Ok. I think this place is way over rated. The service was great the lady at the counter was very nice. However the food was mediocre. I had the blackened grouper which was drowned in butter and not blackened. The grilled grouper was the same drowned in butter. My kids hamburger was perfect and looked great. Three kids meals and two grouper meals came to $ 57.

Great casual place on the water at Pass-a-grill. Both tourists and locals eat here. We had the fried grouper platter with fries and coleslaw. The grouper was caught local and the portion was huge… The size of two human hands! Breaded perfectly with a blend including cracker meal. Alcohol is served with a decent selection of beer but no liquor. However, they offer a very refreshing strawberry daiquiri substituting a wine based liquor. Of course, no alcohol is allowed on this beach so you cannot order beer and take it to your chair like Sunset beach.

Pretty average prices, average food, but GREAT location. The only place truly on the beach. Drinks were relatively cheap. Not a restaurant though, you just order your food at the counter.

Not«restaurant» but just a nice little beach bar that has a good variety of beer but only wine based liquor so if you’re craving a real beach drink this isn’t the place.

This is a good choice if you’re in Passé-a-grille. It’s fairly inexpensive(burgers are about $ 10), decent food.(Beachside«good» food is hard to come by) Their burgers are good if you’re hungry and just need something to eat. It’s inexpensive. There is live music at times. Seating is only outside. There are bird deterrents, fishing line strung over the area to keep birds away. My only warning is BEES. We were swarmed by bees. No one was stung. But, just FYI.

Fun place. Great location. Go at sunset for a beer and the great view. The fish sandwiches are good. Watch out for the seagulls. Don’t take your food off the patio.

The fries and opinion rings were cold and greasy when delivered to the table. And the cheeseburgers were not cooked medium rare as requested, but beyond well!-done with any flavor cooked out of them. We asked for new onion rings and fries and we’re treated to the same onion rings. They just threw them back in oil fir a minute and brought them back out on the same styroplate. I recognized it as it had a small piece missing. We never did get more fries. The woman at the window took my money and left me standing there while her supervisor interrupted her and another employee to have a conversation. The total bill was $ 31 for 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries, an order of onion rings &2 Pepsis. Just another example of overpriced, bad, greasy beach food(change your cooking oil once in a while, folks), and crappy service. Nice enough view of the beach, but if you visit, you’d be well-advised to bring your own food and drink. Since I heard a few complaints from people around us, I’m guessing the owners and their friend are the ones writing their own glowing reviews, because I didn’t recognize the place they were talking about as the Paradise Grille. I understand it’s just a beach walk-up, but at the very least, I expect to get what I’m paying for. Instead the experience ruined what was a nice day at the beach.

Great view and great food! Charming Pass-A-Grille sets the tone for this snack shack on the beach. Perfect for vacationers wanting to stay outside and soak up the sunshine while eating and chatting it up with locals. Especially love the breakfast! Wake up early and walk down the beach from your hotel. Just make sure to stay under the lines strung above or the seagulls will get you!

We picked this place for one reason a previous person said it is a great place to watch the sun go down. So we came here to see the last sunset of 2015. I had blue cheese burger and my wife the fried shrimp. She rated her meal as a 3 and I give mine a 4. It is walk up to order find a table and they bring the food out. Food was reasonably priced considering it is on the beach. The atmosphere and the view is 5 star there happened to be decent live music, vendors selling local jewelry and art. Just a fun place to be.

All three stars are earned with the location. On a Monday morning, I stood in line for over half an hour to order. Then it took another half an hour for my food to get to me, and it was cold. I’m not sure how long it would take food to cool off on an 85 degree day, but I’m gonna say I’m not having high expectations here. This said, I’d go again just to have french toast, essentially, on the beach.

Breakfast was yummy! Had the French toast. They also had corn hole to play and cheap drinks.

Nice spot on the beach. I Had a club sandwich and my girlfriend had a grilled cheese We both had and a beer(there was a great selection) Located on the beach as were entertained by several jumping Dolphins. Friendly staff and great weather We had been looking for eggs or breakfast and arrived at 1145. Breakfast ends at 11:30. Was great nonetheless.

Four stars for location, friendly crew, and beer selection, three stars for food. Decent place to grab lunch on the very best beach in all of Saint Petersburg. Will be back :-)

Great location, reasonable prices, large portions. Pancakes are really big, large enough to split. The everything omelet is awesome and comes with toast and potatoes.

Killer little spot right on the water with breakfast for 7 – 8 $. No hollandaise but descent food for a good price. Super friendly staff, plenty of seating and cold beers for 2 – 5 $. There’s also a one man band performing covers of Bob that actually sound really good, we couldn’t be more content 8).

They’ll give you a discount if you rate them on trip advisor and show them proof. That and the fact that it takes a while for the food and make me not give them the full 5 stars.(I didn’t.) The breakfast is surprisingly good for a little tiki consession stand-looking place. The lunch isn’t served ’til sorta late if I remember correctly. They have some shade and some sun tables. Birds do not bother you up on the patio. There was live music on Friday evening when I went. The sunset is exactly perpendicular to the horizon if that makes sense, right out front and center. As far as the beach goes, it’s worth the drive to the end of St. Pete beach for going w/kids. The water is shallow for a long distance, there’re never waves, the water has been so clear, the walk from the parking is short. There’s a shower, there’re bathrooms, and of course real food! There’s even a ramp on either side for a stroller. There’s shade in the morning too. Go there if you have kids!

Take me down to a Paradise Grill. Where the grass is green. And the girls are pretty. Paradise Grill is quite unique because it’s the only outdoor grill located on Pass A Grille Beach. It’s RIGHTON the beach. It’s not really a restaurant. It’s more like an big elaborate concession stand. I can’t vouch for the food but my beer was icy cold and reasonably priced. The patio contains picnic tables and umbrellas overlooking the beach.

Paradise Grille is the perfect spot for breakfast on the beach. The menu doesn’t have much of a variety but all the breakfast basics are available. I had the blueberry pancakes which were pretty good. The coffee was awful so I would opt for an orange juice on my next visit. I will definitely be returning the next time I visit St. Petersburg.

Did not get the chance to try their food because we had just eaten breakfast and were walking the beach. The atmosphere was very laid back and there were lines due to the beach being crowded on a beautiful Mother’s Day. The live music was great to listen to. I definitely plan on stopping back by to grab an adult bevvy and a snack next time I visit Pass-a-Grille Beach.
