I am a basic shrimp-n-chips guy; light, plentiful, tasty, and priced just right. My wife absolutely loved the Tomato bisque and Surf Salad… or maybe it’s because it was Margherita Tuesday. The live music was amazing, and the fresh, easy-on-the-surfer décor was clean and classy.

I had the SURFSIDECHICK, a crispy roasted half a chicken drizzled with a creamy garlic thyme brown butter, over garlic whipped potatoes with string beans. The chicken was excellent as was the sauce but the mashed potatoes had no flavor. Got a side baked potato, I think the biggest I ever had in a restaurant. The meal was overpriced for what it was and not in keeping with other restaurants in the area as just a casual meal. Our waiter, John B., was excellent.

Really nice place, we ate outside on the patio sitting on really comfy couches. I had the Braised Beef Sliders, they were delicious and my dad had the seafood risotto which was really good too! Definitely a good place to eat, friendly staff and atmosphere. :)

This place was an amazing dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere out on the patio can’t be beat, and scoring a spot on one of the couches just makes it better. The beer selection is a bit small, but there are enough quality brews to keep you happy. I had the ahi tuna appetizer and was very happy with the flavoring and the portion. The blackened Florida catch happened to be flounder that night, and was incredible. Regardless of what the fish of the day is, I highly recommend it. The service was very fast and courteous, and the pricing was more than fair considering what you get for it. If you’re looking for a great dinner as the sun goes down, look no further!

Carley is the best bartender in town! Love the place but… This is about their wine! It’s cheap tasting wine for $$ go back to the last wine you had, way better for the price!

The food here is very good especially the salad with ahi tuna. It has a relaxed and laid back vibe. What makes the place outstanding is Go Get Gone who plays there on Monday nights. If you like vintage music, classic 50s rock and roll, and rockabilly, go see Angi and Mike(sometimes Katie joins in on drums)! They have a super sound and know all the classics. Mike has an amazing voice and Angi plays bass like nobody’s business! Go to enjoy dinner, but don’t miss Go Get Gone!

It was so hard to pick an entrée from this menu! Everything looked delicious. I settled on the risotto which did not disappoint. The atmosphere and the staff were extremely nice. They were out of quite a bit but I can’t complain considering we were amongst the last parties in the place. We’ll definitely be back.

Had an awesome dinner at Coquina for my friend’s rehearsal dinner. Although when we arrived the set-up wasn’t ideal, the staff was very accommodating and switched out tables around so we were more comfortable. I had the Halibut with risotto which was delicious. And the chowder was amazing… That’s a must order! Drinks were very good and very strong – which is good! Deliciously powerful. Drink moderately folks!

We were invited by localers who go every Tuesday for live music and fish tacos. It was excellent: the music(with a Cuban flare), the service and the tacos(fish, shrimp and oyster: all fresh). What a great evening. We’ll be back. BTW, the margaritas were fresh and excellent too.

Great restaurant and ambiance. Very cool décor and food is amazing for a beach restaurant. St. augustine is loaded with restaurant options but this is always my favorite. Same owner as Barnacle Bill’s, a staple in town Highly recommend

My family has been visiting this restaurant for about 8 years while vacationing. Our last visit was another wonderful experience. Our server was attentive and intuitive. The Tuesday shrimp and fish tacos were delicious and a steal for only $ 5. The $ 5 margaritas weren’t too shabby either.

Not a good experience. Service was slow and too many mistakes were made. Food sent sent back from surrounding tables too. Had the burger which wasn’t home made which for the price it should not be the frozen variety. Ribs disappointing too.

Great setting, great service, and wonderful seafood. Walking distance to the beach. Plenty of free parking. I give it a 5 star rating!

Came here with my boyfriend and our two friends tonight. It was pretty full but there was no wait, which is always nice. Extremely slow and unprofessional service… It’s always a little annoying when the table next to you, which was seated after you, is served first. And I’m not talking a few minutes either. By the time our food arrived, they were finishing dessert. Strange, since two of us ordered burgers and the others ordered the same pasta dish. It would have been nice if our waitress was anywhere to be found during our hour wait for our food. My boyfriend liked his burger(sting ray) but the pasta dish I ordered(point break something or other) was mediocre at best. Bland sauce and the shrimp was dry. The sun dried tomatoes were mush. Nothing special for me… but maybe there are other, more flavorful dishes on the menu. I’ll pass… Our waitress didn’t even offer us dessert or thank us, and we weren’t about to wait for her to. I wouldn’t go back, the whole experience was pretty underwhelming. Ps– The décor is tacky. I can see how this would appeal to tourists who don’t know any better.

If I was to rate this restaurant on the food alone, I would have given it 6 stars. Unfortunately the night I went they were having an off night. Appetizers came out late. They couldn’t serve wine cause they had run out of wine glasses, both bathrooms were out of order(had to go to the restaurant next door) but the food was so amazing that after leaving I want as upset as I would have been. Though they did give us a free app and the manager made it a point to visit our table several times, I feel they could have been a little more generous when it came to the bill.

No other word to describe it but FABULOUS! I had the crab cakes and cucumber martini! Loved the tuna tostadas and our server Savannah was very nice and accommodating with our 2 wild little ones! 5 stars across the board!

Se had a great time there. We had a beer at the bar and then we went for dinner in a patio table. Service was very good, attentive and smiling. Check was arrond our expectation. Excellent.
