I have 3 boys (11 6 and 2) the youngest was just recently diagnosed with autism so I was very nervous about how he was going to react with going to the Dentist. The first visit went perfect, very sensory friendly office with a separate quite waiting room if needed. They gave me a quick tour of the office and great everyday oral care tips to reduce my youngest anxiety towards his dental checkups.
Today was our second visit and my youngest actually went back for his cleaning without me!!! This is how wonderful the staff is. Very professional and caring, it feels like family .
My oldest, who has an expander, is the only one who sees Dr Ruso and I just can’t emphasize how happy I am with the care he provides for my child. From the expander fitting to his checkups Dr Ruso and staff makes sure my oldest is comfortable and aware of his progress.
If you are looking for a great Pediatric Dentist or Orthodontist Shiny Happy Smiles is your place. I am beyond happy with Dr Silver, Dr Ruso, and staff.

My son had a cavity filled recently and was scared; he started panicking when he got into the chair. Doreen, Dr. Silver’s Dental Assistant, was wonderful. She explained everything they were going to do and let him touch all the instruments to see they weren’t very sharp. She was calm and patient with him and he calmed down. I am so very grateful for this office.
I want to also mention Martha. She took us on a tour of the office on our first visit and showed us everything. She has such a calm demeanor — she relaxed my son from the first visit.

I’m jealous I wasn’t able to go to my son’s first appointment with him and that my husband got to go. I heard nothing but awesome things about the office and staff. My son says he LOVES this dentist office and coming from him, this is waaay abnormal, but in a good way! He’s usually terrified of going to the dentist, but said he felt very at ease here. His visit is all he talked about all night after his appointment. :)
My husband said the office is very high tech and all bright colors and cool features for the kids. Dr. Silver was very friendly and explained everything about our son’s teeth and what needed to be done. The ladies that I talked to on the phone were very friendly and prompt with responding back about insurance information and appointment times. This office also sends email and text reminders for appointments and confirmation of next appointments. Which for me personally, makes life so much easier!
