Absolutely awesome experience. Cory was super helpful in recommending places around town to paddle and see wildlife. He met me and my wife in Northshore Park and delivered our boards right to the water’s edge. Spent the whole afternoon paddling in between a school of dolphins and chasing sailboats in the harbor. Would recommend to anyone eager to try SUP and get out in the sun!

My husband and I had a great time paddle boarding. It was our first time out and Cory was super helpful with delivering boards (only $ 5/​board) and recommending areas for beginners. Saw lots of Dolphins up close and huge schools of fish!

Greatest experience ever, seriously, even better than my first born! Caution, this place may cause you to leave your job, wife and kids, rethink your entire life, it’s that awesome. Where else can you rent a paddle board at a more than reasonable price, but more than that, from a unicorn. Very down to earth people and know their stuff. They don’t just have a supply of general paddle boards, they make and design them themselves. Guy that helped me out was Cory, passionate dude that makes sure you get to enjoy every minute of your time with the boards. Didn’t have a way to transport the boards we rented, so Cory just loaded them up in his SUV and followed us to our beach location and not only did he give us a quick lesson, but brought out a couple different board styles to make sure we got the one we were most comfortable with. C-​Ride paddle boards are a solid investment. They are designed in-​house, and construction compares to other top quality boards out there. Boards are super strong but still very lightweight. Many companies do not divulge their construction information, so you are left to wonder about the quality of the materials used. At C-​Ride it is very easy to get this information, and if you want to know more you can simply call or walk into the shop and Cory (owner and board designer) will answer all your questions, and show you the materials used in board construction. Additionally, Cory is super friendly, is invested in continuing to build the paddle boarding community in St Pete, and goes way above and beyond normal customer service to ensure that you are happy with your board and your experience at C-​Ride.
One more thing that deserves review is the bottom contour of the board. Most recreational/“all-around” boards have a gentle rocker (nose to tail curve) and a flat bottom (side to side) which makes the board very maneuverable. There are a couple companies that have a double-​concave bottom design which means the rails and center line of the board are slightly ‘taller’ and cut into the water a bit more which is supposed to help with tracking. C-​Ride boards have an innovative blend of the two designs with a flat bottom at the nose transitioning to a double concave about two thirds of the way towards the tail. A good blend of maneuverability and tracking.

Best place to rent paddle boards! My boyfriend called for two boards and they were so relaxed. Got two for an entire saturday at a very reasonable price! Everyone else we called were very overpriced and wouldnt let us pick up the boards and take them to our own spot. We will definitely be coming back!

He’s out every Sunday for free board demos and schedules appointments. Try them all out at no cost to you. If you choose to buy one you won’t be disappointed, Your cost will be lower than others because there is no middleman and he makes them and sells them direct to you. I started with the first generation board (NinjaFit) and now I’m on the C-​Ride hybrid and it’s great, cuts through any water condition. Customers come first with Cory and the team. Best paddleboard prices in St. Petersburg/​Clearwater area! Easy to find and flexible on rental timing. Cory was very helpful, informative, and friendly. My husband and I loved our ride. We rented the boards for ½ the day and started at Coffee Pot park then paddled to the St. Petersburg marina and had lunch at Fresco’s. Cory was nice enough to pick us up from there and drive us back to our car. The day was amazing!

As a first-​time paddleboarder, and someone who lacks balance and coordination, I was nervous to fall in. Cory and NinjaFfit did a great job of teaching the basics to make me feel at ease and help me learn the right technique from the beginning. Cory also showed us some of the tricks and things you can do when you’re more advanced than me. It was an absolute blast and I can’t wait to paddleboard again! He has great equipment and is really helpful.

Went on a recent SUP tour with Cory at Ninjafit. We had a group of 5, all at various skill levels. Cory spent time with each person, customized their equipment and reviewed proper technique. Cory was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to spend the day with. I would strongly recommend he and Ninjafit to anyone looking for SUP equipment and activities.
