Beautiful view!!! But the food isn’t as good as I anticipated. Wait staff is very nice and the place is really clean and fun! The outside patio is really fun, lots of happy people and fun music, not to mention the spectacular view!

I just had the steak tips and crab dip after crashing some friends dinner party. The waitress Shawna was super customer focused, sweet, and best of all labeled all the food in the to go boxes. Moe, the chef came out personally to see how the food was and asked for our feedback which was appreciated by the whole table. Definitely going to come back to eat a seafood meal before they close for the season.

If it wasn’t required i would not use a 1 star rating i used to love coming here the atmosphere is very nice last i experienced by far the worst service and manner from the our server and the manager we were greeted by the most unfriendly server waited 15 minutes for her to get our drink order we placed our appitizer we waited over 35 minutes she came to the table once after we complained where our appitizer was she seemed more bothered that she had to come to our table then she brought out our appitizer and salads at the same time at the point i refused the appitizer then it went from worse to even worse she had someone else bring the food out when we asked for the bill she came and threw it on the table as if we were dogs never came to apologize for her rude service or asked how our meal was if we needed anything way to go to have managers that can’t even manage their staff then being charged for something we didn’t have or eat stay away TERRIBLE!!!

Service was slow but it appeared understaffed so I get it. At least we had drinks. Soups came with dinner, not before. Waitress was nice, joked around with us so no complaints there. She was on top of drinks so I know not her fault for slow food. But the food, wow… pretty terrible. Well, what I had. And I typically do not say that. I’ll say«eh, its bar food» or «your standard chicken tender» but this was not good. Split the lobster pot pie. Huge but do not waste the money. Tasted like beef stew.(beef base for seafood?) And the lobster tail was very tiny and very very overcooked. Lobster has a small threshold; its great when cooked right, but if you overcook, its really gross and rubbery. Chowder was all potatoes. Fried pickles with ranch were a good snack.

Just left there and I will be back. Always went there for drinks on the patio but tonight I ate dinner there and let me tell you it was amazing. Had the surf and turf and was great. Steak cooked perfect and the lobster was incredible. I will be back soon

Will not return. SLOW service for a Monday lunch party of four. Food was not remotely fresh. Everything in this restaurant looked like it needed a triple cleaning. Especially the bathrooms. Not ever again.

I’ve been here a couple of times, in the past on our boat for a couple of drinks and more recently we drove up to have lunch by the water. I have to say our server who I can’t remember her name was awesome, she was beyond friendly and just damn good at her job. I love when you find people in the service industry who just have both the skips and personality to be in the business, it’s rare these days. On to the food, I had the fish tacos with some kind of mango salsa. They had great flavor BUT, where is the fish? Literally two ½″ pieces of fish on the entire taco. Not sure what’s up with that for $ 11.99! So while it was tasty, I felt that for the price it wasn’t worth the lack of fish. Also the side of rice was kind of an after thought, they could eliminate that or provide a better side option. The fish and chips that my amigo had were huge and very good. Much better value for the price there, I think the fish and chips were a buck or two cheaper than the fish tacos also. This is a nice spot to sit outside and have a couple drinks. Don’t expect the food to blow your mind but it’s not terrible either.

Although the location is great, the food was not. The special was lobster tacos which my entire table ordered. Unfortunately, the tacos were missing some ingredients, one being lobster. The soggy taco shells were sprinkled with small pieces of onion, tomato, cilantro and microscopic pieces of lobster. The plates were so meager they were embarrassing. Very over priced at $ 20.

Sure its right on the water, but I guess that’s why they don’t care if they serve horrible food! I had fish tacos with Mahi Mahi. I took one bite and it was the stinkiest fish taste ever! I sent it back opting for nothing else. I have never had a bad fish taco before. I lost complete trust in safe food at that point. Someone else had nachos and they were so salty they could hardly be eaten. By far the worst meal I’ve had in a very long time.

NOTATALLIMPRESSED!!! I am here with my husband and 5 other family members for my husband’s and my 19th year yes(NINETEENYEARS!!) wedding anniversary. Not a one of us is happy with our meals… or the prices. As I sit here listening to all of the complaints around the table I have to say, I’m only giving one star because it’s mandatory to put something. So very disappointed! Bad memory for such a fabulous occasion!

Very Dark and Dingy Place! Absolutely Horrible Service! We have a table of 6, so it was not a Huge party… Waited 30 min for one appetizer! 45 min for our food! Drinks came out in a fair amount of time, but orders weren’t taken often enough! Nothing was cleared from our table, we had plates and empty glasses that had piled up — Where were the busboys or wait staff??? Food was mediocre at best… and over priced for what you got! I do not recommend dining here! Go down the street, there are many other restaurants that have much better ambiance and service!!! Gordon Ramsay needs to save the place!!!

Maybe I caught them on an off-night — I’m usually there only for snacks and drinks. I don’t expect great value — it’s a great location. I got the fish tacos, and while they weren’t the worst I’ve ever had, they weren’t much better. I didn’t find the seasoning to be appropriate — it seemed more like sweet & sour sauce from a chinese food packet than the«mango chili sauce» promised in the menu. Each of the tacos had a single thumb-sized piece of flavorless, dry fish thrown on top of a huge pile of cabbage. If they keep fish tacos on the menu, perhaps they could be renamed«deconstructed egg roll in a tortilla»?

I really want to give better than a 3 rating but I can’t. The food is decent but overpriced. You don’t get much for the money they charge. The atmosphere on the patio is the best in southeastern MI, hands down. You have big beautiful marina to look at. I guess if I had to sum it up, I would say it’s a great place to grab a drink and an appetizer. If this place was not on the water, I would likely never come here.

Excellent fish tacos, prepared with mahi mahi and a mélange of other flavors that were absolutely perfect. I’ll be going back to order those again. This is a friendly, relatively quiet place with pleasant marina views from all the tables. Parking is tight, however, so valet is an option.

This place is all about the location and scenery. Off the marina you’re sure to see plenty of action here but the service and food are really not the real catch here. As my sister said during our visit, «I’ve had better fish at bingo»!

VERY disappointed in Brownies last night. We pulled up to the seawall and our boat was met by some girl who DIDNT work for them and asked to pay $ 100 to tie off and come in for dinner. She wasn’t able to tell us why. None of the security guards last night knew anything about a charge to tie off the wall and finally a manger came out and told a friend that we DID have to pay $ 100 because Brownies was having a party(which we weren’t there for). We left even though one of our friends had a reservation at 7 for dinner on the patio and were already inside. We took our boat from our slip at JBM one channel over to dine at Brownies with more than 20 friends when we could have just stayed at Tin Fish. Because we prefer the food and(usually) atmosphere. I don’t have to pay valet $ 100 to park in the back of the lot, but you want me to pay that to tie off your seawall? Which has ALWAYSBEENFREE??? What is wrong with you? If this is the way the nautical mile restaurants are going this summer I hope they make hay while the sun shines. I don’t think boaters will support this kind of douchebag crap. It’s like they forgot about all the boaters who have been loyal to them through all the changes and their initial grand reopening years ago and now want to gouge us to throw a rope on their cleat. Thank God for places like Mike’s on The Water and the new Current who want local boaters and SCS residents to flick to them and provide a classy dining experience. Guess we’ll take our friends, our boat and our money there.

First and last time here. I ordered the chicken nachos and they were a joke. Huge pile of chips and maybe 10 actually had anything on them, very small amount of chicken, and the cheese was dried out on the chips. The waitress also told me they didn’t have regular salsa, only pico, yet the food runner brought me out regular salsa. The manager came by to ask how everything was and we told him the nachos were a little pathetic and he agreed, he offered to take a whopping 10% of the nachos only, which saved us a whole $ 1.10. Less than two minutes later, the table behind us complained that it was taking too long to receive their drinks and the same manager said their two drinks were free. So i get $ 1.10 off of the worst nachos Ive ever had, and they get a bud light and a piña colada for free? Definitely wont go back.

This place has some real good food. The flatbread rustica as an appetizer is awesome(the caramelized onions do the trick), the bread rolls are good, the ribs were real good, fries are above average and not over-seasoned, and the green beans were cooked perfectly. I tried the mac n cheese and that was very good. Service was good, too. Solid four stars — plus the nice view!

Ordered Cobb salad with lobster. It was a joke. Old lettuce, and egg, micro bacon with what appeared to be a lobster tossed right on it. The service was horrific and it wasn’t even busy. Spend your money somewhere else.

Great location! Staff is not the best here! This place is pretty nice to go on for a date night! Great view. Try to seat by the water. I would have given this place a 5 star but The service and staff here is not as good as other places! First, we had to wait for 15 minutes to get the server’s attention. Then we ordered our drinks during the happy hour! The drinks were fine. Just a little sweet for the cocktails! When we got the check after we were done, the waitress told that for the happy hour, you have to be at the bar or else they charge you for the full price! Never heard of that! she said she couldn’t do anything! Damn. It didn’t say anywhere in the menu about this happy hour rule! Anyways, I paid the full price. It was a pretty good experience until the waitress kinda ruined it! Not that I am a penny picker but duh — happy hour! Lol
