The employee that fitted me for a new pair of running shoes was fantastic! I have been running in the same type of shoe for many years, but was looking for a change due to recent heel/arch pain. She showed me several options and fitted me for inserts. I was very impressed with her knowledge and her willingness to take the time to give me some extra tips and tricks for how to manage pain. I absolutely love the shoes and inserts so far!

I love this place. The workers are nice and knowledgable. They don’t just try to get you in and out or force the most expensive shoe on you, they take the time to figure out your needs and what will be best for you.

I love the incredible personalized service at Fleet Feet. Barb spent at least an hour with me, and for the first time in ages, my feet are pain free! I love my new athletic shoes, wicking socks and«house shoes.» THANKYOU!

The support walkers/runners/athletes receive from Fleet Feet is the best. I’ve had some trouble with my shoes this year — no problem — Fleet Feet takes back my shoes(within 60 days) and helped me find the shoe that worked.

Now I see why this store has all great reviews! Val was extremely helpful and patient as I tried on 3 different shoes with/without different inserts. They analyze your foot and select shoes/inserts for you and then you actually go outside and do a little jog a few yards to make sure everything looks/feels right. It was the experience I hoped for, plus more!

Expensive but they were awesome for someone who is new to the correct running shoes world! I will be doing back. They gave me the works to be a good runner and how to participate with their running team. Measured my feet, figured out what shoes I should be wearing and how to prevent injuries. Very knowledgable and friendly people! Also I don’t like writing reviews but was so excited about my purchase and how this will improve my running performance that I had to write one plus let people know about the very friendly people.

I was a first time customer and Tim was great at walking me through the process. He was very patient with me and taught me a lot along the way. I am really happy with my selection.

I love Fleet Feet. Every single person that works there has one interest, and that is making you the customer a better runner. I can say this, having never purchased a single pair of shoes from them. I have purchased every other running accessory under the sun from them, and the knowledgable staff has always exceeded my expectations and answered my questions. Whether you’re just starting to get in shape, or you’re an Ironman finisher, they will have something to help you.

I’ve been training for a 5k and had recently developed knee pain so I knew I needed to get new shoes. Everyone told me this was the place to go and I was not let down. The service was impeccable. First, measurements of my feet were taken. From there, it was determined I needed custom insoles for an arch issue. Not a problem. I had two women helping me try on shoes(as in they slide them on your feet and tie them) and they watched my stride and helped me find the right shoe, even though it took 5 – 6 pairs. After I mentioned I’d had issues running as a woman on the busty side, they offered a sports bra fitting. I didn’t think they would even have one in my size but they actually had 3 different styles for me to try on and compare after I was measured. The worker who helped with that was courteous and professional and in the end, the bra is a lot better than what I was working with at Target. This place is great for runners of all speeds and levels. I’m a slow moving chubster who is learning to run and they couldn’t have been more supportive. My only advice would be to get there before school lets out because all the cross-country kids will be pouring in then. This place has a great rewards program so if you have two people needing shoes, send in one person first and use the rewards on the second when it hits your inbox about 3 days later.

Another great visit to fleet feet! I was once again very happy with everything. I was prepared to make this a quick visit, because I’m in love with my current running shoe. However, Nike discontinued that shoe(every runner’s worst nightmare!) so I had to find a new shoe. The man was really thorough and super helpful in finding me a shoe that would be comparable to the one I love. I have to say he did a great job; I walked out of there with a different shoe, but one that I think will be great. My only complaint is that I wish they’d build a Fleet Feet that was closer to me! I haaaate driving all the way out to Chesterfield.

I don’t like shoe shopping. I find it a general PITA. I have awkward feet and finding a Good fitting running shoe is never easy. I have bought more shoes from these guys in the last several years than any other place. During my most recent visit, The shoe I had killed was no longer available, and for a guy like me, this sucks. It meant I had to go through a shoe fitting again. I always feel bad for the people doing this. I go towards the end of the day(as recommended) so my feet have swollen just a bit. Two people couldn’t get me fit. The manager spent more than an hour with me. They brought out computers and where doing on line analysis. I felt like a weirdo with weird feet. They actually, surprisingly looked at it, as a challenge worthy of their time. So I went with it. I told them what fit and what didn’t. After quite a while they said, all of our conventional wisdom is not working so lets try the opposite. They found a pair that fit very well shortly their after. I was really glad because had I gone somewhere else, I would have ended up with a shoe that hurt. They really cared about how my feet felt. Which made me feel like less of a freak, and kinda cool. I have two different feet. They told me this is normal and that mine is not as bad as a lot of other customers. Maybe they were just saying it, but I started to feel normal again. I highly recommend this store if you hate getting shoes, and or your shoes never fit correctly. They may kill me for saying this, but bring in all your shoes that fit like crap and see if they can fit the insoles better or give you some insight why some shoes are destroying your feet. They were willing and able to help me with this. Got several sets of insoles for dress shoes I hated wearing. Now I can actually feel my feet at the end of the day. I hope this helps and I hope you check them out. Your feet will literally thank you, I promise.

This is the place to go for sneakers. After a couple years buying shoes at New Balance and being unhappy with my shoes, I decided to try Fleet Feet again. The salesperson spent about 40 minutes with me, and I was impressed with his level of knowledge. I’ve never seen service and expertise like this at any other shoe store anywhere. Highly recommended.

While training for the Lewis and Clark Half Marathon, I recently went to Fleet Feet for a hydration belt and some Sharkies. I was a little unsure about which hydration belt to get when I was approached by Alex. She was extremely knowledgeable about how each of the hydration belts worked and gave me the pros and cons of each. After I selected one, she helped me fit it so it would be comfortable for my next run. She also showed me how easy it was to adjust should I find it uncomfortable after my run. When I was selecting the Sharkies, she also suggested some of the other hydration supplements. Alex, explained that she was in the process of getting her nursing degree and stressed the importance of keeping yourself hydrated, especially in the summer time while training. She said that going with the Sharkies was a great way to replenish electrolytes. However, I needed to make sure I have some sort of electrolyte replacement in my water bottles as well. Keeping two bottles with just water, she said to break a Nuun tablet in half and use for the other two bottles of water. I have had nothing but great experiences with the staff at Fleet Feet. I had gone into there before because I was getting some severe blistering. I thought it may be the shoes I had just bought, but it was because I was wearing two pairs of socks. One of which were cotton. Cotton socks are a big no-no when trying to run, especially long distances. They recommended some socks made from synthetic materials that help pull the moisture away from your feet. While I checked out, they said that should the socks not work, I could bring the shoes back and I could be fitted for a different pair. Sure enough, the socks worked and my shoes are AWESOME! Again, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences there. Because their staff is very educated about their products and various sports, I will most definitely be going back to Fleet Feet!

Awesome running store with locations in Fenton, Chesterfield, and St. Charles. If you are new to running or new to the area, this is the place to go for your shoes. The staff is really knowledgeable and helpful, and they take the time to properly fit you. They don’t suggest the most expensive shoe just cause its pricey, but instead, measure your feet, watch you run, and allow you to take the shoes for a quick test run outside the store. Aside from shoes, they have all the running apparel you could need, along with other accessories. Yes, it is in the giant strip mall in Chesterfield — but its not hard to find. Its between the Lowes and the Subway. I’ve heard really good things about their training programs as well. They will prepare you for a marathon or half-marathon, and they work with all skill levels. Check out their website for a calendar of upcoming races in the St. Louis area.
