I bought a 4-massage pack. Trying to get appts. is a pain. When you *need* a massage, you don’t want to have to book a couple of months ahead for an appointment. Never again!

Best place in town for authentic yoga classes. Intimate, serene space with experienced instructors.

I’m a St. Pete local and I have tried a many a yoga studios and massage places here and I can say for sure this one is my favorite! They have yoga classes from beginners to advance and everything in between including meditation classes which can be hard to find. The class sizes are small and unintimidating. You will not find that competitive feel like you get at some of the big studios. The teachers are all fabulous! I especially love Jeff’s classes the best. The studio space is pretty and clean and well decorated. The massage studio is located directly next door to the yoga studio. They also do reiki and pranic healing. It is very beautiful and the massage room is a very peaceful and relaxing space to be in. The massage therapist is the best! I think I’ve had the best massages of my life there for real! Not only is the massage therapist the best at what he does, he is also very kind, friendly, and funny. I highly recommend this place to every one looking for massage or a fantastic yoga studio!

I booked a massage here with a Living Social deal. When I booked the appt, I realized there is only one therapist available and it’s a male therapist. Now, I don’t have a problem with this, but as a former LMT myself, I know there are some who will only book with female therapist, so I think the therapist info should at least be stated somewhere on the site so that people know ahead of time that there is not option for a female therapist. The web site sort of makes it appear like there are multiple therapists available there. Or maybe there is, and I overlooked it, but I was not able to find any. When I arrived, the therapist did not introduce himself at all. He just handed me a clipboard and said, «Fill this out please.» He was not unpleasant, I was just really caught off guard that there was absolutely no introduction whatsoever, when this was the first time meeting a new client. The paperwork specifically asks what areas you’d like the therapist to focus on, what you’d like to accomplish during the session, etc. I was very specific about a couple of key areas I needed help with on the paperwork, and while the massage was relaxing, the therapist paid *no* attention to those areas at all! For a 90 minute, deep tissue massage, there was plenty of time to spend at least a little bit of time on the neck and the one other area I needed some work. If you’re going to ask those questions on the paperwork, it’s important to follow through with them in the session, otherwise people leave feeling cheated. I understand with these Living Social and Groupon deals, a lot of times therapists end up making hardly anything from it, which can be very frustrating(I try to tip as much as I can to counter this), but if the purpose of running the deal is to get people to come back and generate good word of mouth so that more people will come to you, it’s important to treat the people who come in with the coupons just like regular paying clients and to give them the same kind of attention, otherwise it’s not going to do the business any good. I’m not sure if that’s what happened here or not, I just know I won’t be returning for another massage.
