Station House

Appreciate the owner comment on my previous review and went back and gave them another shot. Still like the overall vibe, and service was much, much better, but it was still kind of a random and weird place (not necessarily a bad thing). Tiny.

I didnt know about this place until my friends band played there. I walked in and was greeted by a guy who stamped my hand — no cover charge. The bar has a small main floor, upstairs floor and a really big patio. with two bonfires. since it was unusually cold in St Louis. I really liked the fact they have the St Louis brewers on tap. Urban Chestnut, Four Hands, Perennial. The band played upstairs and the space is tight. w the bathrooms on the top floor. You can easily hear the band on the main floor. I’d come back to this bar again. I’d like to party on their patio when the weather warms up.

Ditto to all that has been said about Station House. This place is a great new local watering hole option. It is tucked away so if you aren’t looking for it, you would never find it. I met up there with a group of friends on a Friday night and man did we have fun! We cozied up to the bar and made great conversation with the bartender/​owner Zane. He was FANTASTIC! So personable and everything you could want in a local bar owner. He loves all things STL and that shows throughout the bar. There is STL deocr everywhere and even an amazing light up Kingshighway street sign that the owner found in at a dump. He took us on a tour upstairs which is a huge space and there is an impressive outside beer garden area. All local STL brews on tap as well which I greatly appreciate. I like you Station House, I think you will be seeing lots of me.

Great new bar in south city. Located just off of choteau near grand, Station House is the perfect location from home. They sell mostly all Saint Louis craft beer (and even local liquor) which is what you should be drinking in STL anyways! We had beers from Alpha, 4Hands, Schlafly, and Urban Chestnut. Perfect destination if you want a selection but can’t go brewery hopping. There is an awesome outdoor space and second story area as well. The staff and owners were great! We’ll definitely be back!

Dig it. Brand new bar near SLU, right off Chouteau and Grand. The first floor is small, but the patio is massive, it was too cold to hang out there, but I look forward to going back again and checking out the beer garden. I loved how the owners embrace St. Louis-​all STL brews on tap (Perennial, Schlafly, Civil Life and more) and a massive South Kingshighway sign adorns the wall.
Staff was friendly.
