The food is very good, but the service is incredible! I came with a group of 6(2 kids under the age of 5). They were originally going to sit us at a high top table but were considerate of the kids we had and moved us to a low table. Then we decided we wanted to sit outside(yeah, we were that group), and they easily moved us again. The waitress we had was very knowledgeable of the whole menu, knew all the specials, knew the correct recommendations, and took our complicated orders with no pen and paper needed. The restaurant is located in the middle of downtown St. Charles and with a relaxed atmosphere inside, and sits in the middles of a courtyard outside. The menu is smaller, but it has great options for salad, pizza, pasta and the things that go with that. We tried some of the bruschetta to start out; the cannelloni, artichoke and prosciutto. All of them were delicious but the prosciutto was my favorite. We also ordered the margherita pizza and that night’s pizza and pasta specials to share with the table. Everything was very nicely done. I enjoyed everything I ate. They had gelato options for the kids at the end of the meal and the house Pinot Grigio was a good pairing to go with the meal. The price was about $ 40 per person including a few drinks, tax and tip, so it’s very reasonable for the quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I cannot say enough good about this restaurant. Everything was delicious starting with the wine, moving on to the Caprese salad and pizza and ending with the best cappacinno EVER and an unwrapped cannoli. Also pleasant and accommodating servers. 5 stars!

Tried last night for the first time. The burrata was amazing. The char grilled bread… the bruschetta with the artichokes… yum. Only negative. the space is a little cold as far as the décor goes and very loud music.

This is my favorite place in St Charles. Difficult to find for some but don’t let that keep you from trying it. The proccutio pizza is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The service is always top notch. The brushetta is also not to be overlooked, they let you mix and match the varieties so you can sample several.

3 ½ stars. We came here at dinner time and ordered a pair of pizza’s two split; the margherita and prosciutto. They’ve also have a good 12 – 15 beers to choose from that aren’t seen on their website. Back to the food, each pizza was good. In retrospect I wish we would have ordered the salsicia instead of the margherita. There was nothing wrong with it, but I was in the mood for more exotic ingredients. The prosciutto was pretty good, our favorite of the two. Price-wise is where I had to cut back on the stars. Three pizza’s, a beer and two soft drinks shouldn’t run $ 60+. Not in St. Charles, not in Chicago. Price aside we were happy with the food and friendly service, I’m just not sure we’ll spend that kind of money here again. Cheers.

Family dinner. My daughter loved her spaghetti and meatballs. Wife and I shared pizza and carpaccio. All three dishes were tremendous. We absolutely loved the crust. Nice wine and craft beer selections. Looking forward to going back. Will try the bruschetta and antipasti plate next time.

Despite the overall high quality of the pizza product, I find the crust bland and unexciting. This is made up for in that the charcuterie and cheese selection is superior and the salads are above average. I appreciate the different ways the cheese, charcuterie, and bruschetta can be combined. If you are not a pizza person you could make a fabulous meal from the cheese, charcuterie, bruschetta, and salad selections. I also appreciate the sleek modern décor. I still like and recommend the pizza. The crust is just not to my taste.

I always have a great experience here! This place has a great atmosphere, kind of dark but menu is still visible. There are plenty of different seating options: bar, high tops, low seating tables, and(my personal favorite) sitting at the pizza bar. They have a nice selection of food and drinks on the menu. They always use fresh ingredients and get quite a lot their items imported from Italy. I always have great service at Neo and always am more than satisfied with my meal. This is one place I always bring people from out of town to because it is just that good.

Favorite pizza place in the area. As close to true Italian pizza as you can get close to home.

This place was amazing. We went for the Burrata and charcuterie but next time I’m definitely going to try their pizza. I watched the men as they tossed the pizza dough high in the air with the exposed brick oven behind them. It looked awesome. The burrata was creamy and delicious. Served with crusty bread on a bed of arugula and basil. Yummy. We then got the charcuterie. 6 choices. Since we got the burrata we decided to get mostly meat, parmesan, and marinated artichokes. Next time, I want to get more of the vegetable options. Sun dried tomatoes and more artichoke. Everything was amazing. I’m definitely going back again very soon.

Started with the Burrata(fresh mozzarella, market price $ 18). I’m not sure what was better, the mozzarella or the toast(really!) but the combination was outstanding. Don’t miss this(thanks to my brother Steve G for the recommendation). My gf and I each got a pizza — hers was the margherita(mozzarella and basil) while mine was the salsicia(sausage and carmelized onions, no sauce). Both were cooked throughout with a great crispy crust. Brick oven pizzas can be a little undercooked in the middle but that was not the case here. My only nit was the ambient music was a little loud for 5:30. It seemed to take over the otherwise calming atmosphere. Now if only the blaring yellow street lights in the adjacent courtyard could be toned down.

Love, love this place. Pizzeria Neo is my go to place. Love the atmosphere! This place is always consistent with their food and drink. Love their Cosmopolitans! For appetizers: you can’t go wrong with the Cannellni, Portobello, Prosciutto and my favorite the homemade meatballs! The Mista salad is big enough for two, with just enough lemon oil dressing. My go to pizza is the Speck. All of their pizza choices are authentic with fresh ingredients. Seating can get busy on a weekend. But you can always seat at the bar or at the pizza bar and watch the pizzas being prepared! Great staff and the manager, Kim is a sweetie.

So good! The pizza is amazing if you’re looking for that more European style pizza. I happened to be looking for that when I was here! The drink list was quite thorough. I really loved the trendy atmosphere and service. I didn’t have an appetizer, but those sure looked intriguing for next time! ;)

There are people in this world that do not prefer cheese on their pizza. Moi! Neo Pizza is my favorite place to get it just the way I like it. Marinara. Oregano. Parmesan. Arugula. Prosciutto. And an IPA. It’s as close to authentic Italian pizza as you can get. And I would know.

My lovely wife and I joined a group of our close friends at Neo to celebrate the September and October birthdays among us. It was the first time at Neo for the two of us, but some of our friends had eaten there before and gave high marks. We were seated comfortably in the large back room and our server was friendly and accommodating, explaining the various offerings on the menu. When I asked for my favorite Negroni to start, she didn’t know what it was but was more than willing to try. I’ll say that it’s something she can now add to her mixologist book, particularly for a Neopolitan restaurant, as it was delicious and spot on, . We proceeded with the Salumeria platters, and mixed and matched and shared two large ones with the group. My favorites by far were the Bresaola dried beef(imagine dried carpaccio) with arugula and shaved pecorino and the Finocchiona 100-day pork salume with fennel, but everything we sampled was great. For mains, we decided on the Pizza del Giorno, thin crust with bianco sauce which featured house made sausage, white bean purée, fontina cheese and shaved red onions to which we added some crimini mushrooms. Bellissima! Others in the group had the spaghetti and meatballs, portobello ravioli and the polpetti, all drawing forks up reviews. All that wonderful food left no room for dessert unless we wanted to have a Mr. Creosote moment. We’ll definitely be back.

My mom and I came here while I was home to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. Really fun recent addition to that area of St. Charles. We ordered bruschetta: cannellini, funghi, melanzane & carciofi. Loved them all! And we split the salsicia pizza. It was a good choice too. The only thing I really didn’t like was the white sangria. It wasn’t mixed very well and tasted almost syrupy. Other than that, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and I would check it out again next time I am in town. I almost forgot! We also got the bruschetta and it was AMAZING. That was hands down my favorite dish. The cheese was so creamy and the bread was perfectly toasted.

I love this place I came here to celebrate my 50th. Birthday. I had a lot of fun. I love the pizza Margherita with extra basil. The place is modern and clean. It is nice to know the owner because we get good service. I had a wonderful time here. Too bad my sister that drove from Chicago to celebrate it passed away 2years later and I charisma those moments. Now history. The only problem here there is a long time waiting to be seated. Over all the food is good

Fun hip place to enjoy unique pizza. The Speck pizza with fresh arugula was great and so was the burrata, so creamy and delish. The selection of meats and cheeses are extensive so you can build your own charcuterie. If you like Pinot Grigio, try their own label, very crisp and light. Good for a crowd so you can order a little bit of everything.

Great spot for dinner and even just drinks and apps. Classic Italian themed menu but with lots of unique twists on the dishes you love. Meatballs, beef carpaccio, pasta of the day and best of all Nine! Different types of bruschetta! They also have a «salumi» menu where you can pick and choose from a wide variety of Italian meats, cheeses and veggies(choose 4,6 or 8) to create a unique platter all your own. It is Amazing! Last time I went, they were out of some of the more popular meats but I also went fairly late. I could(and have) only eat appetizers here and be extremely content, but focus of Neo is their handmade wood burning oven pizzas which all contain unique and delicious combinations of fresh ingredients for every pallet. During my most recent trip my friends and I ordered the burrata(fresh mozzarella that melts and spreads like butter! Yum!) which was imported directly from Italy, we added some meats and veggies from the salumi menu and everything was phenomenal. We sipped on the white sangria all night which they were also able to tailor for us so it wasn’t TOO sweet. My one complaint would be the wall to wall tall windows! We were a little chilly so bring a sweater. Other than that, absolutely worth a visit.
