We went to see «My Antonio» since there were complimentary tickets through Goldstar. I found the actress a little annoying with her accent. However, the storyline was pretty solid, so the play itself was pretty good. However, I would have liked a better set to tell the story. The Log Theater in Exclesior is probably the nicest I have seen and the Garage Theater is probably next. This place certainly needs to have a facelift. Seating was not ideal since it felt like stadium seating outdoors with metal platforms. Plus, it was a bit crowded which made it more closed off.

Like Unilocaler John J, I saw Bent here last night. This is a fantastic play — definitely worth your while.
This is not your usual theater with theater style seating. There are a lot of bad seats in the house, especially for a short person. My best advice is to get there early. Never fear! They have a bar, so you can have a cocktail while you wait, or sip something throughout the entire performance.

Went to see Bent at the Lowry tonight. Powerful performance. Only running one more week. Fit this into your schedule. You won’t be disappointed.
