can’t speak for the pool portion of this business, but the BBQ/​grill selection is fabulous if you’re looking for Weber products! They have an awesome selection of Weber grills and smokers at decent prices. Their accessories, such as thermometer probe systems, wood, and grilling utensils is fantastic.
More importantly (to me) their staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. They were able to answer all my questions and chatted with me about where to find products they didn’t have or couldn’t get. The store is very clean — a little cluttered with inventory, but clean nonetheless. This is one place I’ll certainly be returning to!

I bought a Weber grill from Wave Pool and Grill Store yesterday. I did a lot of research before selecting the model and when I decided to buy it I went to these guys because I would rather support a small local business than buy at a big box store like HD. I am so glad I did. This store advertises itself to have the largest selection of Weber grills in Pinellas County and I believe it. The store is well stocked with everything you could possibly need to do some very serious grilling. The store manager showed me the grill I wanted and explained the features and how to get started. They even delivered and set it up on my lanai for me in less than an hour after I bought it. Their product offerings are huge, their staff are knowledgeable and very friendly, and their customer service is A++. This was my first experience with Wave Pool and Grill Store, but after receiving such good service I will definitely recommend them and I plan to go back to them whenever I need lump charcoal and other grilling accessories. I am giving 5 stars for customer service and quality products! WOW! I am totally impressed.
Everyone and the store was extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. We went in there at 5 pm chose the Genesis 330 in copper, plus cast iron grill grate and other items recommended by 3 people in the store and had it delivered! yes delivered to our house by 6:00 pm… with detailed instructions by both Pat and Tom and even a recipe for grouper!!! This is what America is about. Quality all the way… Cheers!

I visited this store today for the first time and was so impressed with the two fellows who assisted me, first one the phone then Tom in person. Tom’s attitude was so helpful, I had to ask if he was the owner. He was so very helpful, friendly and knowledgable. Tom is a definite asset to your store and you are lucky to have such a competent employee. I’m going to buy a new grill and accessories from you and you will be my grill store from now on.

I have been getting my pool supplies here for at least 18 years. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. And they give you free tootsie rolls on your way out! :)

Although we normally use Pinch a Penny, my wife to the Wave when I was out of town as our pool developed some algae. She took a water sample to the Wave and they sold her over $ 100 worth of various chemicals to «fix» the pool. When I came home, the pool was so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. It looks as if someone had poured gallons of milk into it. I tried to clean the filter as it was covered in a thick white, slimy paste. I eventually replaced the canister filter and over a period of 3 weeks, got the pool back to normal. Since we had only used one container of the shock (they actually told my wife to use 3 containers) my wife took the other chemicals back for a refund. The folks there were rude and pointed out a sign in the back of the store that said they don’t take chemicals back. Much better service with a smile at Pinch a Penny. Won’t be going back to the Wave.

The best weber dealer in the city. Stopped by at 2:30 on a Sunday bought a performer platinum matching amazons price by the way, they assembled and delivered for free by 4:45! I will be sending everyone I know there! Thanks for being consumer friendly and wanting to go the extra mile to make a lifelong customer.

This store has the products we need mostly when needed. The every day supplies are there. It is the repair and parts that may delay due to ordering when not in inventory. Have gotten a few wrong pieces from them. However, they do not try to up sell or oversell products to us. Like their recommendation of liquid chlorine vs the powder that was giving us a slight problem. Their advice is sound, spot on and proven for our pool needs. The staff is knowledgeable and personable. Prices have been better than Pinch a Penny consistently and better or equal to Leslie. Parking is a plus over the closest leslie to us. Quick in and out.
