Quality 1 Movers

A friend recommended Quality 1 movers. He said they moved him very quickly and efficiently. On June 3^rd I hired Quality to move me from a 1^st floor 2 bedroom apartment in south st Louis to a 2 bedroom house less than a mile away. Movers Matt, Murdoch and Dillion arrived.
Murdoch stated that I was extremely organized everything was packed and ready to be moved. I expected a quick move. Did NOT get it.
I was NOT moving my sofa, ottoman, rug and bed frame a friend was coming to pick them up. I had all our clothes bagged and I was moving those items myself (thankfully so).
Matt spent too much time having conversation with me and making observations about my furniture quality. I did want to appear rude by saying can you cut the chit chat. The other two Murdoch and Dillon were very friendly worked efficiently with little talk. I was moving my bags to my SUV.
My move took way to long. My friends 18 year old son was at the house. He assisted in unloading the truck at that point I was very frustrated it nearly 6 hours to pack the truck and unload the truck. I let Matt know that it took way too long for a simple move.
What I thought would be a quick and efficient move. Ended up being an expensive and very frustrating move.
I have two friends planning upcoming moves and they asked me if Quality was worth it. My response was NO.

Just wanted to make sure I did my review for quality 1 Movers. They helped me move from Troy MO to St Peters on April 13, 2016. These guys were very professional. They were kind and courteous and took excellent care of my things and were fast and efficient. They are almost most half the price of their competition. I will never use anyone else. Great job guys!!!

The best moving experience! I had a few appliances that I needed moved and these guys were amazing to work with! They even drove my uhaul box truck for me so that I would not have to! I will definitely use them and and recommend them to everyone. Very professional, timely, and great at what they do! Best moving experience I have ever had!

I’ve had them do 2 moves for me (one in Hazelwood and one in St. Louis), and they did a FANTASTIC JOB! Adrian is a well-​manner, kind person, and he will work with you in order to make sure that you get the kind of moving experience that you want. He’s flexible, reliable, and I’ll be using him again for yet a 3^rd move! Way to go! :)

Tony and Matt did a fabulous job. These guys are very good! Reliable, friendly and very hard working. They handled all the packaging and moving without any damage to furniture or scratches to walls etc.

We recently moved locally and did most of the move ourselves but hired them to move about a dozen heavy items for us. Easy to book. Two guys did the move and were very professional and worked hard. They were kind and were careful with our things. No hesitation in recommending this company. We would use them againin the future.

1. They went way over the time I purchased. They under estimated the move, didn’t work very hard, and we’re smoking in my rental truck.
2. They offered to help my load my car on a trailer. There were straps that went over the front wheels. Those straps were completely off by the time I had to stop for gas. They are lucky my car didn’t fall off the back of the trailer!
3. The didn’t load one of my televisions in a protective way. The screen completely shattered. When I called to inform them of this, they asked me to send pictures. The woman said she had what she needed and said the owner would take care of it. I threw the tv in a dumpster. Hours later they asked for more photos. When I told them I wasn’t going to fish the TV out of the dumpster, they refused to take ownership of the issue.
4. I don’t mind that they had a «trainee» pack the truck, but I don’t expect to have that training moment cost me money and a television.
These guys are CHEAP, and now I know why. Hiring this company will cost you more in the end. Find someone else.

Quality 1 movers were fantastic. The unload of a 26′ uhaul took 1 hr 40 minutes. Brandon and James were fantastic and knew exactly what to do. The move was from Seattle and i was stressed a bit but these guys made it stress free. Took us another 35 min to assemble everything. Total bill was for 3 hrs. I should mention I’m a Seahawks fan and they are misguided Rams fans and we still all got along.

The team at Quality 1 was very friendly and helpful. I moved to StL from out of state and needed help unloading my furniture and boxes. I did not have an appointment and I didn’t know who to call. A local business referred these guys and they showed up the next morning and unloaded everything in just about an hour. They were very careful with my furniture, especially when taking it up the tight stairs to the second floor. I would definitely call these guys again!
