Stopped in on a Monday afternoon and found it empty. Upon entering I was struck with the smell in the restaurant that resembled a mens room urinal cake. The décor in the place is a myriad of plastic vines, plants, arrangements etc that led me to believe Hobby Lobby had finally come to Springtown. This place is very dark and has a depressing feel. No pasta, sauce, pizza, nor any other food smells were in the atmosphere. Just dusty plants and urinal cake. I ordered the Sausage Stuffed Jumbo Shells with marinara and a salad with Italian dressing. Dressing is clearly from a bottle. Lettuce was some iceberg with a few sprinkles of pepper. The bread was store bought but served warm at least. The pasta dish was served with a large amount of Parmesan cheese encrusted on the top. Adding cheese to a dish is generally reserved to the customer at Italian restaurants… I found it a sign of an arrogant chef who feels that he can adequately determine. 1. If the customer ACTUALLY likes Parmesan and 2. How much Parmesan to pour on. The sauce was ok, the filling had a mushy baby food consistency, and the sausage was actually crumbled breakfast sausage. Not one piece of a good fresh Italian sausage could be found in here. Waiter was friendly although dressed too casually to fit in with the attempted upscale décor. The rest of the male staff could be seen peering out over the kitchen counter occasionally. No smiles, no happiness… just eerie eyeballs. Spooky. This is my second time in here and although it was an improvement from my first visit, I shall reserve my need for an Italian fix for somewhere else. The bill for two meals no alcohol was not too high, but still not a very good value… this one is a real rotten tomato.

The food here is typical of most places in Springtown. I wish we had a good place but other than a few places, I will drive else ware.
