What is there not to like? Plus service is quick and friendly. Everything we’ve ever had is great. Go early on the weekends to beat family’s or the church crowd.

Went for a gyro after seeing reviews but they were out so got a Philly steak with fries and it was delicious. Will hopefully get to try the gyro soon but the cheese steak was delicious and fries were crispy, can’t ask for more!

Best donuts in St. Charles… what I especially like. they do not drown their donuts in sugar… too many places put way too much sugar on their donuts.

Hopped in here a couple times for their Gyro… Pretty looked clean. I would recommend this place for a try.

I was shopping nearby tonight, and thought I would call in a carry out order to take home to my family. Called Mario’s 3 separate times over a 15 minute time frame, and no one answered. After I finished shopping I drove by on my way to a nearby fast food restaurant. They were open, with no customers. Frustrating because I was looking forward to their gyros tonight, but wanted it to be ready for pick up.

Love the dozen donut holes for $ 1.25! Bacon egg & cheese on Texas toast for $ 3.29 is awesome!

My family and I grab carryout breakfast here atleast once a month. I get egg and cheese on a croissant and it’s fantastic! Delicious donuts as well! We have not gotten a bad food item from here! It’s fantastic!

Average. Expected more because of high Unilocal score. Gyro meat looks preformed and not cut off of big rotating slab. Nothing horrible, but nothing to write home about.

Awesome gyros and some of the best hummus in town. More of a take out place. Very little seating.

I want to rate them 5 stars, but they won’t sell me food. I drive right past Mario’s on my way to work. For less that a Starbucks coffee I can get my donut fix or a fantastic breakfast sandwich that’s made right when I order it. I have to be at work at 6:00 am. It’s very hard to find something fresh and delicious for breakfast before 6 am. You can imagine how excited I was to see that they open at 5:30. Lately, whenever I drive by to get something, they’re not open yet. I understand that some days at 5:35 they might not quite be ready to open. They’re usually not even open at 5:45. A couple of weeks ago, I stopped by at 5:50. The display case was full of donuts and the lady was behind the counter. Whohoo! I was going to get a hot, fresh donut! I walked up to the door and pulled, but it was locked. The lady behind the counter looked at me through the glass windows like I was an annoyance. I waited 5 more minutes and left. A few months ago, the same lady was running the register. I walked in at 5:58 and stood in line with a few other people. By the time I stepped up to the register it was a few seconds before 6. I was going to be a few minutes late for work, but I didn’t care because I was going to get a delicious sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. I placed my order and was told that they didn’t turn the griddle on until 6. I looked up and saw the second hand click past 6:00. I looked down at the lady and told her it was 6. She didn’t say anything, she just looked at me with the annoyed look on her face again. I stood there for a few uncomfortable seconds and then asked if I could get a donut instead. I have had a few other times where I was treated like an annoyance, and all of those times this same lady was running the register. The others have always been fantastic! Overall, the food is amazing. The sign on the front needs to be changed to 6:00 or they need to open on time.

Great donuts; my daughters’ favorite. And our 12 year old son, who is a gyro fanatic, pronounces Marios«the best ever». They ARE quite good, and the service there is fantastic. Friendly staff, always with a smile. Recent renovations adding the new space really are nice. Great for a quick lunch.

Felafel and a donut — a good vegetarian lunch! Felafel sandwich arrived on a pillowy pita bread. I definitely prefer that style to the ultra-thin versions found in some local places. The sandwich itself was chock full of fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Pickles too although pickles on a felafel falls into the category of strange things in STL that I don’t really understand. There was also a tahini-based sauce that added considerably to the sandwich. The individual felafel were very nicely constructed, flavorful and crispy on the outside while still being moist on the inside. Not quite perfect as they would have benefited from a little heavier hand in the kitchen when it came to the seasoning and herbs. I love their donuts — nothing more to say there. Note: this location has a greater variety in the case than their location on 94.

Was in the area so stopped by for what ended up being the first of three lunches. Haha. Restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. Donuts filled the counters. I felt the pressure but got the glazed, Boston cream, and apple fritter. They were ok. Standard tasting donuts. The apple fritter was the best. Sweet. Strong Apple and cinnamon flavor. It felt a little greasy but I still ate almost half of it. The others I just had a small bite. There wasn’t much filling in the Boston cream. I got the standard gyro to go. It looked like a standard gyro but wow, it was extremely tasty and flavorful. All ingredients were good quality and very fresh. Standard ingredients but the meat was extremely flavorful. Staff was nice. They gave people after me the heads up that there could be a 20 minute wait for their order! Yep, it got busy but people waited! I will now drive out here just for their gyro! Highly recommended.

We love this place! With great new renovations there’s more room for family sit down! Donuts are out of this world and the gyros are best in town hands down!!! Love the staff as well!

Has promise but definitely lacking in consistency. They get busy and service becomes very slow. Falafel is usually very good. Gyros as well. On the flip side, donuts are not very fresh(at least when I’ve purchased). This place can easily be a four or even five star joint if they improve attention to detail and are prepared for rushes and fix a few issues.

Value with flavor at this cute Mediterranean & breakfast /brunch café & donut shop was my overall one 7PM visit experience. — order at the counter, get your own drinks but the cute counter girl brought out an actual plate with my gyro(without the pretense of being a waitress for tip. After eating, I cleaned my own area but still think she needs a «tip jar») –place is larger than it looks with booths behind the counter on the left side -$ 5.99 gyro was fresh made, hot, meaty & nice sized mess(actually over packed & had to re-stuff the lettuce a few times… Not a bad thing) –cinnamon twist donut called that was denser than normal & probably made in the morning but not bad for less than $ 1
