180 Vilano Grill & Pizza

Last night was the second time I’ve eaten here! Excellent pizza!!! It is a must have any time I visit Villano beach!!!

One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time! Ordered the «My Wife’s Favorite» with Garlic, spicy sausage and creamy ricotta. The hand tossed crust was the perfect thickness and was browned yet chewy — loved it!

This was our fourth time going to 180. We really enjoy this place. The atmosphere is not great but the food and service make up for it!!!
Fried shrimp meal is great. Large shrimp, steak fries, and Cole slaw with — — wait for it — – mango added to it. Pretty tasty!!!
I have tried the pizza, calzone, and fish sandwich. All of these were very good. The meat sauce spaghetti gets kudos as well!!!
This place is still a pretty well kept secret that deserves a try!!! It’s been elevated to one of my favorites.

Super delicious. We wandered in here around 9pm on Mothers Day after taking an evening cruise and it was fabulous! What a pleasant surprise!
We both had the American Pie which is basically a burger wrapped in pizza crust and it could not have been more yummy! It came with the BEST fries on the planet!
For dessert I had the chocolate peanut butter pie (last piece!) and my mom got the key lime. We seriously could have licked the plates. Everything was delicious!

Everything about this place is comfortable! The food is always great. Matt the owner makes fresh and excellent food. I am always happy with my choice– pizza– fish– beer– all good!

Pizza, salads, burgers, Italian dishes, beer, and nice people. Great spot, we go quite often for good food at good prices.

Nestled close to the beach and displaying vibrant colors this little resturant is a hidden gem. With a quaint inside and outside seating you can enjoy your meal and the beach vibe.
The food is well seasoned and prepared. We had the tacos, burgers, and some appetizers. Everything was excellent. This is one of the better restaurants in the area.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had… and I lived in New York! Everything made from scratch, nothing frozen. Pizza was perfectly crispy on the bottom, not burned. Toppings were great (we had «my wife’s favorite»). Wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Tiny place, probably gets busy at night and on the weekends. Will be back next time we are in town!

We were very lucky to discover this local gem on our way back to New Hampshire. Wonderful vibe, terrific service and simply the best pizza we’ve ever tasted!

From the outside the place looks like there is not much to offer then you go inside and the feel is the same. The place is dirty and in need of updated furniture and repairs, the bathroom could use some of the same as well. The mahi sandwich was good but I have to disagree with all the reviews in regards to the crab cakes. The crab cakes were not that great, I had much better in other places. The service was good and friendly.

We asked if we could sit and wait. They had multiple tables open but they didn’t want to «overwhelm the kitchen»!!’ The locals that were sitting outside said they could not even get a table even though there were open tables

Delicious! I had pizza & my husband had the burger n mango slaw. Key lime pie was very good. Good service!

We were pleasantly surprised by this place! It doesnt look like much from the outside, but the food was delicious. I had the grilled mahi mahi sandwich with a side of onion rings. The sandwich comes with some slightly crispy fried onions, a nice chunk of grilled mahi mahi, tartar sauce, lettuce, and tomato, some kind of spicy remoulade on the side, and a fried pickle spear. The combination of flavors was excellent! The onion rings were very good (try dipping them in the remoulade sauce that comes with the fish sandwich! Yum!). The pepperoni pizza was good too! It has a nice thin, but not too thin, crispy crust!
The service was great and friendly.

After looking at the high reviews this restaurant has been able to garner and looking for a new place to try in the area after having already eaten everywhere else, my Dad and I decided to give this place a shot. Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.
The location is in Vilano Beach in an older building, which is fine because pretty much everything around here is. After being seated we ordered an appetizer of calamari to split and found it to be average at best — little did we know we’d be begging for this standard of quality later. I ordered the crab cakes after reading other reviews that claimed they were phenomenal and «world class.» These reviewers must have gotten teleported to the Mid Atlantic when their food came out where actual world class crab cakes are served because what I got was nothing of the sort. The «cake» was nearly all breading that was far too hardened on the exterior for what it should be as well as being bone dry — a classic sign of being overcooked. Despite this I forged on and cut into the cake where I saw a hugely inappropriate number of red and green bell peppers inside and nowhere near enough crab meat. It looked like the Mexican flag in there. Red and green bell peppers are traditionally used to offset the more powerful fishy tastes in certain types of fish, but they are not required in a crab cake — most certainly not in the overwhelming amount that they were present here.
My father ordered the grouper special which he and I both found to be bone dry, lacking flavor and overcooked as well and it is at this point we began to realize our food had taken quite some time to come out — understandable, since nothing is overcooked quickly. I did not try the bed of risotto and spinach that the fish was served over so I cannot comment on the quality of it.
It should be noted that our waitress was very friendly and attentive, but that’s the only good thing I have to say. There are far too many better places to eat in the area to bother with this one. Given the rating the establishment has on here I would like to hope that our experience was far outside the norm, but as it stands I cannot recommend it to anyone.

Food was great but when I got home I noticed that my bill was $ 5.00 higher than what I had signed for! I guess the waitress figured she deserved a 30% tip! Kinda wish I hadn’t left anything now!
Yes, I am disputing the bill!

While taking a short vacation in the St. Augustine area I thought I would give Vilano Grill a shot. I have to say pretty, pretty good. I had the Fish tacos the first night and decided to come back a second night for the blackened salmon. Both dishes were excellent! The price was very reasonable as well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with some of my questions regarding what places of interest should l see.

Great service but the food was just okay. My red clam chowder looked delicious but it was lukewarm and lacking in flavor. I was hoping for it to be piping hot since it was windy and cold that evening but it wasn’t served at the right temperature. Had the mushroom and pepperoni pizza which was also beautiful in appearance but the flavors were missing-​perhaps using better quality cheese will help? The crust was crispy but it was not served at the right temperature. This pie didn’t deliver, unfortunately.

Atmosphere is quaint, kind of a hole in the wall, great service, food was awesome!!! Portions were big food don’t let the appearance fool you go in and eat!!! Three of us shared Lobster mac n cheese, wedge salad and calzone and had plenty leftover.

Chris was awesome a pleasure to eat there they made my family feel welcome pizza was awesome !!! I highly recommend them

A MUST when you’re in the area! The staff was super friendly, inside had really cute décor, and food was great! (Don’t let the outside deter you… not much to look at from the road.)
We started w/​the mozarella bites and they were good. Hubs had the American Pie burger and made me try some since it was so good. Amazing flavor… he almost asked for it w/​o mustard… don’t do it! Leave it the way it is on the menu and you will not regret it! I had the fish tacos w/​the mango slaw. The fish was a little dry, but the slaw had wonderful flavor!
We will definitely return when in the area!
